Okay you guys i did the hard brick guide because i bricked my phone but all my files are gone do you guys know any program that can help me recover my files?
If you didn't make a backup beforehand, I'm pretty sure your data is gone.

Hi guys,
Can anyone help me with an issue. I deleted my EFS file before making a back up. Effectively making my N7100 an expensive media player.
Is it possible to recover the correct EFS file, or somehow use a workaround?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

K'mon man, don't be rude. It happens to me everytime I change to other ROM's because of that new modems. They change EFS totally. I was in a worse situation (my phone wasn't booting up), but I found an EFS backup.

I couldn't find the topic where i learned this info, but it's something like this: if you flashed the modem (i think so) and you have an EFS backup like me, you just need to flash any other thing and restore the EFS backup. But, if you don't, you must stay with the modem.
okay, i just found it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2332913
Good luck. (And press the thanks button if i've helped you :fingers-crossed

Hello XDA,
My G3 got into a bootloop and I finally resorted to flashing stock ROM in order to get the phone back again. My internal memory has been wiped. Is there any way I could recover the data without complicated procedures? I saw one on XDA, and it is too complicated for my level of tech understanding. I would sell my soul if I could, to recover the data.
A million thanks.
SO I JUST TRIED TO ROOT MY DEVICE AND I DID EVERYTHING THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE ROOT TUTORIAL PROVIDED BY THE PEOPLE OF XDA DEVELOPERS.
THREAD NAME IS .. [ROOT] TMO/VZW/ATT/SPRINT/INTL Root your LG G4 with Low Effort Root!
MY DEVICE IS HARD BRICKED AND WHEN I TRY TURNING IT ON, A SECURITY ERROR SHOWS UP AND IT SAYS AUTHENTICATION FAIL #11 ..AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS..PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEEEE! ANY KIND OF HELP WOULD BE REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS.
Phone is not hard bricked otherwise it would not turn on at all, sounds like soft-brick and needs factory resetting.
Go to here: http://www.androidexplained.com/lg-g4-how-to-boot-into-download-mode/ and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848 to get everything you require.
It will wipe your phone as factory, so hopefully you have things backed up before this occurred

Hi there.
Hope this is the right forum for this topic.
I have lost files of my Oneplus 5 with Android 8.
Does it make sense to root my phone now and then run a recovery tool? Or will there be no chance of finding anything as the phone will be wiped during the root process.
Thanks a lot
jim

I am concerned only about DATA. For that, I think, I need rooting. But I am finding it hard to root with one click root tools. Thanks!
