Also found flesky... Just not sure what one is better... I like to see the buttons and Fleksy doesn't show then...

Chrooma has been my go to keyboard for a few phones. Very customisable, cloud sync and material design. And swipe if that's your thing.

I like Swype for years

I miss the number row on Swiftkey, but I like the gif menu on the Google keyboard too much lol

Previous track on the notification bar/ music widget?

I still don't get why Google decided to leave the previous track button out of the notification bar and also out of the music widget, do they think that we only skip tracks and don't like to repeat them? Is there a way to get the previous button on the notification bar/widget? I find myself
Constantly opening the app which destroys the whole point of having a quick access to it :/

Always wondered why they chose to do this too. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

Give widgetsoid a try. You can make notification bar widgets with it.

Download the CM9 music app. There's options to customize the buttons and look of the notification bar music interface.

Power amp does have a repeat and shuffle button. You have to enable it.
...of the people, by the people, for the people...
The previous track button shows up in the notification bar when you're in landscape mode.
That does not make any sense at all. Google, gooogle..
If it works in landscape, then it is likely a layout bug.

But its not the stock music app I really like Google music, I was disappointed by the low quality of the images on the Apollo music app

New ROM which Launcher

So I am loading new ROM. I have used ADW for years and like it. Is it time to change since I am going to format my SD-Card and REALLY start clean?
My only wish over what I had was something that added the Google Buttons to the bottom of the Touch Screen so I could press Menu|Home|Back with the S-Pen (Mirror Capacitive Buttons). But thats only a dream.
I love Go Launcher. Simple. Easy. Lots of support (too many updates though haha)
Been using it since my SII and not on my Note II :good:
Try next launcher

My vote was nova.I try diffrent launchers but keep coming back to nova.
I switch between a lot of launchers and go launcher seems to have the most options out there but I do use nova sometimes because its always smooth and never any problems.
You should check out lightning launcher. Very customizable and different from most others.

There is a thread around. That has a mod to get the buttons you are talking about, no launcher needed

are there any themes for s2 tab? I don't want to use a new launcher, I just want to change the theme like we can in cyanogenmod.

Launchers

I was wondering which launcher people were using on this tablet. I am currently using Apex Pro. I like being able to customize the dock. I have thought about trying a 3d launcher like Next Launcher.
Im using Smart launcher pro 3 with touch theme and bottom slider lockscreen. Love it^^
Nova launcher with stealth icon pack.
TSF Launcher is otherworldly! It's so good. It's the 1st thing I put on a new device.

Nexus launcher here
Just checked out the Play Store page on this. So is it really that good? It looks amazing but for some reason I am skeptical. If it is as really as cool as it looks I am putting it on everything.

It's absolutely that good! But you have to play with it and make it your own. So many options to customize. Even with all the nice animations, it runs so smoothly. I won't use anything else. The key is learning all the options and gestures. Making it the way you like it. It's crazy I paid $14 for it when it was introduced years ago. The developers have optimized it to perfection over time.
Can you import layouts from other launchers?

Nova launcher/Pixel launcher

I followed the instructions and my Nova launcher looks and feels like a pixel. With one exception and that is the calendar/Weather widget thing on top. I can only get the calendar working. Does anyone have a work around to get the calendar/weather both working?
