Hello, after running the LP downgrade script provided in AICP thread to downgrade my bootloader to LP, it hangs at ASUS logo (splashscreen, not bootanimation). Before that I was running Dirty Unicorn. After that, i used xFSTK to unbrick and it reboots to fastboot. But it shows serial number 01234....DEF (i know it's normal) and product name changed to Z00A while mine is Z008. I'm sure i used the correct xFSTK files from amtech.vn. I used AFT to flash, the fastboot status line show different commands and stopped at RESULT: OK. After that, it doesn't flash anymore despite AFT still running. When I disconnected my Z008 and rebooted to bootloader again (@fanfan54) mentioned it in his unbricking thread), it shows USB logo and I unbrick again like above. After AFT and RESULT: OK, I disconnect and rebooted to fastboot, the serial number still like that and device was Z00A, not Z008. I tried AFT again and disconnect, reboot and now it shows USB logo!!
I unbrick by xFSTK then i loops the above steps, still can't unbrick. Now i plugged it to charge, it shows USB logo and the screen keeps on, so it heat up and annoy me very much
Please reply me soon. Thanks in advance:crying::crying:

Phone hardbricked after following "[Solved] Secure Boot Error" thread. What do I do?
I followed the one click root method, which worked out well. After that, I installed su, flashify, and twrp. I then tried installing a custom rom, but upon booting into recovery mode, I received the Secure Boot Error text. It wasn't too big of a deal since I could still take out the battery, put it back in, and boot normally.
But, after seeing this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/help-secure-boot-error-trying-to-boot-t3054977
and how simple the instructions were, I proceeded to give it a shot. I entered in the 4 commands, powered off my phone, and attempted to boot into recovery mode. But unlike before when I booted into recovery mode, nothing appeared. No lg logo, backlight power, nothing. It's acting as it would if nothing was powering it. Now I'm stuck with a bricked phone, and sincerely need some advice on where to proceed next. Could someone help me?
Oh, btw, when I plug the phone the computer, I do "the device was successfully installed" message. The phone appears in device manager, under Ports as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port or as LG AndroidNet Phone under devices and printers. It doesn't appear under This PC at all.
probably one of the core system partitions has a version mismatch which is the reason why your phone isnt turning on because the partition wasnt written correctly
you need to kick it into Qualcomm USB HS Loader 9008 by shorting out the testpoint, other than that your phone is gone
Hello everyone! So... I rooted my ZE551ML when I got it about a month ago and today an update pop-up from Asus shows up. So I said "what could go wrong?" .... How about everything?? Basically, I tried a bunch of different things because I could access via ADB, so I tried to unroot it with a bat file I found with a guide for that, but nothing. Now, I passed from black boot screen with white logo to white boot screen with black logo and I can't connect it with adb nor recovery mode. Is there something I can do to enter recovery? With the normal "volumeUP+power" I get nowhere. Can anybody help?

hope you can access fastboot. if yes you can install recovery and ifwi files from fastboot
How do I start fastboot mode? I let it charge all night and my pc does the "device connected/disconnected" sound all of the time, but adb says no device (the drivers are ok, I tried before). I have to say that I tried to flash boot.img, droidboot.img, recovery.img and system.img. Problem is, while I was downloading those files I found 2 other methods for recover it, one was to unroot it and the other to unlock the bootloader.... And I tried. Now, I'm unable to enter recovery.
Edit: I tried this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-brick-soft-hard-bricked-zenfone-2-t3284256 and for a short period of time (about a second or 2) I can see another device under the "Intel SOC" in device manager, but xFTSK cannot see the phone, even when it shows up for just a second on device manager.
Edit2: holding power down and plugging in the usb cable allows xFSTK to see my device, I put in the files and begin downloading, everything is going good but then it says
07:24:01 - XFSTK-LOG--Windriver Error: 0xC0000011, HC status: The host controller has set the Transaction Error (XactErr) bit in the transfer descriptor's status field
And from there it just starts all over again until it fails definetly.
Edit3: I'm trying the hell out of this software. I attach 2 logs to this post with relatives configurations. Still waiting for help.
Using xfstk tool

In the end, after about 20 times, XFSTK did flash what should have. Now, I'm back in business. I changed nothing, just kept trying.
Hi,
I somehow managed to get myself into a bootloop situation (it keeps rebooting and showing the asus logo until I shut it down). I had flashed the droidimg.img recovery.img and boot.img files from the latest official stock rom, but that seemed to not work and now I'm in a bootloop. I do not have fastboot or recovery or anything else. It's stuck at the logo and keeps rebooting.
To fix it, I tried to follow the "unbrick" guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/thead-bricked-phone-updating-to-mm-tips-t3452785), but I can't see the MOOREFIELD device show up for long enough to even click it (only shows up for a split second under "Other Devices" section). And I can't see "Inter SOC" in device manager at all. Also, xFSTK-Downloader doesn't run (doesn't show up when I click it) at all. This is on Windows 10. I have looked at other guides and they seem to have followed the "unbrick" guide, which doesn't work for me.
Is the phone done for good or is there hope?

please don't make multiple thread uselessly. please read the guide properly. that question have already been answered multiple time. connect you phone to pc. turn it off by pressing power button long time. now run xfstk load files tick gpflags override. then click ok. and click begin download it will start waiting for device. now simply click power button to turn on device. xFSTK will force it into required mode and will start download. repeat steps as required
Backstory
2 years ago, I installed nougat into my marshmallow zenphone. A few days later there was a problem with 3g and wifi, so after some searching, I found out I needed to flash modem.zip, after doing so, the phone no longer boot, bootloader is good, recovery is gone and fastboot is gone. Spent about 20+ hours trying to recover... but to no success. The main problem was using the XFSTK method, it did boot to fastboot, but the damn phone product code becomes a Z00A, so flashing a z008 rom led to fastboot refusing to flash. Flashing a z00a rom led to bootloop...
Since I wasted too much damn time trying to recover, and I needed a phone quickly, I bought a 32GB mi max for $120 and never looked back.... until today 03 March 2018.
Recovering the hardbricked Asus phone easily
1) Install the intel usb soc http://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oMRhweQ4CHbURUNk1ZTHI2Mjg/view?usp=sharing
2) Disable driver verification in Windows 8/10 by rebooting into advanced menu
3) Install intel usb soc above
4) Download and install Download xFSTK Downloader v1.7 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oMRhweQ4CHbDNQdy1jVUJFcEE/view
5) Download the files for xFSTK and unzip
ZE550ML http://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oMRhweQ4CHcHg4WXJQckFGOTA/view? Usp = sharing
ZE551ML http://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oMRhweQ4CHR21YaDdXdUNlOGs/view? Usp = sharing
6) Open xFSTK,
go settings, tick enable GP flag override and use the number 0x800000807
link the dnx fwr, ifwi and droidboot from step 5 as follows: https://i.imgur.com/mKZoUdi.png
7) Make sure your phone is off, click begin download then plug in phone, it will start flashing
Sometimes it fails while flashing firmware, sometimes it fails while flashing OS. Doesn't matter keep retrying. Pressing volume button while plugging in phone MAY help.
8) Once successful, you will see 4 color background, then usb cable image, then fastboot mode. If you fail halfway in flashing you will stop at either one of the images. Keep retrying until you reach fastboot.
9) At fastboot, you are safe. Go charge your phone for 1 hour. If your screen dies, do not press power button, press volume button it will remain in fastboot mode.
10) While your phone is charging, install asus flash tool https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4uMV7GwfDAEYm5RWTFydXZWOTQ
Download the raw file https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13In6163G8S9BbjiNlEOF-fOXhVIC0z9r?usp=sharing
11) With phone charged, plug in your phone and open the flash tool. Your phone should appear. If not replug usb cable/change usb cable/port, restart the flash tool and leave it plugged in and wait UNTIL the flash tool recognizes it. It will recognize... eventually.
12) select correct model, tick erase data, and locate the firmware. Once recognized, highlight it and click START
13) After 20 minutes, it will be stuck because of the change in serial number. plug out usb cable, restart program, plug back in.
14) Wait for the program to recognize the NEW serial number, then reflash the phone, this time IT WILL BE SUCCESSFUL and will boot into Android marshmallow.
Miscellaneous steps after unbricking
Unlock bootloader, flash recovery, flash custom firmware, root, gapps
Good of you to share. Thanks.
Bricked my own yesterday got it up and running after 6 hrs of looking at guides nice phone good spec but probably be selling on as it not getting any security updates any more I could live with marshmallow but bit wary of no security updates
The phone hard-bricked, and I already went through a bunch of guides, none worked to get me to fastboot, so that I could flash the firmware.
My computer correctly detects the phone as a Moorefield device, and the xfstk unbrick process appeared to had worked, because it went as expected. But after it continues to OS, first the little USB screen appears, then, after multiple boots, the 4 color screen is the only thing that appears on the screen...
Not even a hint of fastboot (tried to watch the output of fastboot devices but it never outed anything)
Should I try another GP key? (using 0x80000807), should I get another xfstk .bin files? (extracted mine from sal358-amtech) thanks in advance...
did you find any solution bro?
