Bose Qc20 - HTC 10 Accessories

Anyone know if the android version of the bose qc20's work for the htc 10?
My old ones died but it seems the new ones have a remote but idk if it's compatible.

I've got the Android QC25 and they work fine, all remote buttons function correctly.

[Q] Apple In-Ear Headphones mic working on WM devices?

Hello,
I got a pair of B&W P5 that are made for iPhone/iPod to use on my HTC HD Mini.
When I connect them into Mini it recognizes that a headphone with a microphone is plugged in but it fail to get any sound out of it.
I try it also on a HTC Touch2 and the result was the same.
On android devices users are reporting that mics and volume buttons are working.
On a apple device my P5 works so isn't a hardware problem with it.
This is a WM devices limitation?
Why a mic is recognized but doesn't work?
There is any kind of driver/patch/software to overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance
I have HTC legend with 2.2, and i can comfirm that the mic is not working for me either. I am able to pause the current song, and answer calls, with the middle button, but nothing else.
I am really interested in getting answers to the same questions as TS asked.
I can also confirm that the mic does work with HTC desire..
Wont work. Better use mw600.

Headphone buttons

Does anyone know how to get the headphone buttons to work?
A long press activates vlingo.
they will not pause pandora, mixzing, or the stock music app.
I can't get headphone buttons on beats studios to work either. Like on iPod I know like dbl press skips track etc.. But no go on this out my og epic. I think my HTC hero long tinge ago did work though. It may be the headphone jack doesn't have the proper stuffs for that functionality.
I have a pair of LG stereo Bluetooth headphones that have pause play fwd rew buttons and all those work perfectly.

Sadly iOS and Android devices use different wiring layouts for inline remotes than each other, so I've never found one designed for iOS work fully on any Android phone that I've had. Only way I can think of to fix it would be if someone made an app to intercept the remote signals and correct them, kind of like a programmable TV remote.

Or an adapter that switched the wiring around appropriately within itself.
I'm not sure compatibility is an issue here. I had no problems with using my iphone headphones on my nexus one.
Maybe it's a samsung program issue. I noticed that by deactivating vlingo, I got pause functionality back.

Wired headset button

Has anyone noticed wired headset buttons not working? I haven't tested the mic, but I imagine that doesn't work either.
I'm using Skullcandy 50/50s. The icon doesn't even show up that it's got a mic on it...could they have removed support for it? I doubt it though...
What ROM are you using? Some of the AOSP ROM's have problems with headsets, others don't.
Using Skyradier Zeus...I was planning on trying other ROMs as well, I'll see if it works.
Edit, I got it to work. I'd have to get the OS to "recognize" it by hitting the other buttons a couple times. It then detected it as a mic headset and worked fine.
It was fine when I was running RMK's Ginger Sense and, lately - been running SR's Zeus R1.1.1 (newest) with several headphone/mic sets, including those standalone stereo only headsets - all good for me.
Looking at the physical design of the Inc 2's plug location and the shape/size of some of the headset/mics combo available to users, my feeling is that when it's not fully inserted or seated properly, and 1 of the 4 pins out aren't making contact, trouble then arise.
There was another post about someone using iPhone's in-line headset/mic and had issues (I used a noise-cancelling one branded by Sharper Image for iphone, BB & it worked in all of my devices, including the tablet.)

Motorola Roadster Car Speaker - Not working with One X?

Every other phone i've had works fine with the motorola roadster except my one x. Anyone had this issue? Or has anyone had issues with the One X and other bluetooth devices?
could you explain more ? i have similar issues with my car bluetooth connection
Well the first time i tried to pair them, the one X briefly found the Roadster. Since then however, it hasnt recognised it at all. Doesnt show up in bluetooth devices. If i'm in traffic, other peoples devices show up around me, just not the mine :S
Looks like we both are sailing in almost same boat compatibilty issue with previous versions of bluetooth
actually yesterday i reset my bluetooth device to factory settings and now its working with my one X perfectly, maybe try the same on yours?

[Q] USB DAC with Mate

Hi there!
Recently, the 3.5mm jack of my Mate broke, but since I'm not really looking for a replacement yet, I decided to give the FiiO E18 Kunlun a try.
My thought was that if I could pass my audio through the usb port and then plug my headphones into the E18, my problem would be solved.
That was the case, but only partly.
The problem is that my Mate does not recognize the E18. I've now gotten it to work on only specifically this rom (downgraded from 4.4.4 to 4.2.2): http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p6/ascend-mate/dev-alpha-ver-3-t2858354, and I can only play music through it with this one app specifically: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.extreamsd.usbaudioplayerpro&hl=en
Being able to play some mp3 files through it is already more than I could hope for, but it could ofc still be better.
Is there any way for me to get it to work on my entire phone, or mostly specific apps like Spotify or Google Play Music?
Being able to play mp3 files and all is great, but for less I could just have bought a seperate MP3 player as well + my spotify subscription is kinda collecting dust like this
I've seen that Lollipop implemented USB DAC support, however I've found no roms for the original Mate that are based on Lollipop. Do these even exist?
Many thanks!
