I've been searching far and wide to see if the new Hauwei Matebook supports RemixOS, but have yet to find any info online. Just bought yesterday, and going to attempt an install tonight, but figured I'd check
Yes, I have tried it on Matebook and it works well.
It does! Just got it installed myself. Switched screen scaling to 150% and it's perfect
Only problem now is the hardware buttons don't worl!!
Hi

Ill test it now with geekbench 4 and let you know
---------- Post added at 07:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:45 PM ----------
Steps for installing Remix OS:
1. Download Remix OS for PC 64-bit Package (EFI & Legacy)
2. You need to create a partition in windows by going to DiskManagement - Strinking 16gb for Remix OS (you can make it bigger if you want)
3. Unzip and run The Remix Installer which you downloaded - and locate the ISO and install to harddisk (the partition you created) mine was 16gb
4. Reboot the Matebook and you will see a boot option to boot into Remix OS or Windows
### You also need to boot into BIOS (to do this you must hold volume up and power button together until Matebook turns on but continue holding volume up until you get into BIOS)
You need to Disabled Secure Boot and TPM in BIOS --- Save changes and Exit
Thx

Thank you very much
I will also install - Phoenix OS which is another OS which is able to run on the Matebook
Alright.
Test both and say which is better
Soooo... how do I select Remix OS from the boot menu without a keyboard/mouse?
I tried using the volume buttons but nothing happens - am I gonna have to buy the portfolio keyboard?
Thanks guys for the info. Even on my notebook do not work the hardware keys, camera, screen rotation and bluetooth. Someone found the solutions? Thank you.

I have the same problem. If someone knows the answer, please help.
I connected to a USB keyboard and was able to select Remix OS from the boot menu. Remix OS works pretty well. Wifi and touch screen work.
A few big issues:
None of the hardware buttons work which means when Remix goes to sleep, there is no way to wake it up without keyboard.
There is no long press to trigger right mouse click which means there is no way to quit an app.
I also tried to install phoenix OS. It did not boot because it doesn't support UEFI boot.
I tried Phoenix OS. Great project. But they do not work as on Remix OS: key hardware, camera, bluetooth and rotation. Wifi disconnects frequently!

These 3 are basic demands of people over here for OOS based roms.
I know it can be done by installing subs with Ozone.

I see, when i flash the another kernel, magisk was disable and i need to reflash. It's that a possible problem?

As far as I know there is still an issue with magisk and decrypted oos. If you wanna stay decrypted I suggest you switch to supersu. Otherwise use magisk on encrypted oos only for now until TWRP is updated.

yes, but for now i see all "data partition" and i haven't problem. I don't know if the problem is Magisk or module of magisk. Because, when i flash another kernel, and flash Magisk, i don't have any problem.

Best battery life on an AOSP ROM so far!
Hey everyone,
Is Netflix available to download on that ROM ? I experienced an issue with this app on the previous build of PE for OP5.
Thanks!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

It was a joke, sorry.
It seems the 8 processor cores are working at full speed even when the phone is idle. The obvious solution is go back to miui and wait the problem is solved. The overheating is not good for the electronic's health. If you keep it heating your phone will not live for long time.

Actually I tried it with oreo before you replied.
The recovery you have attached does not boot up. Furthermore it shows disc image is corrupted when I try to open it in Windows.

Bro. After flashing it my phone started overheating.
Battery was draining rapidly comparing MIUI, And instead of charging the battery was draining while I was using it on charging. ?
Now I'm back to miui Europe version. Sad
