I bought the US version and have used it in countries outside US (India, Middle East) without problems. So I am not sure if it matters
Warranty differences. Nothing else.
What about wall chager plug? Does US version come with US type or standart EU type wall charger?
Best,
US version has US plug ( of course.....)
But who cares about that... adapters are $1....
Okay that adapter works
How about watch faces. For example should I use most common moto 360 luxury brand faces like R. Submariner, O.Semaster, T.Heuer etc.
Do these faces also compatible with Huawei watch?
If you guys who have these faces with Huawei would share some images, I will be glad.
Best,
Hello guys...
This is Huawei answer in Amazon:-
"Hello Stephen Munroe, I'd love to answer your question! Certain software updates on the U.S. and international versions of the Huawei Watch are different. For example, the Huawei Watch, featured in China, doesn't have the software update for the speaker that the U.S. Huawei Watch version has. Also, the U.S. watch comes with a 1 year U.S. manufacturers warranty while the international watch does not. (ED)"
Any experience with using the US-version in Europe?

Good question, I've just ordered the US version, I can't see why it wouldn't work here in Europe/UK though ?
I heard the US version is not IP67 certified and may not be as water resistant as the International version? Read that from a review on Amazon.
I'm using Huawei Watch US version in Asia (Pakistan) for a month now. It shouldn't be an issue because the watch doesn't have any network bands which you fear might mess up. I ordered the US version because of that speaker update which, according to Amazon Q&A, didn't land on international version. As for the IP67 certification goes, I didn't expose it to even a drop of water because I don't care if the watch is IP67 or not, speaker definitely isn't and since I'm away from US, I don't have the warranty so I can't risk it.
I was a proud owner of original Moto 360 for a year and half before this. This watch is leaps and bounds better than Moto. You're gonna love it using it and you're gonna love it when people are continuously going to compliment you because this watch is an exquisite piece of technology.

The difference in the Huawei Watch 2 international version & US is this.
Huawei did not release it's stand alone LTE version in the US, the US version lacks a sim card slot & LTE capability, it only runs on Bluetooth & WiFi & NFC.
The international version ha LTE capability, it has a sim card slot & can be used as a stand alone LTE device with it's on phone number so it doesn't need to be connected to a phone, it can run off LTE & WiFi & Bluetooth & NFC.
You're responding with comment about HW 2 to an almost 2 year old post which was about HW 1....??
Samsung rep. mentioned : "China is not affected by the sales suspension." The company said it used a battery made by another supplier for the Note 7s sold in China.
I bought this model "SM-N930FD" from Hong Kong, I'm not sure if this is imported from another country as it's not officially sold in HK yet.
Can anyone confirm if this model is safe or not? Also would be great to know the Chinese models.

Mine was bought in the US but made in China. Wonder if it will be part of the recall or not.
Canadian purchase (SD model) made in China.
why? Let Samsung complete their investigations.
I think "made in China" doesn't mean it's a Chinese model. Also FD model supports dual sim, not sure about the other models.
According to Samsung (through Yonhap: famous Korean source), they were relying on 2 battery suppliers. 1 supplier was the reason of this mess, Samsung didn't mention the name of the supplier but they said the battery is manufactured using a material that cause excessive heat when being charged. Chinese models were manufactured using the other supplier were no issues has been reported by users or Samsung. Also the company said sales wouldn't be interrupted in China.
The purpose of knowing the fine models is to avoid scams by sellers, I'm pretty sure there will be large drop on the prices of the faulty models.
SM-N930F

Mine is N930FD , made in vietnam. Bought it from Oman and csc is XSG (United Arab Emirates)
SM-N930W8

No idea if it will be recalled.
Mine is the FD model, Singapore variant. It gets warm but not hot. Requesting exchange from the seller on ebay

FD model Singapore variant as well. Requesting exchange from eBay seller as well. We will see. Not that concerned about it. Hopefully they release a list of serial numbers affected.

I have a UK N930F made in Vietnam, it's actually stone cold in comparison to my S6 it replaced.
I'm not worried about it, but if I can get a new replacement that is guaranteed not to have the problem I will take it just for peace of mind.

it's probably easier at this point and gives more user confidence rather than picking and choosing out of the millions in the wild.
Would be great if the ones made in China are exempt

Hello,
I ordered my Mi Max 3 and I'll probably get it next week so I was wondering if there's a way to know 100% if the ROM installed is official Global or fake.
Thank you

Well, most global roms are official, even 9.6.4.0 with call problems.
The right question would be: is my device official global or chinese with official global rom installed?
Official global devices have an english box with a red "Global Version" sticker on the side and locked bootloader
From posts on the forum here, and what I received, the current shipping global rom is 9.6.7.0, and the bootloader should be locked. And as stated above, the box will be English with "Global Version" stickers, and you can validate the IMEI here: https://www.mi.com/en/verify/#/en/tab/imei
I received my Global Version Mi Max 3 a couple of days ago. As others have said the box will be in English with a red Global Version sticker on it. Mine came in a polythene sealed box and came with an original 3 pin charger in the box.

Hello folks
I was wondering whether there is a way to obtain a 512GB Pixel 6 Pro in the EU (specifically Germany) - apparently for the time being Google only sells 256GB max which is a bit short for my preferences...
For Chinese phones I know of some shops that sell those internationally but I have no clue for Google phones
Thanks for any hints, with kind regards,
Axel

As far as I know, all European sellers max out at 256 GB, so if you want to buy the 512 GB model, you need to buy it directly in a Non-European store (USA, Australia, Japan) that sells the 512 GB version and then use a forwarding service to get the device to you - mind though, that you will have to pay customs and taxes on top of that.

Thanks for your reply, thought so as well.... I guess it depends on what is the final cost for the whole procedure, maybe waiting if Google changes their mind for EU markets is a viable option as well....
For the time being I got a 256GB version, I'm just concerned that in the long run it won't be sufficient....

I definitely agree that mine is a luxury "problem" and in fact I was just curious because I saw people mentioning that they got a 512GB version....
Honestly speaking I'm a bit unhappy with the distribution strategy, but at the same time I understand that this may come from the current availability issues of electronic components - so I guess a bit of patience is needed

Yeah, unfortunately, that's the probably the main reason.
Although, in France, manufacturers are required by law to ship their phones with earbuds. My P6P came in a bigger box with cheap USB C earbuds included in the outer box.
But this will change soon so hopefully, we'll have more choice for the next Pixel!
Just to bring up this old thread with the same old question :
I am still very much interested in obtaining an unlocked Pixel 6 Pro with 512GB Flash, so maybe somebody here has a hint on how to accomplish this - sadly there are still no 512GB version on EU stores....
Thanks, cheers,
Axel
The only way is to import one from US, 512 Gb is available only in black, and warranty will not be valid in EU.
You'll get the mmWave antenna working, but you'll not be able to cennect to BeiDou satellites in China.

I have no idea, unfortunately. I don't live in Europe, but I was Googling to see if I could find an answer for you. I didn't have any luck but this Reddit thread seems to be the most recent (two months ago) with a potential solution, although probably not as nice as it could be.
Please let us know if you have any luck. I've asked the Reddit poster if he had any luck, so you might want to monitor that post for an answer. (And someone had downvoted them just for asking. What the heck?)

Would T-Mobile locked phone work with Slovak T-Mobile sim card?
Can you please clarify:
Where ( region/country) are you intending to use the phone. It feels like it's going to be in the country the SIM is from, is that right?
I ask as it maybe easier and less headache to convert the phone to a different region.
Im sure someone with my more knowledge and experience maybe able to help you more than it have.
I want use it in Slovakia with Slovak sim card.
If T-Mobile is your carrier in Slovakia, then yes it will work. You can verify this at a T-Mobile store just to make sure with the added assurance!
Seller from AliExpress said everything works perfect no problem don't vory and guy from TMobile Slovakia said we don't know but better buy phone from us

Only problem with buying from AliExpress, you can't be 100% sure that you will get what is described on the website. I have heard from some in these forums ordering from different websites that what they actually got was different from what was described. So yes, ordering from TMO would be best, but one way or another with the support of everyone here in XDA, you should be OK either way.

its ok. in EU always from oneplus.com.
1. In Slovakia we don't have offers like in USA. 2. I don't pay 1000€ for phone. 3. I buyed 4 phones from AliExpress without any problems, 1Poco 2Xiaomi and 1 OnePlus 6 that I use fourth year till now. 4. With this OnePlus 9 pro's is the biggest problem that people don't read full description and then are surprised when they become TMobile USA locked phone. 5. Mi question was would this phone work with Slovak sim card?
If you genuinely trust the buyer and that you're 100% confident you're going to receive a genuine TMO (le2127), then the choice is yours.
I feel that people are saying it maybe beneficial for you to buy directly OnePlus 9 Pro (EU) LE2123 (Global), LE2121 (India), LE2120(China)
As there could be a chance the seller has bought the phone from another region and converted it to TMO.
All I'm saying is be confident, ask for a picture of the box ( IMEI scrubbed out ), look for the phone model number, ask for a clear photo of the back of the phone, look for the model number at the back near the base of the phone.
The other benefit if you buying direct from OnePlus is you get a full 3 years warranty.
I agree with AndyC76, otherwise the phone should work with Slovakia TMO SIM card on TMO service.

I ordered new OnePlus 9 12/256 from TradingShenzen... But they sent a badly refurbished one with no original battery cover and also the camera lens was out of the phone when I opened the box.. Also, other lenses had fingerprints on lenses from the inside. Buy it from oneplus site or for example, I bought OP 9 pro 8/128GB from here in Slovakia for 467€ from nay...
