Hey all,
Has anyone gotten the playstation vue app to work on this tablet running something other than kit kat? I'm currently running CM13 and it says it's not available for the device. I tried hiding root but it still gives me the same error.
Playstation doesn't allow rooted devices. (At least none that I could find) If you want to use the PSVue app you have to unroot.

As per topic, has anyone managed to get this working on the FireTV. I've tried a few apk versions however I'm not sure if they have blocked it from working.
I have Plex, Kodi etc already running but this would keep her indoors happy if I got that working too.
Many Thanks,
I wouldn't mind knowing if anyone can get it working also as in the same boat...?
I read somewhere that it works if you plug in a mouse?
Last time I tried, the app ran but when I goto stream , it said 'not supported'.
If you have 'youmap chrome cast' installed, the nowtv app on your phone/tablet doesn't see the fireTV as a chromecast, so that doesn't work either.
Hmmm I can't do that. Sorry I should of mentioned I've got the Fire TV Stick.
All the versions I have tried don't even open, they just say something to the tune of "This device is not supported"
After the kodi Plugin was broken I did not found a solution to watch NowTV on Android. ATM I'm running OnlineTVrecorder to record. download and watch it
Hi,
I have rooted my Ouya using the guide from S-Config and am running the latest nightly build (12/01/16). Seems that I keep on getting the 40 Error message when trying to stream any videos from the Directv Now app. I have hid my root with "Root Hide", disabled it within CM11. Still gives me the error with both the Google Play store app and as well side loaded the Amazon apk as well, and still giving me the issue. Im out of ideas, and not sure if just the rooting portion is the full issue.
Has anyone tried to get this to work with the Directv Now app?
The PS Vue Mobile app from the play store says my Dasaita 8.0 is rooted so it can't run. However Super SU says I'm not rooted. Does anyone know how to get psvue to work?
Definitely interested in this as well. My radio says it isn't rooted however vue thinks my hizpo is...
Im in a similiar situation. I'm debating to root then see if f magisk will help. If not looks like I will just install a firestick in my truck as well.
Posting this being I downloaded PS4 remote play for my g7 since they allowed it for non sony phone's now for thinking it was gona work fine being phone's not rooted and from what I remember the bootloader is still locked. But everytime I try to see if it works i get an error 88001003 code . Any other g7 users getting this error? Or is remote play working for them?
Working fine in my LG G7 Stock ROM, Android 8.0
I can run Remote Play but I can't use a hardware controller. The remotePlay subreddit has a bunch of discussion about this and it sounds like there's a bug in the Remote Play app that recognizes older Dualshocks (model number ending "1U") using an OTG cable, but throws an error when you connect a newer one (model ending "2U"). I also had to manually pair with my PS4, I couldn't get automatic discovery to work -- have you tried that?
Hi. I have 5 of the Nexus 7 2013 tablets and get my tv through spectrum. The TV app for Android from Spectrum is great and usually works very well. However when I install it on my Nexus 7 tablets I always get the dvs-1001 error, which is channel unavailable. The strange part is that the TV app works on one of the Nexus 7 tablets. The working tablet runs a factory stock MOB30X rom, unlocked bootloader, and TWRP 3.0.2.
The tablets that don't run the TV app run everything else just fine. Some of them have the factory stock ROM (like the working tablet) and some of them run the pure Nexus 6.0.1 rom and are rooted, with the Xposed app and Root Cloak. All of the non-working tablets always give me the dvs-1001 error, and used to run the tv app up to about a year ago. My Samsung phone and my Nexus 9 tablet both run the tv app with no problems.
The working and non-working tablets are identical as far as I can tell and of course go through the same Wi-Fi network. I've flashed the non-working tablets with Factory and custom roms and done everything else I can think of to try to get the TV app working, but no luck. I'm open to any ideas, thanks for reading this far.
