So I only had this phone for one day and just noticed a dead pixel on my pixel XL. Anyone else? Cheap display or one in a million defective device?
It's the bright dot just left of the three dots menu button.
Update: Contact Google Support, they couldn't help since I bought the device from Best Buy. Exchanged the device at Best Buy with no issues and haven't seen any dead pixels on the new one.
Looks like a dead pixel alright, a good friend of mine has a dead pixel too, regular pixel not XL

Hi guys, today i noticed something while scrolling on my tablet. A reddish smudge on the screen, even when i rotate the screen it's in the same spot, but only it seems that that part of the screen has started showing black as red. Do you have any experience with this?

Thats a permanent damage to the backlight plate. No fix for it sorry.
Use your warranty before it expires. That's exactly what mine did, except it was 4 pink dots. Warrantied and got a brand new one, without the touchscreen problems that the previous one had.
I have same problem but I bought in MELBOURNE last September therefore no chance for replacement. ⊙▽⊙

this isn't normal and it seems to be an hardware issue inside the lense. maybe there is a faulty charge as at least two are effected already.
I'd return it and ask for a new one.
Oh.. i already returned one, but what can i do thanks for help

I woke up this morning and the right side of my screen isn't working. It is extremely unresponsive. It still registers touch but the device isn't pushing the pixels (ironic isn't it). It seems to be a hardware issue even though I pray it's not. When I tap the tablet it updates the pixels. Has anyone experienced this? I've added pictures below.

Search for split sccreen on lg devices. I belive it is known there - definitely hardware and RMA.
I had this on my pixel c. There were cases on some lg phones a few years back. It's hardware. The only resolution is to RMA it.
Ever since I updated to X on Verizon I have been getting battery stats like this. It's always red now at my house and I assure you it wasn't that way until the update. Weird things spans of time where it looks like my phone wasn't even on when it was. Just weird stuff. Anyone else?

Oh and here is another issue that has shown its face. Randomly the time will jump ahead 5 hours. This literally just happened. But it is random. It's 2:30 but it shows 7:30

Please see the response and link UAG provided to me when I requested they make a couple variants of the Pixel 3 XL when it launches.
I asked for:
- Monarch in red
- Plasma in Ice
- Pathfinder in the new camo
Please do the same! They say the community drives the creation...

Nice cases, but US$40. You can get a wicked Spigen Case for half that.
I love the UAG case. I am in. You got my vote.
