Try actually reading... reading again and reading up yet again, on what you need to do! Take some time out and learn for yourself, instead of just blindly asking to be spoonfed a solution..
Hi guys,
2 Questions about XPosed:
1) Does it run normally on the common factory images?
2) Is there any version that also runs on the N developer Preview?
Thanks for your replies!
1. Works fine on MM for me, though I only use gravity box
2. I don't think so. Sorry.
I am on current stock MM for last 3 versions, I follow the rooting guide then install xposed works fine.
I not touched N yet
ThereĀ“s no xposed framework for Android N available yet.
Hi mate,
As I can read in the forums Xposed is working properly on Pixel C, you have a bit more info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-c/general/list-android-mods-recoveries-mods-pixel-t3291934 and no Xposed for Android N yet, too soon for that imho.
Also if you want to try Xposed, you have the official link here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
We should download the SDK23 arm64 for 6.0.1 and our Pixel C: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/
I try Xposed myslef after work.
Hope this help you a bit.
Hi again mates,
Xposed is installed and working flawlessly, atm I only install the following modules:
ChromePie-Test in progress
GravityBox-OK
YouTube AdAway_OK
YouTube Background Playback-OK
What modules are you using guys?
What version of Xposed Framework installer to use Elephone S7 CPU MTK Helio X25? I can not run the Xposed framework. An error message pops up - SDK 23 is not compatible with your processor architecture arm64-V8A. According to information Aida64 is the Android phone 6 64bit SDK23. Does anyone have the same problems?
Can anyone advise how to deploy Xposed?
edit unavix - this is the solution to my problems:
The problem I have managed to solve. I had to reinstall the rom. I used factory 10012017 rom download here - http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-12895-1-1.html#.WIDWBFXhBaQ (ROM is suitable for the x20 and x25 CPU)
In the folder with the rom I changed recovery.img. I used TWRP from jemmini - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70600646&postcount=13
And of course twrp flash SuperSU.
Then restart your phone. Then back to twrp, flash SDK 23 to 87 arm64 version here - http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/
Restart the phone. Install Xposed Installer 3.1.1 apk. Again restart the phone. Then download modules, installation and setup.
Now everything works as it should.
Excuse my bad English.

The latest apk detects and will install the relevant version
Sent from my Redmi Note 2 using Tapatalk
I solved the problem. My repair procedure is written in the first post.
I have the Xposed framework and gravitybox annoying trouble. The phone is heated, mows the music player, sound falls, freezes the display to unlock fingerprint. I had to uninstall everything. When the phone is not Xposed gravitybox and so everything is fine. I tried to use the gorkmod, but it does not help.
Does anyone have such a problem?
Okay, so i have a really strange situation.
First, i try the unofficial xposed (v. 87), and installed some module like gravitybox etc. The module is work correctly, even with some performance degradation on my device. There's lag everywhere, but i expect this bcoz of a "Alpha" and "unofficial" tag.
Then, i try the new xposed v.88 and 88.1 that officially launched, but i only have installled xposed framework with no installed module. I mean, yes, i still have checked my module in xposed framework, but when i open gb, its say, no xposed activate etc. Same problem with other module, so I don't think is was a module problem.
My device is Asus Z00T (Zenfone Selfie variant), running at Final RRN.
Plz help me...

I don't have your device and the following is the discussion thread regarding XPosed for Nougat...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3685687
With that stated...
Typically, since the Official XPosed for Nougat is fairly recent, many of the modules are not yet updated for compatibility on the Nougat for various reasons.
If you have the XPosed Framework installed and the Framework reflects as being active within the XPosed Installer app, then it's extremely unlikely that it's XPosed that's not working but, the specific Module itself.
Your best bet is to post this issue on the Modules thread for the Module Support.
To be honest, I'm not in a hurry to install the Nougat ROM until I know for sure that the few modules i do use are updated for Nougat Compatibility.
That's the best, i believe, anyone can really help you out at this point of time.
Good Luck!

Quite many people ignore the fact that they have to use the new official Xposed Installer app v3.1.2 as it has all the new bits required for Nougat compatibility.

And there are two versions, one for the regular system install (3.1.2, available in the @rovo89 thread), and one for running Xposed under Magisk (3.1.2_Magisk, available in the @topjohnwu thread).
If you use Xposed v88 or later, you have to use one of these installers, and the right one for your Xposed installation.

Just to add to your comment that The Material Design XPosed Installer app (released 09-09-2017) by @DVDandroid appears to be working well too.
I do know that it's actively being updated for a small compatibility tweak for a few devices too.
I wish that @rovo89 updates the following XPosed Installer Repository soon with the updated Installer.

Absolutely my friend!
There's also too many members who has a module that isn't yet compatible with the Nougat and then XPosed itself is being blamed.
Even the members who were impatient and began using the Unofficial Framework then has issues when trying to install the Official Framework then points the finger to Rovo89.
I'm surprised that the developers of the modules aren't clarifying this on their end too.

Thanks for the responce
Okaaay, i know, there's many of the module just doesn't work now.
But wait. I say, it's work in the unofficial port, right? Gravitybox (N), Universal Clipboard, etc. It's work greatly.
The problem now is, none of that module work since i update to official xposed (either 88 or 88.1)
Magisk xposed isn't work at all, so I'm using the system installer. Btw, after i reinstall the unofficial 87, the module is work again.

Did you read us?
For realz?
When you go from Xposed 88 or 88.1 to 87.x, or the other way around, you need to change the Xposed Installer.

Suuuure, but are you switching from 3.1.2 to 3.1.2-magisk when going from official Xposed to Magisk Xposed?
There are v88-compatible versions, v87-compatible versions, official Xposed versions and systemless Xposed versions.
That's 4 different versions of the Xposed Installer.
If you use the wrong one, it won't work.

I completely agree with you on this.
Even those who were using the Unofficial releases and then installing the official ones over it has been giving issues too.
I didn't use any of the Unofficial releases and was just patiently awaiting the official ones from Rovo89.

I am unable to use any modules in Xposed even though the installer show that Xposed is installed and activated.
Both 88 and 88.1 does not work, all the modules seem to detect that they are not activated in the installer even though they are activated.
Rebooted and the problem persists.

Hi guys,
I bought a Oneplus 7T and it's my first Android device. I successfully rooted my device and now I'm testing it to see if it fits my needs.
I'm quite spoiled from my iPhone with Jailbreak. App quality is excelent and there are thousend of tweaks which I can install over Cydia.
Is there anything similar on Android like Instagram++, Watusi etc.? I don't like to see all the ads in the app between stories or constantly after a few minutes on youtube.
I can get rid of this all on my iPhone but not on Android.
I also have AdAway with some hosts files downloaded but they don't work inside an app.
Hope you guys have some tips for me

You'll most likely want to install Xposed Framework through the Magisk Modules (I'm assuming that's what you used for root). Xposed Framework has a number of modules that I think you'd be using (very similar to Cydia).
Unclutter IG is an example xposed module.

How is the Xposed scene now adays? Do a lot of the old modules work on the latest version?
