LG G3 - Constantly restarting - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
My LG restarts constantly for no reason. This has been going on for a few weeks but has gotten significantly worse this week. I have done the following:
Factory reset the phone (multiple times)
Cleared the cache/app data
Restored upgrade errors using LG PC suite
Replaced the battery
Currently on Android 6.0 (had the same problems on previous OS)
Wi-Fi would not turn off up until I factory reset the device again yesterday but this seems to have stopped. I have noticed the Wi-Fi is quite poor, constantly dropping networks.
Since doing all of the above the problem has gotten worse.
Device is not rooted, just over a year old, unlocked to any network (currently on BT).
I'm new to this so I apologize if my post seems a bit basic. If anyone can point me in the direction of a step by step rooting guide I'd greatly appreciate it (never rooted a device before), thanks.

reflash the firmware using LGflashtool 2014 in download mode search on youtube

[Q] GPE 5.0.1 - Phone encryption mess

Hello, noob here on the forum and would like to seek help from the experts and I apologize if this is a double post though I checked the other postings and there's no similar articles/postings.
Anyway, I have long rooted my device and have playing with different ROMs for quite sometime but I'm stuck at this issue so here it goes, I successfully installed GPE 5.0.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919 T-Mobile) and was using it for quite sometime and for some apparent reason, I itched on encrypting my phone so I activated it and successfully followed the instructions and then rebooted but prior to that warned me that it takes an hour or so to complete the process, so I went ahead and the phone rebooted, I waited for more than 24 hrs and my phone was stucked at the 4 dots animation and couldn't use it so i decided to pull out the battery, after turning it on, i got stucked on the recovery menu and i resigned to the idea that i lost my data on the phone (i don't worry about this as all my contacts, messages, call logs, documents, etc are all backed up properly and I can restore it without any problem).
After fiddling with articles and what have you's i finally gave up and this is the error i got and couldn't figure what to do next:
I tried using the following:
- Odin
- Heimdall
Can someone please help me!

LG G3 restarting all the time

Hello everyone. I have the LG G3 model D855 running Android 6.0 and and phone keeps restarting all the time.
Things i've done until now:
1) replaced the battery with another G3, i still have the restart issue and the other phone that uses my battery has non.
2) did a factory reset and upgraded the android software from 5.3 to 6.0.
3) From LG PC Suite i did "Restore Upgrade Errors".
4) Using Android studio i looked at the logs from the LogCat and found nothing special. i saved logs from two different restarts and tried to see if there's anything in common but still nothing.
I have no idea what else to do and it looks like an hardware issue.
If someone has an idea it will be very appreciated.
Thank you very much.

LG G4 won't boot up- NOT BOOTLOOP

So I have a T-Mobile LG G4 that like every other G4 had the bootloop problem when I got it. I sent it to LG and they promptly fixed the issue. My current issue has nothing to do with the bootloop I believe.
Because the G4 wasn't getting the Android N update fast enough and also because I wanted to play around with Android's full potential, I decided to root the phone a little over two weeks ago. The process worked and I decided to install a custom ROM. That also worked. I have installed four or five custom ROMs built on Android 7.1 without issue, or at least without any major issue.
However last night I decided to flash Genysis ROM on Android 6.0 because I wanted to play with Xposed. I made a full Nandroid backup of the CRdroid ROM it had been running and then wiped and flashed it using TWRP. When I installed the ROM it didn't work for whatever reason, freezing up and frequently becoming unresponsive. Over about 30 minutes I managed to enable USB debugging and reboot it to recovery (why I didn't shut factory wipe it from bios I'm not sure).
Now any ROM I try to install doesn't boot up. It never gets past the OS loading screen with the ROM logo. On 6.0 ROMs it says it has optimized the apps but gets stuck on starting them. The Nandroid backup I made does the same thing, even ones I made early that day and one from several days ago.
The backups had that one app installed that shows the logcat while booting up and while I'm no expert it seems to get a loop loading the audio drivers. I don't know if that's the cause or if it's just coincidental, as I've never heard of audio drivers preventing a boot, albeit my experience is with Windows PCs.
If it would help I can attempt to take a picture of the screen while stuck, although the text moves very fast. I can access the TWRP recovery just fine but don't know how to/if you can dump logs.
Any help would be much appreciated! I can attempt to supply an information that may be needed as well.

why not start from 0 and flash latest KDZ with LGUP.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/h811-kdz-file-t3607807
For sure I'll try that. I'll let you know if it works, thanks!
Follow up- I eventually found the free time to work on this and flashing the kdz worked! I actually had to use LG Bridge as LGUP only found my device as unknown.
Thanks for the help! Back to flashing ROMs for me.

Corrupt partitions

I've been having an awful time with my device:
I recently bounced around between beta and stable and I believe that might have caused the issue.
WiFi MAC address has reset itself to 02:00:00:00:00:00 but IMEI has remained intact. Depending on my combination of rebooting and wiping network stats I can get it to force back to it's original (but oddly Bluetooth has the same MAC, is that correct?)
WiFi is causing random reboots and sometimes it takes me 20 minutes to boot fully to OS without bootloops.
I have already used MSMDownload tool to re-flash back to 3.0 and then OTA updated all the way back to 5.01
I have also opened a ticket with OnePlus and they used their MSMDownload tool to bring me back to 5.0
The odd thing is after I did the 5.0 again and OTA'd to 5.01.... I manually reflashed 5.01 firmware and modem and did another factory reset and was able to fully use WiFi for about 10 hours.
Went to bed, woke up... WiFi disconnected...
Anyone have any ideas? My phone is becoming unusable and OnePlus wants to charge me $200.... but my IMEI is intact!
Anybody have some insight?
Having an awful time.
I managed to resolve the reboots by flashing Lineage... But WiFi is broken most of the time.

Factory reset on a corrupted Android OS?

So about a few years ago, I tried to root my galaxy note 4 (n910aucu2doi3), but I guess it rejected the root because it instantly bricked my phone, to the point where I had to completely wipe it using android recovery. The only way to get my operating system back was to download it online and install it through my PC (I had to find the exact version for my phone as well, 5.1.1 at the time, because it rejected every single other version).
Everything seemed to be working fine, except that I couldn't install software updates on my phone anymore. It was permanently stuck on 5.1.1. It was a bit of an annoyance but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Fast forward to now, and I'm getting several signs that my OS may be corrupted. My phone is constantly freezing, crashing and restarting. Maneuvering through applications causes the phone to freeze for a few seconds before either restarting or crashing the app. I want to say it's definitely a software issue, but I did install a new battery recently and it was working fine for a few weeks, could that be the issue?
If not, I want to start over, but I'm not sure how, and I don't know if it's safe to do a factory reset on this OS. Is there anyway I can get a fresh stock version of an android OS that can also update?
Any help is appreciated, I'm pretty much desperate.
I manually updated to 6.0.1 with the help of this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-att/general/updates-thread-t3663943
It seems to have fixed the issues so far, and my phone can automatically update again
