G3 features with 3rd party launchers?

will my device still retain features such as knock on, knock codes, lg's customized nav buttons, qslide apps, multi windows if I use a 3rd party launcher like nova launcher?

yes. the only thing you will lose is the lg specific widgets, the lg health page and the ability to knock off anywhere (you can still double tap the status bar to knock off)
i'm using nova and all the other lg stuff works great

Thanks, but how about the nav buttons? I don't want to lose the ability to rearrange the nav buttons and quick notification pull down button

I wish there was a way to still get the LG widgets and health app outside of the stock launcher. I'd also love the lock screen clock as a widget

Knock off will only work if you double tap the status bar. It's unfortunate.

I found a solution by binding nova launcher gesture to a screen off app

I'm also using Nova. I wish it came with gestures for locking the screen. It would have been easier to replicate the knock off feature

If you are using Nova Launcher, you can create a shortcut to the LG Health app.

I found the "Turn Off" little free app works beautifully for that.

Just install it, then bind the double tap gesture in Nova to "Turn off" shortcut, and you get an exact replacement for Knock Off.

Thanks for the lead on the program, and for the tip on hitting the notification bar.
I was afraid I'd have to make the tough choice between the functionality of the double-tap and just using Nova.
Forgive me if I missed the explanation, but why doesn't the double-tap just work in Nova like in the standard launcher?

I think that the double tap gesture in Nova needs to be tapped on a blank/empty area without any icons/shortcuts/widgets.

using g3 tweaksbox I set the double tap on home key to turn screen off and enabled double tap on status bar. so when using phone with one hand I can reach the home button easily.

Arter 6.0.1 update ı couldnt find lock screen effects on my s6 edge. Is it possible bring back ? White Outroot

Please use Goodlock from Samsung to return the lock screen effects

Yeah but Goodlok works strange.you dont have the effects unless you apply that colored background.and it doesnt have the aqua drop effect .

Lots of quick setting toggle doesn't work on good lock.

Are You using any theme or port of UX5.0 from lg G5? it could cause that if yes chceck OP from that theme or ask its provider about Quick Circle feature

Theme Store on Marshmallow

[#THIS METHOD REQUIRES ROOT#
Hello guys, i recently test Theme Store and applied the BoroUI theme.
But only wallpaper and folder icon that changed, if you want to test please follow the tutorial
Please make full backup before you start.
Do With Your Own Risk
download the theme center from attachment
unzip
push to priv-app then set permission
edit your build number to SM-G920F at build.prop
Restart your tablet
Open theme store by tapping Galaxy Essential widget
Tap Theme Store
Tap More
Tap Settings
Switch ON "Add the theme store icon to your app list and home screen"
i only test this at marshmallow, when i test it on lollipop i got bootloop after applying a theme

I am waiting for this half year. If you can find way to theme other aspects, as ui colors, you are my idol!

For I myself, I'd like:
double tap to wake up and sleep
click to copy verification code into clipboard in SMS
show seconds in status bar
customize carrier name
show network traffic
I've tried many ROMs already, but never found a ROM gather all these features together, so sad.
