4th August : So what I think I did is :
1) was pissed off, so I tried a power+vol down\up combo when the phone was 'stuck' in the 'quietly brilliant' logo (for the 2nd time)..
2) Then it turned off completely, I believe it ran out of juice.
3) wall plug charged it once, red led was on, tried to turn on again but didn't, removed from charge and now no sign of life at all
4) Left it "charge " all night (no led light)
5) doesn't turn on, tried to connect to pc several times and it showed APX or something once
6th August:
at the moment when I connect it my laptop won't recognize it, says USB Device not recognized :/
HOW CAN I REVIVE MY ONE X ??
Any help would be appreciated I may have lost my baby!! :crying:
Also im new with HTCs, come from Galaxy S1

Try to flash stock firmware with flashtool . Make sure you have drivers installed (from flashtool folder). If you have drivers installed but it still not recognized by flashtool, look in device manager and see what is written under "unknown device".
Phone can be used without touch screen (my Play had broken flex slider cable for more then a month). Navigation in launcher is with dpad, X is confirm, O is back. There is app in play store called "open notification" that I used to see notification, also, app "hard key soft keyboard" to type with dpads.
To be able to answer call, I used xposed framework for GB, with plugin to change home or search key for answering calls
As for games, it is per game. PSXperia games don't need touch screen (and I was playing mostly that while my touch screen was broken)

Generally, Flashtool doesn't see my phone but there is one weird thing with that i think, i will write that later when, i will back home.
My device is always Unknown Device for Windows. With battery, without it, with back key, search key. Always Unknown device, and red light blinking continously.
And what do you mean "look in device manager and see what is written under "unknown device"."?

On PC, right-click on "my computer" and select "manage". Then on on left side select "device manager". Unknown devices is marked with yellow icon with exclamation mark.
For drivers, look in c:/flashtool/drivers folder (or whatever path you have it installed).
Red led is most likely empty battery, but too much reasons for that without proper troubleshooting (bad charger, bad USB cable, bad battery, bad charging circuit on battery, bad charging circuit in phone, damaged USB port or even short-circuit on motherboard). But it could also means damaged boot loader, and that's why I asked what is written in "unknown device" (it will be something like QHSUSB-something)

There is some progress i think, and maybe degress(?) . I left phone with charger for all night. At the morning for my surprise there is green light. I tried power on, and its work. Almost. Touchscreen is didn't working. But thats nothing. When I unplugged from charger it switch off. Now I can power on it with charger or USB Cable, but without it it's stack on SE logo.
I was think thats battery issue, but it isn't. I pluuged phone directly to USB 5V(Red- "+", Black - "-") without battery of course. Same thing, stack on SE logo.
What can I do next? Can I do anything with that?
EDIT I tried flash stock rom via Flashtool, and nothing. Flashmode and fastboot are working.

# red light blinking when turning on = low power , Charge your battery ,be sure the red light is turned on when plugging the charger ,if red light does not show it means your charger is dead.
Dead battery, may be you should charge your cellphone/change battery
Hi guys, i hope i'm in the right place to ask it.
My Moto Z Play fell and won't charge or turn on anymore and i need your help xd.
Here is the information i've gathered.
- Sometimes, when i plug my cellphone to the turbo charger, it heats up, like it's charging, but doesn't display anything on the screen.
- If i hold the volume down and power button, sometimes, a white led blinks, but only once, not like everybody is mentioning that it keeps blinking.
- I plugged it into my computer, it recognized as Fastboot Addison S, then i downloaded some drivers mentioned in this forum and other forums, it recognized as Motorola ADB Interface.
- I've tried all USB Ports, 2.0 and 3.0, the cable is the original one and my windows is 10.
- RSDLite won't recognize my device, i'm using the lastest version, qflash executable won't regonize my phone either, it hangs on "waiting for device".
One of the weirdest things is that, when people text me over whatsapp, later, like hours later, the message gets double marked, like it's been "acked" AND I COULD EVEN CONNECT TO WHATSAPP WEB FOR LIKE, 30 SECONDS, then it disconnected and i couldn't do it anymore..
I've seen a dude on the internet saying that i should try to charge my moto z play with a charger with higher amperage, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. What do you guys think, do you guys have any suggestion?
I appreciate your help,
Arthur Passos.
I'd say it's worth a shot to try charging with the Moto Turbopower 30 but overall it sounds like something disconnected inside when you dropped it.
what model is yours? - -01, -02, or -03 ? Win10 may be a prob for you. I always keep a dual boot for win7 for that and old games.
Good day,
My HUAWEI P30 lite only switches on when the phone is on a power cable - if not it won't switch on at all. When on (Plugged in), it is stuck and does not boot beyond the Huawei logo screen. (When the logo appears, it stays that way for about 10 seconds, and then it goes off and on again in that loop.
Notes:
- Just to reiterate that the phone only switches on when plugged in. (Charger in wall socket or "USB C to USB C" using laptop's USB C port.)
- When using the "USB C to USB C"-cable plugged in to the laptop's USB C-port, the HUAWEI HiSuite software does not recognize the device - Not sure if that is because I'm not using a "Normal USB to USB C"-cable?
- When the Huawei logo appears, the "Powered by Android" does not appear at the bottom of the screen. (Don't know if that's relevant but rather safe than sorry.)
- I recently had the screen replaced (Not an official Huawei screen)
- I recently installed a game from an apk file that a friend sent me. (Did get a system warning that it might be "untrusted", but I installed it anyway and the phone worked fine.)
- The phone is 3+ years old and I have noticed for the last few months that when the phone is on or below 10% battery life, it goes down to 0% really fast and switches off if I don't plug it in in time. (This led me to believe that the battery might have gone?)
Please can someone assist? I don't want to pay for a battery replacement if that is not the root of the cause and won't solve the problem.
(ps. I really really really don't want to lose my data.)
