[Q] Encryption and Odin

Hi,
I'm on the edge to take a leap towards encrypting my N7100 but before i do that i got question that i could not find answer. IF i have rooted rom and i encrypt my device what happens when i next time make OTA update, of course i will lost my Root for a moment, but will i be able to flash root back with odin if my internal memory is encrypted?
Also, if i got encryption in both internal and external (ext sd) memory will CWM work? Can it read system?
EDIT: Kies => Odin

[Q] Available memory after flash 20GB TTL 23GB?

Flashed slimbean via freegee/cwm. All works fine however, the available memory shows ~20GB with a total of 23GB. The 23GB is the same as what was available with the stock firmware.
Should I have increased my memory due to slimbean being much smaller than the stock?
Or is this a case of the locked bootloader and the original rom still taking up its own space and I just boot into slimbean due to loki, thus I only have the 23GB to work with to put a ROM on and apps, etc.?
Thanks.
think I figured out the issue. . .
To answer my own question, possibly. I need to format system in cwm if I want the old ROM gone, but is that ok to do on the OGP?
formating system + works
after more reading, for anyone else who is curious, I found that formatting some of the partitions is required. If you are on stock and don't format anything and install a new rom, that rom will be put in a new folder which will take away ~3GB of space. After formatting a few of the partitions the new ROM installed properly and I have back the 23.3GB of space.

flash Philz 5.15.9 the SD card mount function work only on that recovery and you will be able to mount sd card to copy your rom to sd card and don't forget if you want to intsall kit kat after copy your rom to sd card after this you must to flash latest TWRP2.7.1 or latest CWM or latest PHILZ

unable to mount /data

Hi all,
Let me start with the fact that I did something really stupid, I formated the storage in TWRP (version 2.8.0), instead of just wiping the dalvik, data and other. After that I installed the custom ROM, however the tablet would not boot, it stays at the boot animation. If I go to the TWRP, I see that the internatl storage is 0MB and it says it cannot mount \data and other files.
I tried installed other ROM as well but same thing.
Tablet is rooted.
Help me please to recover the tablet (P600)!!

Load the rom on an external sdcard, and flash from there. I usually wipe everything when flashing a new rom except for the external sd card. If that doesn't work, try booting into the odin download mode and reflash to stock firmware via ODIN. Then try flashing again.

Internal Storage Problem

Having Internal Storage Problem on Lollipop
I installed Skydragon Kitkat ROM. My mobile was alright.
But, when i installed Beatmod ROM(Lollipop) my internal storage was not showing in device.
*Not showing in any file manager apps, but i'm able to access files on a PC .
I tried restoring a Stock backup. But same problem persist.
When i Restored Kitkat(Skydragon ROM) , my device is alright...
Please anyone helpme to solve this issue. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
1. Revert back to KitKat and FULL BACKUP all of your files from you internal storage.
2. Remove Memory Card.
3. Do a FULL WIPE INCLUDING INTERNAL STORAGE.
4. Install your Lollipop ROM.
5. Boot and restore all your files from your backup.
NOTE: Use TWRP Recovery
