LG G4 H811 the screen will go off (set for 30sec screen off) while looking (reading) at the phone with most apps I have installed. I downloaded a Proximity Sensor test app and the sensor responded correctly. Phone is rooted, unlocked running stock 20o.

I have a Desire Bravo unlocked and the proximity sensor isnt working so the screen goes black everytime I make a call on the phone or skype.
The only way I have been able to use is through MIUI ROM since it allows you to turn off the proximity sensor.
Is there another ROM that can do this? OR can can someone guide me how turn the sensor off? There must be a way, any developers here?
hey, i bought the phone one month ago but the Proximity Sensor is not working at home it only works under the sun , pleas help to fix it :crying::crying::crying:
the screen is not gone black during call at home and the red sensor is still working after the call
Are you using the stock ROM ? Have you installed any programs that use the proximity to add more functionality (i.e : Keep the screen alive, screen lock/unlock with proximity sensor etc..) ?

Not i am not , i made the factory restore and it's the same , i am using the normal (Original ) room with latest update 4.0.4 sense 4.1

I have a f240l ant till today everything was working fine... Now when i call someone the screen immediately turns off and i cant turn it on till the phone call ends...can someone help me how to solve this problem.... I also tried a app called proximity sensor but it doesn't work on my case now im turning on and off the screen manually during a call because i disabled the proximity sensor....

I have a strange problem. My LG-G3 (D855) screen, running on Android 6.0, does not turn on during a call.
It is working fine otherwise.
I entered the secret menu, and applied the proximity / ALC under HW test. Apparently, the sensor is locked to "NEAR" state.
How do I recalibrate it? Is it a Marshamllow issue? Is there any volunteer who can test this setting on his/her device?
There has been a few people with this issue that ive seen common fix is clean the prox sensor. Some screen protectoers interfere

I'm having a strange issue with my G4 H815, and I hope someone here can help!
The problem is that the phone won't rotate the screen when you rotate the device, and then the touch screen will not work. I must turn the screen off and then on again in order for the touch to work. But it will stop working as soon as I tilt the device (activate the gyroscope to rotate the screen). After some time this will force phone to restart and then it finds hard to boot up again.
I think it's gyroscope because the problem happens when I turn the device on the side for eg. when I open camera everything is OK but if I try to take a landscape photo it will immediately freeze. And I also did the testing procedure (277634#*#) when I test the motion sensor gyroscope values hardly change. Also in Settings>Display>Motion Sensor Calibration I get and error "Cannot Calibrate"
My questions are:
Where is gyroscope located?
Is it part of mb (soldered to the mother board)?
Does the screen digitizer affect gyroscope function? (because the glue on the top of my screen has come loose but I don't see it affecting anything other then proximity sensor).
