Hi,
Unlocked via Sony website which seemed to go fine but on rebooting I'm in a constant boot loop. Tried flashing stock D2305_18.0.A.1.30_Global Generic by Sai Arkar.ftf and C2004_15.5.A.1.5_Customized_BR_1274-5443_R3C.ftf. Both flashed fine but have not resolved the problem.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Tried to reflash it but it stppoed totally and flashmode, fastboot are not working also device can not turn on or off
Can i try to use ant other flash tool instaed of Xperia Flash Tool.
Moreover my phone i tried to reset it using soft and hard reset it's not working.

First of all, Where did you get that Custom Rom? as far as i know, M5 doesnt have custom rom yet.
Secondly, what flashtool version did you used? I think the latest flashtool is the only version where
our device works with, 0.9.20.0..

If you're using latest flashtool 0.9.20.0 so you can check xperia firm and you will find the cusom versions for xperia m5.

None of that are custom ROMs. All of them are variants of the stock Sony firmware. Also, by the symptoms you related, you tried to flash your device without using the provided .fsc script from FlashTool. Now, only a Service Center can fix your unit, it's bricked and there's nothing more you can do...
Download Flashtool for XPeria (have installer name EMMA inside)

happen to me after use flashtool for xperia 8 then ok.
I have the similar cases. It happent when MM coming to M5, but I cant upgrade mine. In this case, I think because I've root my phone. so I want to flash it. I read on thread on XDA Dev( I forget the link). I read there must allow sfc script, but I dont find how sfc script work, I cant find gow instal sfc script on the page. I think it's appear when Flash is begin. But until flashing is finish, I not find/see Sfc Script appears. When I switch it on, my phone is hard brick. When I connect to phone, just red Led notification, cant enter to flashmode. So I bring it to SSC(fu*k), because I have try every way to make it wake but not working, after 1 month, SSC notified me that my phone cant be repaired. They said must change the machine and the cost about 80% of the new ones. :crying:
sorry for my bad english.

Based off this line " No flash script found. Using 0.9.18 flash engine"
You do not have the fsc script and this could be because you
1. deleted it
2. because its an older version of flahtool
3. you flashed it when the fsc wasnt working
What date did you flash it?

You do not have the fsc script and this could be because you
1. deleted it
2. because its an older version of flahtool
3. you flashed it when the fsc wasnt working
What date did you flash it?

I just seen that too. If its only response is a red light and pc shows it as COM3 or something then so far no, only repair centre

I have talked to repair center they said that they can repair it and I have sent my device for diagnosis IF they will be able to repair it via some software repair it will be very helpful otherwise I have received a call from a person from a gaffar market (very big mobile repair market in India) and he said he can repair it via software and chance of passing are 99%.
Do you know is it possible or he just want to extract money from me

As I said before if there is no response except a red light you will need a new pcb, but I'm sure there is a way to restore it but I think you need to pull the phone apart or if someone can figure it out with one of the flash tools on the Internet, and I don't know these markets very well and what kind of people are there so that's for you to decide

Thanks a lot but just for your information after flashing the wrong firmware flashtool is detecting my phone and just showing this error : Drivers needs to be installed for this device, maybe it is just a soft brick (hopefully).
Can you tell is it hard brick or soft brick because I was watching some video on youtube and they are saying If the usb is getting recognized the device can be bring back to life using SP flash tool.
Do you have any idea for that sir

If you can put it into flashmode or fastboot and if it shows the Sony logo it's a soft brick but if the only thing that it can do is show a red led then it is hard bricked. Unfortunately I don't know what to do with sp flashtool
Still no known solution? I have the same issue...
Has anyone tried to send it to Sony? Did they charge for the repair?
I got my E5663 from a USA seller, but I suspect it was a phone made for the Indian market. Does anyone know where the phone can be sent to in India for repair...?
