Smartwatch 3 and 5GHz WiFi? - Sony Smartwatch 3

I can recall that my watch was working with 5GHz WiFi in the very beginning, but now it does not find my 5GHz WiFi anymore. Is this a bug or does the hardware does not support 5GHz WiFi, which is working far better here in my home since 2.4GHz is heavily overcrowded?

Bluetooth and WIFI fix?

So I'm on official cm 10.2 and I have a problem where if I connect to a Bluetooth device my WiFi goes to crap. I've done a full nights research on this problem and apparently its pretty common post android 4.2. The only fix I have read about that seems to work for people is to get a duel band router and run 5GHz WiFi. So before I go buy yet another router to try to solve this problem I would like to know if any of you have run into this problem as well, or do not have it at all, or any fix other than the 5 GHz router? Is stock ROM having this problem as well? PA?
Thanks in advance
Your Bluetooth must be on and connected and in some cases you have to run speed test.net to see it get slow but mine simply loses signal after I try to surf. Or gets so slow as to be unusable. I'm streaming audio to a Bluetooth headset.
Most devices behave this way because bluetooth is also on 2.4ghz as well. A modern inverter style microwave oven in the kitchen can also FUBAR WiFi too because they also operate in this band. If you are that heavy of a user 5ghz would probably help...though keep in mind 5ghz doesn't travel as far.

I have the same problem with Nexus 7 android 4.3 but not with my LG optimus L9 android 4.2.2 phone. Wifi and Bluetooth both works fine with the phone but not with Nezus 7
Update: I solved my problem by buying a 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz dual band router.

Unable to connect to 5Ghz WiFi?

I just got my M8 and its unable to see any 5Ghz network, even when set to scan for 5Ghz only. 2.4Ghz networks are seen and connect fine. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue, and if they found a fix that doesn't involve sending the phone to HTC.
Edit: My router was being stupid. Only 5Ghz AP in the area, didn't think to check other devices if they were connected to the 5Ghz AP or the 2.4Ghz one.

Any updates on that? Same story here, Xaomi Mi mini router and M8. I can see only 2.4GHz network.

Problem 5ghz ac

Has anyone noticed a problem with Wi-Fi 5ghz ac? I'm on 1.32.401.17 and I can connect to 5ghz ac Wi-Fi, but the connection is very very very slow.
Then I switched Wi-Fi on the router (fritzbox) to 5ghz n-a (not n-ac) and it worked.
Why do we have problems with 5ghz ac?
I thought our M9 should work with that standard.

No, I have the same firmware and a ASUS RT-AC68U router. It works just as well as anything else I have.
Seems to work now.

Nexus 5x Wifi Standby

Hello,
found some Threads about the following Problem but got no real answer.
I bought a 5x a week ago and the problem is, that i can not use Wifi, when screen is off.
The 5x discconnects after a few secounds. Keep connection while standby or what its called is "always".
When Bluetooth is enabled the same time, the 5x do not lose the wifi connectin in standby mode.
Is it a known bug oder is there a chance that it it will not happen with a new 5x?
Sorry for my english skills and thank you for your answers.

Update: With a different router it works without bluetooth enabled, but i dont know where the Problem is. Every other Device (mobile and pc) is working without problems on the one which is not working with my 5x.
Update2: I disabled the 5Ghz ac Network and connection is working wehen screen is off.
Nexus 5x is not working with 802.11ac Network when Screen is off until you habe Bluetooth enabled.
Really no one with the same issue?

A little bit today i've got 44Mbps when disconnected and 42Mbps, 38Mbps (2 tests) when connected but idle and i tried 2times with spotify playing and i've got 17Mbps at every of that 2 test wierd because yesterday i, ve got 2Mbps but it's still a lot slower than normal
I suspect that 2,4Ghz WI-FI + active bluetooth connection (there is a data flow) should be the most affected combination. Switch to 5Ghz WI-FI networks if You can (as BT uses 2,4Ghz frequency)
There isn"t much You can do about that sadly :/
