This Was A Test To Show How Battery Is With This ROM And Certain Usage
Android Revolution HD Hasn't Crashed Since I've Used It So It's Very Stable
Performance Wise It's Decent, But The Battery Is Much Better Compared To Stock

I just got the Desire last week, and trying to get the most out of the battery as I can
I have the ROM from HERE:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=741775
I have the nexus 1 animated wallpaper ON
Screen brightness on AUTO - but timeout=30secs
animations ON
Back-ground data + auto-sync ON
`Always-on Mobile Data`-under Networks is ON
network is WCDMA ONLY - to try stop it from hopping from G 3G H E etc etc
etc.
Data roaming is OFF
Bluetooth OFF
WIFI OFF
didnt use blutooth or WIFI at all in approx 18hours of battery discharge.. for the first 10hrs approxit was idle (overnight) the was light web browsing etc, NOT wifi, just 3G browsing/sms etc
Is this any good?
when the battery is LOW i get a screen showing the battery stats but cannot find that screen when Phone is fully charged ??
cheers
You're alright, I kill mine for either 12h or less, like 6
3g browsing, few calls and some play with the ui
Auto-sync is a real battery killer. Do your updates manually or switch off network connection when you dont need it (with apndroid or similar). Idle battery usage should be about ~1% / hour.
The display(amoled) when in use uses a LOT of power. Keep it as low as possible.
Try to check from time to time if any apps you've installed has any wakelock -bugs. When the phone doesnt sleep with the screen off, the battery usage is way off, like 30-40% idle overnight vs. ~8%.
Hi,
have currently on Modaco R9 Rom on my Desire and consumed per day in standby almost 20% of the battery. Now I've tried Cyanogen7 and Oxygen RC7 and I eat at the one day the time short battery empty. When Modaco Rom is in standby, the CPU Activity from 0.5 to 1%. For the Gingerbread Rom she is hardly less than 10%. There are no apps installed ....
has anyone advice?
Sorry for my bad English
go to settings then wireless & networks after go on wifi settings then press menu after that press advanced and set wi-fi sleep policy to never its a known bug
thats what it takes to live on the bleeding edge...
mhhh .... strange
Screenshot1: MoDaCo R9 Rom. 18:30 to 19:30 in complete standby - Wifi standby off .. mobile always disabled. CPU activity in standby below 1%
Screenshot2: Cyanogenmod7. 21:20 to 21:50 in complete standby - WiFi and Mobile always disabled. CPU Activity 3 - 10%, sometimes even short-term almost 30%
Display percentage is the problem.

cool
I have the kernel ... "[KERNEL 2.6.37] vorkKernel-BFS/CFS-SIO-AXI-HAVS-OC/UV [17-Jan-11] " installed and now everything is fine!. Screenshot attached.
I can't view historical data from this app.
Here is a screenshot of standby on the night
Wifi = on
Mobile= off
it works fine....
Using ManU-2.6.35 kernel power consuption about 1mA at Flight mode on. Perfect!
Don't know how to check is phone switch to 128MHz at screen off without SetCPU.
I seem to use battery charge due to 'cell standby' even if mobile data is off. Checking 'restrict background data' under 'data usage' does reduce the drain - but not completely. The drain is about the same as 'Android system' when the device is left on but unused. What is draining the battery - and is it something I can disable or freeze?
I'm getting what i believe to be unnecessary wakelocks on my Gtab 7 (v410). I am rooted and running Better Battery Stats and Unbounce (Amplify) within Xposed.
BBS shows:
Code:
Unplugged uptime: 2d 15h 5m (drain of .9% hour)
Deep Sleep: 1d 13h (60%)
Awake: 1d 1h (40%)
Screen On: 3h
For Kernel Wakelock:
Code:
capsensor_wakeup: 16h Cnt (c/wc/ec): 38778/33/38778 (26%)
PowerManagerService.WakeLocks: 3h Cnt(c/wc/ec): 16293/997/0 (6%)
I run with airplane mode on, connected to WiFi the whole time.
Does anyone know what 'capsensor_wakeup' is? I was wondering if it had to do with the double tap to wake? I initially thought that it had to do with the Smart Cover where it unlocks when you open the cover, but i have already disabled that and rebooted a few times. It no longer unlocks when i open my case, but this wakelock still persists.
For 30 mins lost 6% after it was charged to 100% ... No wi-fi, 3g, gps, locations , bluetooth with screen off, Wifi options: never wake. Economy mode on. All syncs are off. desabled programs google drive, news & weather, google now. Screen off - Android OS: 45% Android system: 25% / Screen on - Android system - 53%, HTC blinkfeed 11% (desabled) Android OS 4% / All time: Android system 44%, Android OS - 12%. The day before was even worse but than Mediaserver was draining my battery so i removed my old microSD card and Mediaserver stoped draining my batter. Last night I charged my battery to 100% and with minimal use of wifi, 3 phone calls, instagram and 6 mins facebook messenger i lost 40% for 10 hours after that i went to sleep for 8 hours and when i woke up the battery was on 3%?
I bought the phone 3 days ago. Its my first android phone
Try this
Change your current wallpaper with HTC default wallpaper.
I have same problem and when I do this, battery draining stops.

Solved!
I actually solved the problem after disabling Google now and reboot the device. Now my battery is on 10% with 22 hours of use and the last 9 hours was heavy use of 3g or wifi..
P.S. my wallpaper was static but not the HTC default wallpaper
