Hi all!
I had to wipe my phone (moto x 2014) cause it was having some issues so I did it, then of course I had to wipe the moto 360 in order to use it again with my moto x recently wiped and now the remote shutter that used to open on my moto 360 when the camera was launched on my phone is no longer appearing...I mean, nothing happens on the 360 when I launch my moto camera and as far as I can remember when the camera on my moto was launched the remote shutter automatically appeared on my watch....
So, anyone else having this problem?
I wiped the watch a few more times, uninstalled and reinstalled the wear app also a few times and nothing, still not working.
If I install the Google camera on my phone which also has this features it works perfectly fine, the shutter on the watch for the Google camera opens instantly but with the stock moto camera nothing happens...
If I check the apps on my watch using the wear app there is a Motorola app installed but I don't know what it is for because I can't see it on the watch apps...
Any help will be much Appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hi all,
I have a new Sony Smartwatch 3 for nearly a month. When my android smartphone OPPO F1 Plus was paired with Sony Smartwatch 3 for the first time, everything was displayed on Smartwatch. However, 1 or 2 days later it didn't show anything except incoming call. I have tried factory data resetting for smartphone and paring them again but the same situation occurred, i.e., it displayed everything just for 1 or 2 days then nothing showed except incoming calls.
I have checked things from both smartphone and smartwatch. I am using Android Wear app version 2.0.0.155409452.gms on smartphone and no other apps are blocked for its setting and it shows that SmartWatch3 is connected by bluetooth. On SmartWatch3 the setting for notifications is set to "all".
Anyone have ideas to solve this issue.
thanks.
Luyen.
same here
I had the same exact problem on my sw3, but i am rooted with twrp custom recovery
to solve the problem i rebooted into recovery and wiped cache and dalvik cache
i think that if you're not rooted you have to reset watch to factory
I have had the same problem since April. Many factory resets later I still have the problem.
Have you disabled the android wear app from battery optimization?

For anyone else who is eyeing the Android 10 release today (eg Pixel owners) - after updating, my phone was getting really hot in my pocket, and the only thing I could find going berzerk was the galaxy wear suite. I un-paired my watch (seemed to cool down after) and attempted to re-pair later at home, which required a factory reset & restore from backup, which has stalled out and failed on me twice now. I've cleared cache/data on the Samsung apps, uninstall/reinstalled. No luck. Samsung app crashes when trying to open any time after the initial pairing.
So for now at least there appears to be some bugs they need to work out.
If you go ahead with the update like I did:
1) make sure to back your watch up first
2) good luck
I'd be curious to see if anyone else has this issue or has had success post update.

Sounds like it's not worth the effort!

Eh, worth it to some - early adopters get to weed out the bugs for everyone else
(sort of) got it working today, at least enough to make it through a restore apparently. The Samsung app still crashes after you open it, so I can't get to any settings, but the oddest/most annoying thing is that every few seconds the handshake with the watch pops up a notification that says "Samsung Accessory Service - Transferring file. Please wait."
Coincidentally, my phone battery life tanked after getting the watch working again. Not sure if they're connected, but this phone-watch connection appears to be awfully high maintenance.
EDIT: Solution found
Finally got some time to dig in w/ logcat tonight & it was a simple fix - the com.samsung.android.samsungpay.gear plugin was throwing a ClassNotFoundException upon launching the Samsung Wearables app which was completely locking it up. I hadn't even thought to look for that - I was so focused on the Wearables app itself and the Galaxy Watch plugin.
So to summarize -
Symptoms:
- Samsung app freezes completely at some point during initial pairing and forever-after.
- Watch restore from backup hangs mid-way through transferring an app (my usual contender was the weather app hanging between 75-85%)
- This causes the background service to continually try to download and kills your phone battery (even after power cycles on phone and watch)
Solution: Uninstall the Samsung Pay Plugin (and re-attempt pairing/backup if you were in the middle of that when it failed.)
unfortunately brings no effect, app crashes even after reinstalling all components and repair. Samsung once again not packed. A normal use of the smartwatch is currently not possible on Android 10.

Did you reinstall the Samsung Pay plugin? I completely removed that and only used the main Galaxy Wear app and Galaxy Watch plugin (admittedly cleared cache and data on each as well) and had zero issues so long as I did /not/ reinstall the Samsung pay plugin.
I have not installed the pay-plugin. if I start the Samsung Wearable app freezes it, can not operate and closes after about 5 seconds itself.

Yep, that's the exact symptom I had w/ the pay plugin. Note that the wearable app downloads the pay plugin externally, not via the play store, so I strongly recommend doing one last check through your phone's list of installed apps for any "*plugin" Samsung apks. Mine was listed under the 'p's, not with the other Samsung plugins under 's' so it's worth some scrutinizing of the list.
If not that (your symptoms are identical to mine, which is why I keep harping that one), it's difficult to know more w/o an adb logcat capture.
Many thanks!!! You were right! The pay plugin was still installed on my pixel. Have it uninstalled and now the Wearable - App works!
Hiho,
I bought a Note 8T for my Girlfriend. IT works so far. But WE have some Problems with the notification for calls, WhatsApp etc. On the miband. When she is using the Phone and sometime after she Put it down, the notification Transfer to the miband is working. But after a while it stops. Then she gets calls and WhatsApp notification on the Phone, but Not on the miband. Only when she Takes the Phone again and use it, all notification transfer to the miband. I already reboot the miband and uninstall the mifit app etc. And did all the setup which is explained at the miband to get notification. But nothing works. It seems like the phone cuts off the transfer to the miband after a while. Does anybody know how to solve this ?thx
Regards

Purchased and received and new Dasaita Max 10- installed a couple days ago. I was asked to update. I did and now some apps are hidden. when i go into settings- apps- the AVIN app, which i use for an external dvd player is there, but i cant select it to put it on the main screen. Any suggestions?
Specific apps are hidden depending on the factory settings. If you deactivate front camera AVIN app is hidden. If you deactivate carplay....no zlink app will be shown.... and so on.
Check your factory settings to unhide apps according to your installed hardware

How do you like your Max10? I am debating on getting the Dasaita Max10 for my Rav4.

Hey I had the same issue. I went to apps and found the launcher and just cleared data. All my apps came back.
