I have just bought yu yureka+ from flipkart, it surprisingly came with stock android 5.1 with volte support which wasn't advertised which is good but I am not able to unlock boot loader of this device.
Does anyone know how to unlock bootloader of this variant?
I want to flash cyanogen os 12.1 can I do that without unlocking bootloader?
Will other variants ROMs,kernels support this variant?
Please do reply.Does anyone else got this variant?
....
It is shame really people reading and not replying, is there no one with same variant
This is new variant of YU+ with stock 5.1 with Volte . You have to wait as currently nobody had figured out about it's bootloader unlocking becoz maybe Devs don't have that variant of device in their hands to test for now.

Hey guys , i recently purchased a LG G3 D851 T-Mobile Unlocked , Unlocked Means that in country like Pakistan , It Is Compatible with all 4G networks and works flawlessly , i was wondering if i can install D855's Custom roms on this phone ? Is it possible ?
@dukesx, No you cannot. Or shouldn't. Internally the two models are quite different. Don't risk screwing up your phone.
D851 has an unlocked bootloader. It is not network/carrier unlocked.

Install TWRP from here:
https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxynote4exynosduos.html
Then flash SuperSU.

Hmmmmm this is forum cover the samsung galaxy note 4 and its various varients. Never heard of the 9100 (all varients have been 910 not 9100)but if your gonna root it and it is a note 4 go back to 5.1.1 and attempt root and unlock procedure. The version of the unlock file is dependent upon varient and I've never heard of yours. The possibility that its one of the exynos board note 4s pops to mind and I would caution you if that is the case do not attempt to unlock via this exploit or its bye bye phone.

I've finally managed to build it from a pure omni device tree borrowed heavily from _mone's trlte twrp device tree. Chinese variant users: please test it as thoroughly as you can, including backing up and restoring with and without encryption. If it works, _mone will push it for official support.
I have an N9100 -- it's the dual sim Chinese/Hong Kong variant. The China Telecom version has no GAPPS. The Hong Kong edition ships in English and does have GAPPS baked in.
Neither has a locked bootloader or any other tricky security stuff..
Just wondering if it's possible to flash a different ROM variant on the Honor 7x. I have a US variant (BND-L24) and it's bricked. There is no stock rom for it as yet so want to try either the BND-L22 / BND-AL10. Will this work?
I have the same doubt

It won't support the network bands in your Region but I think other software features might work . I'm not sure though
I would just wait it out. Honor US customer service says mid-March release for firmware, so it should be dropping any day now.
Hey guys, i'm about to buy an Moto Z2 Force for a good price, but i have a doubt, the model number is the Xt1789-04 from at&t, so i was watching some post here about the phone and theres another z2 force with the same model number, the Tmobile and another model, the Xt1789-05 global, i'm the kind of person who love flashing things, roms, kernels, so i can flash roms, kernels, gsi roms and others with the at&t variant or i will be limited to keep the stock?

ATT and TMO are both -04 but only the TMO is bootloader unlockable, not the ATT. However, both are stuck on oreo, no official pie, but there are pie roms for the TMO.
The -05 is bootloader unlockable and has pie officially, plus can run roms.

Right. As of now there is no known way to unlock the bootloader of an ATT model.

Hello everyone
I have a Galaxy Notee 10plus sm - 975U a spectrum remembere when I bough it the firmware was sm-975U1 afterot OTA softwar update it change to N975U .
Idon't know much about bootloader and unlocking it but I think that it is unlocked cuz iam living in yemen and the sim card that iam using is cdma and the phone work fine with it
iam wondering if it possible to flash a U1 firmware ( the universal one) and how to check if the bootloader is unlocked or not
Personally if it's on Android 10 and running well I leave it alone and disable OTA updates. Android 11 will screw it up.
The bootloader is locked.
I just bought one new and it's running on Q and there it will stay. It runs maybe a little snappier than my other one loaded with Pie.
thanks you for ur time and repling
