unfortunately, that is one of those love-mei cases. they are not waterproof one bit. maybe water resistant, but not water proof whatsoever. They also weigh quite a bit. They are not a very good case IMO. Just thought i would warn you

Has anyone heard about new cases available for the HTC Desire.
I've had a case from Dragonfly for a while, but it has started cracking now and I fancy something new.
Has anyone got a good suggestions?
search for GEL cases off ebay.
Haven't got a desire, but got one on my Hero and it looks fantastic.
Don't get RUBBER or SILICONE, they're weak!
I've done a bit of research and I think I might look in to a Case-Mate case.
Has anyone had one before.
I don't want it to crack like me current has...
I agree with DDotPatel
I have used used gel cases on basically all of my phone and I have never had an issue with them, the protection they provide is great, and its not too thick either.

The gelli range of cases from case-mate seem to be good value.
I have seen them on sale for about £14.99...

Agree. They have very good comments in Amazon.
Personally I am not a great fan of bulky case so I like something lightweight and slim back cover and gives basic protection.
Ordering 2 of these plus postage is roughly $10 from NeTimes
Hi,
I'm looking for a very protective case for when I go hiking or stuff like that. I want to make sure that if I happen to drop the phone or have it my pocket and lean against a rock and forget I had it my pocket, no harm will be the done to the phone. Basically a case for an outdoors/nature type of environment.
I don't care about aesthetics because this will not be my normal day case...
I was thinking of the Candy Shell one: http://www.speckproducts.com/smartphone-cases/candyshell-grip-for-htc-one.html
Does anyone have it? Is it good for the kind of needs I described? Or do you have a better suggestion?

I'd recommend an Otterbox Defender Series case, somewhat expensive but they protect the phone well.

On ebay you can find it way cheaper.
Can't post a link because I don't have enough posts, but you can search for it and the cheapest I found was € 15, so approx. $ 20.

That's a nice price...
I found it cheaper on Amazon, still not as cheap as the one you mentioned. I'll have to take a look...
IMHO, after testing various cases for HTC one, the best one regarding overall protection is the double dip original case, being the only one actually protecting the speakers grills.
That case a little trimmed to fit the phone with the MIME glass on it is by far the most complete protection (and is looking good also).

Maybe for everyday use. But while your hiking I highly doubt it will do much protecting against possibly sharp rocks and falling more than your average pocket/ear height.

Then ... http://www.goballisticcase.com/products/htc-one-ballistic-sg-maxx-series-case
The major problem is that the speaker grills are completely exposed (like all cases unfortunately).
I am looking for a good case that wont ruin my bank account as I am a student and usually have no money lol... I was loking at these cases and was wondering if any of you guys have bought or seen them in the wild and have an opinion about them:

Thanks!
Don't order from Spigen. They marked my item as shipped, but didn't actually ship it until a week later.
Also, it seems more miss than hit with the quality of many of Spigen's cases.

Ive been reading mixed reviews about them but so far havent heard anything bad about ringke. Might get one of theirs but ive only seem the slim ones that dont really look like they offer any drop protection, which is what im looking for lol.
ive got the spigen ultra hybrid, as mentioned, their shipping is a little bit sketchy, but the case is great. the free screen protector is nice to have just in case, the buttons work great, and access to all the ports. i would definitely reccomend the ultra hybrid
what about this one?
http://www.amazon.com/Acase-Superle...=cm_cr_pr_product_top?tag=androidcentral00-20
seen this case and curious if anyone has any experience with it?
i really like my neo hybrid case, a little on the pricey side but it provides everything i want (thin but all corner/side protection with screen spacing).

regarding the Fosmon case - I searched and searched and could not find a review. I did see they are $3.95 on ebay with free shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Slim-Flexib...Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&var=&hash=item43c190797f
I mean for $3.95... worth the risk I suppose.

i got the Ringke fusion and hate it. Poor materials, poor fit and they charged me 2 weeks before shipping it.
I've been looking for a waterproof case, but I can't seem to find anything. (Anything that doesn't look like a plastic bag, anyway.) I was looking at the Incipio Atlas, but I can't find any place that sells them. Are there any other options?

Did you search it at eBay or amazon?
Yup. I emailed incipio and they said it was still in development and wouldn't be for sale for a couple more months. Nothing else exists as far as I can see.
I would've thought with the popularity of this phone, more companies would be supporting it. Pretty disappointing.

Just curious why you would want a waterproof case with the phone having the nano coating? I know obviously that doesn't mean waterproof but its damn close! Take a look at the 30min water test with the moto g: http://youtu.be/IVaTKG5q4YI?t=14m1s
Now i know you would want some extra protection with a phone thats a bit more expensive but I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I am looking for a case so I can use my phone on a 4 Wheeler and Snowmobile for GPS. Given the nature of both sports, I don't feel the coating is a safe enough bet. I am not looking for a day-to-day carry case. :good: The last thing I want to do is go for an 8 hour ride in a snow storm and risk ruining a phone that could've been protected.
Anyone can recommend a good waterproof case for HTC10?
So far i've only seen the universal waterproof cases, was hoping to find something like Krusell SealaBox 3XL or LifeProof FRE type of cases.
If you find one please post. I'm hunting and can't find anything what so ever.
I would love one too.
I also would like a waterproof/dust proof case. I have the HTC active pro case on my M9 and it is pretty nice. I am a mechanic that does a lot of welding and iron dust kills my phones without a good case. Will post back here if I ever find one!

If I were you I would question the quality of that. I had it for my iphone never find the guts to put that case into water it feels like it is not going to do the job.
Think twice.

It does say resistant and not to completely submerge. All I see for that is the universal bag type
Here is the same one, but a little cheaper and a few more reviews (not great)
https://www.amazon.com/Tomplus-Aluminum-Protective-Resistant-Shockproof/dp/B01E7H0P2E
I have seen those cases on Amazon before, and I can't tell if the speaker ports would be covered or not. The redpepper case for my m7 and the active pro case for my m9 both had a membrane covering the speaker ports. That is what keeps the metal dust from my clothing out and kept the speakers from blowing. I went through several m7 replacements until I found that cheap case on Amazon and haven't had a problem since.
Thanks for the link.
