I have been running CM13 ever since I got my OP3 this summer, but today i decided to go back to oxygenos for a bit. Following a clean flash, I could text and use wifi but had no data capabilities. So I went and copied APN info from brothers phone, and I can get lte but after a few hrs and going back and forth from wifi and data, it starts to connect to H+. I have checked mobile data settings and confirmed lte preference.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I downloaded a lte network app that corrected the connection, switching from H+ to lte, but after going on wifi then back off I was back to H+...

The default setting was set on GSM/WCDMA.
I have a rogers S3 so I changed the setting to LTE/GSM/WCDMA. It was working for a bit then my mobile data completely crapped out and i was only able to make voice calls. I switched it back to GSM/WCDMA and it works, however, the speeds are much slower compared to LTE.
Im not even sure if I was getting LTE at all at the LTE/GSM/WCDMA setting... since the phone only diplays 3g/H+ on the signal bar, it does not say LTE.
I checked the phones status and it did say LTE:3 when i was set on LTE, however, this is when the data was not working and the phone said not connected to network.
Set it to lte in the apn section and then reset your phone.
4g symbol is Lte speed

I was having the same confusion the past couple days, I've flashed the PARANOID ROM (amazing ROM btw!!)
I found all the answers I needed for this right here:

I've been using my Nexus 7 2013 LTE for almost a year now. But since last week I've been having trouble connecting to the internet via mobile network. I have full signal, but no data connection.
At first the issue was intermittent, but now it's constant. Incidentally, sometime after I started getting problems (but during a brief period of time when I did in fact had a data connection) the device got upgraded to Android 4.4.4. Maybe the upgrade had something to do with the issue, but i'm sure that it started happening before the upgrade.
For some time I was sure that the issue was with the network. After long useless conversations with them I finally tried the sim on another device, and to my disappointment, it worked fine.
I also found out that if i change the preferred network mode to 2G, then i do get a data connection. That's not very useful.
Any thoughts?
I've been having a similar problem since the 4.4.4 update. I work in an LTE coverage area, and live in a 2G area. It transitions just fine from 2G into 3G and LTE, but then when I go back into the 2G area it drops signal entirely. Toggling airplane mode won't make it recover, but a full reboot will. After the reboot it works fine again. I'm considering trying a factory reset to see if that helps.
If I'm on a call, I always drop down from LTE to 4G as expected. However, while on a call and on 4G I can't seem to get data to work. I can't get to any websites and all my apps fail to connect to the internet. Any suggestions on why 4G would not work? I can put myself on wifi and it works just fine.
Edit: My area does have HSPA+. I've always used this fine on my other devices: Nexus 5 and OnePlus One. I just got the G3 and now am having 4G issues.

Hoping I fixed it. I created a new APN since the T-Mobile LTE was not editable. I added ipv4/ipv6, previously was only ipv6 and also stripped everything off the APN protocol line.
APN change didn't fix it. Odd. Any ideas? I'm bone stock.
I flashed the Lollipop version of Liquid Smooth on my AT&T G3 and at first everything was working fine, 4G included. After a couple of days 4G disappeared. When this happened it didn't just go to 3G, it lost all data service completely. I originally figured it was the ROM and flashed back to the previous ROM I had using the TWRP backup I made beforehand. Same story, no data service. Figured maybe it was the modem so I flashed a working G3 modem on here, same story. I flashed to a different Lollipop ROM, Resurrection, to see if that fixed anything, nope. This is the ROM I currently have installed. At this point I went and look at the mobile network options and immediately noticed 1 issue, the preferred service was 3G and not LTE. I had an option to change it to LTE but when I actually select LTE it doesn't actually switch, it just stays on 3G.
The one good thing I managed to do was switch the APN to one that worked with 3G. The APN that was originally set was "pta", I can provide the actual APN information if that'll be useful but I figure most ROMs are going to have similarly named APNs. 3G works on at least 2 of the APNs listed for this ROM, "broadband" and "wap.cingular".
I called AT&T and determined that I my 4G service wasn't cut off; not that I really thought it was anyway as that wouldn't explain why I can't even select 4G as a network type. I'm kind of at a loss as to how I just randomly lost 4G access without actually making any changes to the firmware or OS of the phone. I'm also at a loss of how I can get it back.
And I am just sitting here with 3G with speed of 2 Mbps...
No one has any ideas or advice?
So, yesterday I flashed my phone from lollipop to kitkat after a version for my phone was finally released due to a member of this community(thank you <3) and everything went smoothly and I had no hiccups during the process... but once I restarted my phone, I noticed I didn't have 1x, 3g, or 4g as a signal indicator but I had full service and I could make calls.... just no texts or data.
Any idea how to fix this? I should note I'm using nTelos.... and it's CDMA.
I can sometimes get it to connect to 3g using an APN edit in the hidden settings but after like 5 minutes it goes back to full bars and no data connectivity.
