Have anybody seen any flashable apps, custom ROMS, or other solutions that can allow ClearAudio+ or EQ to work across all apps? (Youtube, Soundcloud, etc.) Has this feature been totally killed across all Xperia devices?

Hi !
I have the Walkman 5.0.A.0.11 app on my ICS Xperia, and I find the gap between tracks really annoying (~0.5 to 1 sec).
I've read somewhere the latest xperias have gapless reading of audio files.
Is there a trick to enable this? A more recent app?
TIA,
Ludo
I have the arc and a walkman app, but there's no gap between songs :/ Maybe the issue is the version of the walkman. Which mod is it? It may depend on the different mods of walkmans around here
Stock ICS 4.0.4 ROM.
I'm looking to get Sony Walkman mod to work on t-mobile s4.
I want to use Sony's equalizer and it's clear bass feature.
Has anyone got this mod or app working?
If so then then you can you confirm which custom rom and kernel you used (and which recovery).
I have the files from another thread. For developers I can link them so that you can try to get them to work on t-mobile version of s4.

It will NOT work or not work properly.
Even with the S3 which the sony walkman mod was made for it never worked properly.
Most of the settings/features did not even show up at all, no equalizer, clear bass and
no downloading of music art/albums from imdb or any other place.
None of the devs ever really completed the ported Walkman mod, all it did was play music
without any of the features which most other music players have.

Thanks!
That's sad. IMO this is one of the most valuable mods for audiophiles. I spend mad money a year on expensive headphones and audiophile music players (I have several Sony walkman lol), etc.
I would have no problem giving a generous donation to something like this. Don't know why it wasn't finished. Maybe I should get an Experia phone.
I use stock V500 and I really like it, not willing to root it or install any custom ROM. My main problem is equalizing sound in audio players. I've noticed, that majority of 5-6 band equalizers (standalone and embedded in players) simply do not work (except for volume amplification), including my favourite MusiXmatch. Equalizers in LG "Music" app and in some other players having their own equalizers with more than 6 band are usually working (N7 player, as an example).
Can somebody explain why and what can I do to enable "simple" equalizers with no root or custom ROM?

Hey guys, so I tried installing an equalizer that would support Spotify, Google music and such, but it seems that none of these work on lollipop. Is there eq for lollipop yet? I tried bunch of eqs from google store, viper4android but I can't get any of them to work.
Thank you, Martin.
Could somebody with 5.1.1 be so kind to check if Clearaudio and Xloud are fully working with all apps?
On 5.02 Clearaudio and Xloud are working ONLY with the Sony Walkman app, but not third-party apps like Audible.
That's the reason I went back to 4.4.4. I need the loudness boost for the internal speaker.
FYI.
In the meantime I tried it myself. Same situation as 5.0.1.
Xloud works with the Walkman app and Google Play Music.
Also some other apps from the playstore that support an external equilizer work fine.
Older apps, like MortPlayer Audiobook do NOT work with Xloud anymore. (They did with 4.4.4.)
