I was just changing a setting in framework-res and finished , however when i copied it to the phone , the phone suddenly rebooted and got stuck in a bootloop. BUT my power on/off button is broken so I need a way to either access the recovery through a command or any other way , or to find a zip file that is flashable in download mode , since i can access download mode in a way i discovered.
PLEASE HELP ME

Hey guys,
my volume down key is broken and my phone is always booting into safe mode. I tried to disable my volume keys via /system but I can't open the directory anyways because I can't start a app which would allow me to do it. I can go into download mode but can't start in recovery. Phone is rooted and I wanted to save my data before resetting, but my phone is struggling to save anything. I also tired to open my system folder via my PC, but since I haven't BusyBox installed, I see no possibility to get it working.
Hope someone haves an idea.

So i had a cracked screen, ordered a new one of aliexpress. Exchanged it, turned on the phone and got the boot loop.
I read that exchanging the screen acts like a new hardware ID and this is why i get the LOOP.
So i wanted to turn off the cores:
- installed drivers from LG.com
- used original cable
I hold the volume up button, plug the phone and still get to the boot loop. No download mode. How could my download mode be erased if i changed the screen?
I also sent the phone into warranty but they said because i exchanged the screen they will not fix the boot loop!!! LG are a bunch of assholes but that is a story for another time.
If you can think of something regarding to how i can get into Download Mode, please let me know
Thank you
UPDATE: I changed the cable and now the download mode icon appears and after 3 seconds the phone resets and download mode appears again (if i keep pressing vol up) and so on.. It does not actually enter the download mode.
is there any way to force bootloop???? with a kdz file or changing something with root permision ??? i need to send my phone to the SAT
Hi,
My phone : ZE550ML
When I tried to update the TWRP recovery I installed .img file then everything collapsed.
My phone was only booting in bootloader, even if I chose normal boot.
I tried to install another .img file and since my phone doesn't want to do anything. No asus logo, no usb logo, no color nothing.
When I press power button nothing happen however how long I press even with volume button.
I charged it for a day long then I tried like a lot of times this procedure : http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-brick-soft-hard-bricked-zenfone-2-t3284256 .
(Surprisingly when I connect my phone to my computer sometimes the xfstk software recognize it)
But I always get : FW+OS download did not complete because of limit reconnecting to device attempt number reached.
Does someone have any idea ?
Hi
I just get my galaxy a5 from my bro, first thing it boot always in safe mode, I searched i found that my volume down is always stuck so it keep booting in safe mode.
I opened my phone, I tested the button with a tester, they work properly so I concluded that the problem is in the motherboard.
So I wanne to root my phone to get a tools to bypass that, I put the phone with ADB to download mode ( only way to do it) , with odin I have selected the root file TWRP_3.1.1-0_a5y17lte to the wrong case BL,
Now the phone stuck in bootloop and I can't flash it again with odin cause I no access to download mode.
I can go to download mode with Home+Power but can't continue with volume UP.
I need your help my probleme if there is a solution for me.

Hi folks,
I just wanted to do my regular Firmware update with Odin, but the device got disconnected while flashing the files. I was able to reflash everything with the device properly connected. But after rebooting I am now stuck in a bootloop with TWRP loading up for only one second and then disappearing and then all over again.
I can only reboot the phone with Volume up + Power but how can I turn it off completely so I can maybe get into Download mode again? And if so, what should I do from there? I am not able to boot into revovery and am really lost now.
Thanks so much for your help!
I just found the culprit: I flashed EUL6 (via Frija) but this is Android 12 and TWRP won't handle that. I was able to reboot and get into Download mode to flash DUK1 again.
So for anyone with a TWRP bootloop: reboot with Volume down + Power and as soon as it vibrates, press Volume down + up (with USB cable connnected) to get into Download mode again.
