If you ever want to get your hands on a UAG case... - HTC 10 Accessories

I absolutely love UAG cases. I had one on my retired HTC One M7 and wish it was available for every phone. I'm hoping that if people bug the heck out of UAG, they just might decide to make a case for the HTC 10. Please take a few minutes and tell them you want them to offer an option for the HTC 10!
https://urbanarmorgear.com/pages/uag-labs

I wouldn't get your hopes up, I've never seen them produce a case for a phone they never initially supported.

If you're looking for something similar, try this:
https://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Full-body-Holster-Protector-Release/dp/B01EB97YRW
Supcase has been my go-to casemaker for 2 years now.

I wouldn't compare that Suppose to UAG because it's much more bulky and closer to an interior. Supcase has been my favorite since the time I had my Nexus 5 and UAG didn't make a case for it, but this is the first time Supcase didn't make the beetle hybrid for a phone they support. The beetle hybrid is much better than the UAG case and the Beetle Pro.

Most durable one case?

I am looking for a tough case for my htc one. yes i understand its a beautiful phone and not dropping it or beating on it is a better option but my job can occasionally be really tough on my devices. I was never a fan of otter boxes but it seems to be the only option unless anyone else knows of a nice tough case.

Case-Mate was my best friend when I had my S2. Otherwise, the otterbox commuter is pretty good too (i've already dropped my H1 and nothing happened )
Otherwise, UAG: http://www.urbanarmorgear.com/collections/htc-one/products/navigator-1
I dont have any experience with it so...check out the other thread.
I think most people are just going to point to Otterbox Defender/Commuter, or Urban Armour Gear

I have the Otterbox defender. It seems to be really tough, and is convenient to use. It is very hard to remove the phone once you snap it closed, and I recommend a screen protector on the phone itself, because the one built into the Defender has some room at the bottom that can let dust in.

Trident Case makes a nice case for the One that is similar to the commuter series of the Otterbox. Also Ballistic is coming out with a few cases for the One. Their cases will compare to the defender and commuter series for the Otterbox.
Otterbox would be the way to go, have the commuter and it's slimmer than the defender but still lots of protection
I think I might get the commuter, the urban armor gear looks cool but i need a case soon and not sure when I can get one of those. thanks for the suggestions. The comuter case doesn't block the ir blaster does it?

Amazon also has the trident kraken series (their comparable case to the Otterbox Defender), slated to ship in 2-4 weeks. In addition to that, Seidio has their ultra heavy duty Convert series for the Htc One.

I purchased the commuter and I'm satisfied because it's not as bulky as the defender.I paid 30 dollars flat when I went to a sprint store and just asked for a discount lol

Trident
Otterbox
Casemate
Urban Armour Gear
These, all been said, seem to be the top tier for protection. I had a Casemate on my SNS and I've dropped it plenty with no issues. But, I have a Otterbox commuter on order for my One.
Actually, I forgot a really good one. It is from Tough-As-Nuts. I had one for a phone some years ago. The leather is really strong, and the phone form-fits to the pouch. It is a bit pricy. I have not tried this for the HTC one, but it is a great design and affords excellent protection.

I bought a casemate case today but wondering if I should get the Otterbox Commuter as well or not?
On the case of Otterbox vs Trident choose Otterbox. Trident looks sexier but Otterbox has the best/easiest warranty I have ever dealt with.
I currently have the casemate tough case and I like it a lot. Only downside I see is that the cutout for the camera is way larger than it needs to be and may the the plastic lens vulnerable.
Looking at the urban armor gear website, I really like the design. Trying to gauge how large the case is without holding it is hard though. I may pick one up when they become available.

I have the Speck candyshell grip. Feels real good, kind of slim, and has good protection.

[Q] Best case?

I bought the Nexus 5 and it's amazing. I've already got a screen protector but now I'm still looking for the right case. My first choice was the official bumper case but that isn't an option anymore because it isn't only unavailable at the moment, but most of the people also say it starts to peel off very quickly. So I kept looking for a case that could satisfy my needs. I want to have a good-looking case that delivers the protection the N5 needs, but doesn't add too much bulk so it wouldn't look like some kind of dragon. I also want to mention that I'm not looking for any kind of flip cover because a phone is a phone and not a book.
So after some research I've come down to 2 cases that both give a good impression. Spigen Case Slim Armor and Spigen Case Neo Hybrid. They both have a fairly good reputation so I really can't decide which one to get. I also don't really know the difference. I guess they are the same in thickness. The Slim Armor one probably has better protection and from what I've read isn't as slippery as the Neo Hybrid one, but that case probably also has nice features.
Which one should I get? Or are there better cases available? Thanks in advance!

I have bought like a whole load of cases and found that my favorite case is a simple TPU case like Distronic's cases (I like the black one, the white/clear/frosted design gets discolored over time) they don't make the phone overly bulky, provide pretty good drop protection and are pretty cheap. I have owned Spigen's slim armor and the slim armor with the flip cover and while they are great cases they made the phone a little more chunky than I liked.

Also came here to recommend the Diztronic TPU... I have the black one and its my favorite. Have tried quite a few cases as well, although never had a spigen

+1 for diztronic
It adds fairly good protection but less bulk than most cases(not counting hard shells). Buttons are easy to press and it looks and feels good. It's cheap too!
I've also had spigen neo hybrid but found it too bulky and slippery. Buttons and looks were nice tho.
Btw clear diztronic is out of stock and they dont sell it anymore.
I'd stay away from hard cases such as the ringke slim or spigen hard crystal shell as they scratched up my phone
+1 for soft
Go with the slim armor. One of the best cases I've had, and I've had A LOT of cases. Its a lot more comfortable to hold over the neo hybrid.

My favorite case by far is the Magpul Field. https://store.magpul.com/product/MAG474/cases
Magpul looks awesome dude. Not those clear backs. My ringke got scratched up real bad. Neo hybrid looks decent, in fact I'm getting it. Considering a diztronic as well. I-blason is decent too.
I haven't got the specific Spigen cases you're interested in but I do have the Spigen ultra fit and ultra hybrid. I have been using both cases for the past year (the ultra fit mostly because it doesn't add as much bulk as the ultra hybrid) and both are very good cases that I like. However, I recently ordered the Diztronic case and I'm waiting for it to arrive. The reason is I recently used my previous phone with a Diztronic case and it reminded me that I generally prefer good quality TPU cases more. So I decided I may as well get a Diztronic case for my Nexus 5. As you may see, I agree with the others in recommending the Diztronic case.
I have the Spigen Case Slim Armor, a Tech21 case, and a TPU case, I prefer the Tech21, as a matter of fact I dropped my phone just the other day, and it landed flat on it's back, I thought for sure the screen would be shattered, but nope, all is well.
The Tech21 seems to have more of an "Air cushion" between the case and back of the phone.

Well, I have a pretty cheap one at the moment, this one (it's indeed not a very pretty one). The case barely adds any bulk but it doesn't give the safest feeling. I'm protected for any scratches but I don't think these kind of cases absorb impact very well, so I'll probably still go for something chunkier but then I'll at least know I'm pretty safe.

From what I've read the Neo Hybrid is a bit overrated and doesn't feel very good in the hand. So yeah, I'll probably get the Slim Armor one.

These cases are probably really well-made but I don't think they protect that good if you compare it to the bulkier cases, definitely not against drops.

I felt like that too until this convinced me that a TPU case is good enough.

I love them too. Very good feel in hand. I don't know it until I bought one. I know the Official one now unavailable but still we have a lots high quality one in eBay. Not OEM, but still very good (even similar if you ask me)
I'm using spigen case
i get it for free from Nexus gift pack
It's nice, and it feels like the original back of nexus
Had both the Neo Hybrid and the Slim Armor and prefer the Neo Hybrid.
I found that in comparison to the Neo Hybrid, the Slim Armor added too much bulk to the phone. The back of the NH feels better (rubber, a bit like the original back of the phone) while the back of the SA is more slippery (metal). The buttons on the SA required too much force to press and you don't really feel any feedback while pressing.
The only reason I would choose the SA over the NH is for the extra protection, but for me the NH offers more than enough protection (dropped it a few of times indoor and outdoor, only some minor scruffs on the corners of the case).
Didn't Spigen used to sell just the outer band for the neo hybrid? That way you can have a few different colors if you like

I Wanna Buy a Case - recommend me some

I was a fan of that Spigen case that everyone raves about, but my nexus 5 is a dinosaur and Spigen doesn't sell them anymore. Checked eBay too
Which cases are you using? I wanna buy one.
I don't use cases anymore, currently have it naked
I do have two, though. Spigen Slim Armor and Spigen Neo Hybrid. I found one here for the Neo: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Spigen-Neo-Hybrid-Case-SERIES-for-Google-Nexus-5-/261317712822
I'm using Spiegen Slimarmor. It helped a lot my phone
I use this one: Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit TPU Case Compatible for Nexus 5 - Bluej
I really love Ringke slim. it fits perfectly.
I have really liked the SPIGEN Ultra Fit case. It is very slim and the plastic is very tough without being brittle. I use the black one and it has a matte finish similar to the matte finish of the Nexus 5 itself.
Ballistic cases for the nexus 5 are still available at a lot of cell carriers in Canada. I use a skin myself, my partner uses a grey and black ballistic I just bought her new last week at my local Koodo kiosk
Best case Fusion
I dropped my phone several times and still works,no cracks!
Also it feels really good.

I always go back to Diztronic.

I bought 3 cases for my xl 2, and although the other two were nice cases, they weren't diztronic cases. The first one i bought was this ringke case, and it was a pretty solid case, though it was a little slippery and the texture on the back meant my popsocket wouldn't stick to the phone. The second one i bought is this one by a chinese company called x-level, it was a really interesting super thin tpu case, and was nice but didn't have a lip to protect the screen and was a little too thin for my liking(and my popsocket didn't stick to it well either).
After trying these two and them not working out, I did what I always do, I ordered a diztronic case which I received yesterday and it is perfect, just like every one I've had previous(Nexus 6, 6p, xl 1). Diztronic and Cruzerlite were the only companies I trusted with tpu cases and I used to swap between the two throughout the year, and now that Cruzerlite is gone, looks like my first and only choice from now on will be Diztronic, and you know what? I'm perfectly okay with that. Honestly, they are one of the best case manufacturers out there, consistently great products at a great price. The only thing I could complain about is the looks of their cases are a bit bland but I'm just accepting that functionality is more important.
I bought a diztronic case for my Shamu which I still carry on me and the only time it wasn't in the case was just to clean it every once in a while. I'm probably going to buy one for my pixel but just waiting to see if they come out with another variant with more corner protection.

i love super slim cases.

I swear by Diztronic. Put them on all my phones and recommend to everyone. I've won over a bunch of friends and coworkers who were stuck with crappy, ugly cases.
Yeah, I want to see some photos with the device.
Especially the thinnest side of it.
How is the grippy feeling? good grip?
DO you guys know if popsockets stick to the diztronic cases?
this probably doesn't apply for users of clear cases, but i used to swear by diztronic until i found caseology - much better build, fit, and drop protection while still remaining slim

Holster for Spigen Case

Hey, so I just pulled the trigger on a Pixel 2 XL, and I'm really excited to get the phone (just shipped). My 6P battery has been dying a slow death that has quickly accelerated to shutting off 8-10 times a day, so I figured it was time, which is a bummer. I liked the phone, but it is only 14 months old
I am case shopping, and I realize there are a few options for holsters and case combos, but I am looking for a bit bigger tough case that will take the bumps and bruises of construction work, but a holster is a must. Last case I put on my 6P was a Unicorn beetle pro (with holster) though I'm not sure I want the same case. I'm eyeballing a Spigen Tough Armor in gray, but was wondering if anyone has one, as well as a different holster that they wouldn't mind trying together?
I recall reading another thread where a member with a Caseology case fit the 6P Supcase holster, but was too small for the Supcase XL 2 Holster.
Any other recommendations for mismatched case/holster combos would be appreciated, as well as recommendations for a good though case.
Thanks, Everett

Hello @Everett529
I have several holsters for all my other devices by Encased. LOVE their holsters that are designed for many different cases. They are my go to brand. I have not ordered my Pixel 2 XL yet but when I do I plan on ordering Encased holsters at the same time.
Did you find something that works for your needs? Just curious what you may be using.

Hey Namolas,
I ended up just getting a unicorn beetle for now, holster has been every bit as good as the 6P version, case has been solid. Waiting to order a Spigen until I decide on a TGSP. I'll take another look at Encased yet, I've no doubt they're high quality, I just prefer a larger case for a bit of extra protection mostly due to my job.
Thanks,
Everett
Good to know! May try that holster...
