Have a HTC Desire 616 stuck on boot loop. I can access boot menu and it gives me three options:
Recovery > If I select this it goes into boot loop
Normal > If I select this it goes into boot loop
Fastboot > Choosing this puts me in the fastboot prombt
My question is: I can only get a fastboot mode so is there a chance to re-flash a stock ROM onto this device? And if it is possible would you please direct me to a simple How-To?

im also facing the same problem
i have used the sp flash tool and flashed the rom in download only then also the phone stucks in the boot menu and logo is repeating please help me
My canvas a1 phone does not start. A few hours back, it was stuck on the animation logo, i did hard reset of the phone and erased all the cache as well. But yet again it was stuck on the animation logo. After 10-15 minutes the phone was off. When I tried to switch it on again, it won't start. Please help me out..

I am not sure.. In boot menu i did select the fastboot option, but all i see is all the 5 boot options and a line "=> FASTBOOT mode. . ." written at the end of those options., after selecting the Fastboot mode.. And i am not well versed with how to do all this with ADB.

that is the fastboot mode..
it is possible to reinstall the whole ROM by flashing..

so i unlocked the bootloader got the twrp image from here https://twrp.me/sony/sonyxperiaxa2.html i went into fastboot and did "fastboot boot (Filepath)TWRP.img"(i renamed the image) and now my phone wont boot its stuck in recovery i can connect to adb i can power it on but the dark screen gets slightly brighter and thats it

Hey, my G5 suddenly stopped booting. It's running the Pixel Experience and teamwin 3.2.1-0 Recovery.
System boot stops and motorola logo. Recovery boot stops at teamwin logo.
Fastboot does not work, adb works at teamwin logo. Adb recognizes the device in recovery mode.
Any Ideas what's wrong or where to start? Would love to access my data...
sdcard and external_sd foders seem to empty...

fastboot commands don't work or it will not boot to bootloader/fastboot mode?

hello you all
i was trying to flash pitch black recovery.zip while in orange fox recovery
but my device rebooted and now its stuck in an endless loop
it is trying to enter recovery mode but can't and i am not able to enter fastboot mode too...whenever i try to enter fastboot mode it just reboots..pls help
