Hi I have and LG G4 Beat with 8 GB storage . After factory reset that device only have 2.5 GB free space . So I don't have free space for applications . I am using adoptable storage function . But some of the applications for example emulators need faster storage . Even an UHS-1 card didn't fix my problem . So without root how I can write my files to internal storage again . Seems only some applications installable to there . Which folder in internal storage is writable ? How I can see it when using adoptable storage function ?

Our SGW has
1.) 1.7 GB Internal SD storage (it shows as USB storage under settings-> storage)
2.) 2 GB ROM (1GB System Storage/Device Memory + 1GB ROM)
3.) External SD storage (size depends on ur own MicroSD)
For unrooted device, u can move apps into the 1.7GB usb storage from the system storage. Of course, u can keep all apps in ur system storage but the space is really limited.
I would recommend u to keep contacts, messaging software, themes and those apps u need to have it run immediate after booting in ur system storage; keep games and less frequently used apps in usb storage (internal sd).
For rooted device, u can even move apps into ur external sd storage by using App2sd. U can see a hidden folder call .android_secure under ur external_sd directory.
When i move apps to sd card (8gb) they are moved to the second internal storage (sdcard0 '1.1gb') not the real SD card (whom is 8gb) .and when I swapped the storage they moved to the fake SD card ( who is now the 1.1gb internal storage ) not to the 8gb storage .
So why that I used to really put them in the real SD card with an app called ROM TOOLBOX in official jb without need to swap storages but now NO .
by the way I'm in CM11 4.4.4 .
Please help.

Hello! I bought LG G3 a few days ago and i have questions...
SD Card works how internal storage? or works separated?
I Have a 16 gb lg g3 and a 16 gb sd card, but i cant move APPs from internal storage to sdcard, for example the gangstar game obb files, only works when the files stays in internal storage because when i move the files to sdcard the game doesnt start. But also the option to move the game to sd card works! The game stills in internal storage and use too much memory...
I need help
greetings!
It has nothing to do with your G3...... it is the Kitkat thing or the Google thing.....it is how Kitkat designed to be

Wow. I still can't believe they made a 16gb ROM 2gb ram g3. 16gb is just not enough. I got 32gb and its almost full with junk
There are some apps in the app store that will enable write to SD.

Hello all
I m on Marshmallow ROM [AOKP]. No i have formatted my ExSD Card as Internal storage in my phone. Then i connected my phone to Laptop and transferred data. Now my phone is showing insufficient storage notification. So i went to Settings/Storage & USB/ExSD Card/Migrate Data... Now the migration of data freezes and doesn't complete.
SO is there any other way to migrate data from internal storage to ExSD Card ? I have a Class 6 memory card.
My questions:
1. if we still have to migrate data from internal storage to ExSD, then what is the meaning of formatting ExSD as internal storage ?
2. Is there anyway we can migrate data via ES File Explorer ? [Though i cant see ExSD Card in ES File Explorer cz i have flashed it as Internal Storage.]
plz Guide me...

link2sd doesn't work on Marshmallow, I have read. I am about to downgrade to lollipop, because of the multitude of issues I have with the way the sd card is handled, including that no media on the card seem to be indexed.
Which ROM of marshmallow you are using ? Bcuz I am using AOKP and link2sd is working
I can't install anything .
I have 1,7GB free .
I can't set default storage for the camera to external SD .
