Live in goo manager. Just thought I'd let you all know!

Just installed. Running smoothly, none of the issues I experienced in RC2 so far. Great work.

Its a stable version so it should work. I can't answer because I hate BT lol But give it a shot. I'm also using the latest AK CYLON kernel. His work is usually flawless

Thanks Heath. Was a bit reluctant to reflash as I've spent a few days tweaking my RC1 build and have a shed load of apps loaded for my boys to play with..
I may wait until someone posts a positive on hands free before rebuilding again.

I don't use Bluetooth and can't confirm it working, but this ROM is just awesome!
It has all the features you will need and it runs really smooth. I can really recommend it. Only thing not working for me is sphere in camera - not a big deal though...

I don't have sphere option in mine. Wouldn't that depend on what gapps you used? I used the latest in goo 20130301

I too use gapps 20130301 from goo and have the sphere option. But when aligning the fist image, the "gallery" closes. I had it working on another ROM, but quality of sphere is really bad when shooting in a room (alignment), so I don't miss it. Maybe/hopefully Google improves it in the next version.
EDIT: Indeed the camera gives me more problems than just a buggy sphere... NO images are taken at all! Not even with a 3rd party camera app!
I think this is a major issue. I read that it should be fixed in Android 4.2.2 but apperently this is not the case. Interestingly I had it working in other 4.2.2 ROMs so maybe there is an issue with this LiquidSmooth release...

Mine is working just fine. Maybe try and redownload gapps and see if that's the issue. I'm not sure if the new gapps has an effect on camera apk though. If all else fails, you could always redownload the ROM and get a clean install.
Edit: Alright just checked and sphere is working here flawlessly.

Bit the bullet and went for the update and tried Bluetooth handsfree. Still not working.:crying:
Connects fine, transfers contacts fine but audio during calls (at any volume level) is distorted and robotic (both ways). Even when connected there is intermittent bursts of quiet and distorted audio through the handset speaker which sounds like the connection is trying to drop out. HTC one, Sony Xperia, HTC Cha Cha, HTC Desire all work perfectly on the same car kit.
Tried all devices on a Saab (2008) Ford (2012) and Renault (2011) all the same. Other devices connect and audio is perfect, S3 distorted.
Anyone recommend a Kernel that they have confirmed BT functionality on in car systems?

Thanks for telling! I always do a full wipe when flashing ROMs but then I realised that other ROMs also had the same problem "suddenly". So I tried it once more with reverting to stock, re-rooting,... and now also deleted my backup of "Android" folder that I otherwise always restore to keep some settings. What should I say? It works again! Smooth and flawless (including sphere)! :victory:

Afaik Google implemented its own Bluetooth stack, which obviously is not that great...
"Android 4.2 introduces a new Bluetooth stack optimized for use with Android devices. The new Bluetooth stack developed in collaboration between Google and Broadcom replaces the stack based on BlueZ and provides improved compatibility and reliability."

I'm afraid you will have to wait for Android 5 or other fixes... (can be wrong though. I'm not so firm with this matter)

I noticed many people here having BT issues. Not sure if this helps for calling but definitely helps for audio. Check it out.

[Q] CM 11 Mustaavalkosta nightly unofficial 01/08/14

Hello to all developers and Specially to Musta.
I'm a huge fan of Mustaavalcosta. because the way he made ace rom are more like stable and smooth as butter,today i installed his cm11 for the 4th time.
Pros: No Lag at all,Very Smooth,Very much stable and many more.
Cons:Battery drains way to fast, Battery section: Screen 78+% usage., Poor wifi connectivity.,Browser issue.
I did try pimp my rom for little over customization in order to get more battery,On an average my desire hd battery last 3 to 3.5 hours straight on wifi watching videos online.But since Musta's first cm11 nightly to subsequent in every rom he made there is always battery draining issue.
So wanted to know is it related to kernel of rom? or anything else? IS anybody facing same kind of a problem?
My Device is Factory S-ON,ROOTED
Help me out,Because i tried plenty of 4.2.2 roms and 4.1 JB roms and only 2 out of all gave me more batteryusage in order to use like 3 or more hours to watch videos online.

I'm new really would like to help out in the dev forum but i think i need 10 helpful post so here is one, which might be useful for you, ive already sent a couple of PM's to peeps that have mentioned this, anyway,
copied and paste to here...
you mentioned about the video on this rom , i too had problems but i managed to get it too work by adjusting the settings, please try this...
Im using build 2014-01-18 nightly cm11 - ace
under video settings - video qaulity: HD 720p
more options - video encoder: H264 , audio encoder: AAC
back out of camera app and then restart , i get clear videos now no choppy lines etc.
also if you swipe to the right to bring up the vid or photo after using the camera/video app, and then go back and the controls are missing, just swype back to gallery and back to camera/video app once more and they appear again.

Problem with sound on streaming radio
Hi
I just want to hear if someone else have the same problem with the sound when streaming radio with Tunein Radio.
After I start listening to a radio station the sound start disappering for short periods. If I close the main program but let the radio
stream in the background everything is OK. But if I enter the main program again the problem with the sound reappear.
Don't know if this problem applies to other radio streaming programs because I'm only tested with Tunein.
I have set the buffer to 15 sek before play, but this had no effect on the problem.

i ve installed the latest cm11 1/25/14 over an old cm 7 that had crashed from one minute of torch and stopped booting up
i really don t know anything about it
any best roms out there?

after an hour or so the screen stopped responding.but the power button showed some signs of life. so i got that going for me

The problem is still in this nightly version.
I have checked this further and this sound problem only appears in this situation:
- the radio cannel is streaming with low sampling frequency (below 80k) and AAC format
- you must keep the phone active ie don't let the screen go to sleep or shut the main program.
It can take from 10 to 30 sek before this problem appears
There is no problem if the radio station streams MP3 regardless of sampling frequency.
Can someone please do some testing and see if you have the same problem as me.

I don't use DSP manager because it's have some problems and V4A works much better. With DI radio, SKY.fm and other audio stream apps i have no audio problems.

-Well actually in my opinion you may go back to any custom rom made for DHD.
-Wipe everything and install fresh in order to avoid boot loop or any other problems!
-Best ROM by mean giving more RAM and great battery life? if yes than i'm using Pixeldroid 4.2.2

Problem with camera using Google Translate
When using camera in Google Translate the camera woun't focus. Even if you tap the screen nothing happens.
Hope this can be fixed as I am using this feature a lot.

Sir,in my opinion if you really wanted to use it...than definitely give a shot but before than its advisable that you make full backup in order to avoid post complications.
Moreover check the appropriate nightly the one you want to flash.Still fingers crossed but if you succeed let us know.

I have found the solution. If you want to use the camera in conjunction with Google Translate just aim at the text you want to translate and take the picture. The camera will then focus on the text and start scanning and translate.

I have downloaded an [UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 Nightlies, the ROM is slow, I have problem with wireless page which I can't open, and I cant seem to find Performance menu or option in it, plus I cant find print screen option or internet-pass through option.

When flashing new nightly,make sure u wipe cache and dalvik then flash the update. That could be your issue. But to get to Dev options click that build number.

Go to APN settings and chose a diff setting...then reboot. If it persists after lots of reboots ..maybe u will have to reflash the rom

After Install: (Recommended)
Please allow some time to boot up after intial boot, you may receive a black screen after second logo, that is fine.
Recommended to wait five minutes on intial boot before doing anything, then do a full restart.
Go to settings then System Updates, then update your PRL and Profile to get data working properly. (If LTE isn't showing up)
To get back Developer Options go in to settings, About phone, choose Software information and rapidly tap Build number until it says your a developer.
Notes:
If knock code does not work on initial set up, go in to settings choose gestures and turn off knockon. Reboot the device and go back to same area and turn it back on, reboot one last time and should work properly.
To get the Mobile Hotspot hack to work properly please Update Profile under System updates in settings.
If you install custom init.d tweaks you must enable the init.d option through the STweaks app by scrolling over to the Other tab and down to Init.d and select enable then reboot. (If using Dorimax Kernal)

Android L launcher, we may look into. G3 launcher.. Hmm not saying impossible, but can look into it. It would definitely be a mod.
He kept it with nova to reduce size.

I really wanted a G3 launcher like from Cloudy's rom but as you know, his roms aren't really fully stable with the LS980, so either one of those launchers would be great, I can see this ROM having GREAT potential

Im not a huge fan of nova, i really like the modified stock look, so i was trying to change from nova to lg home but maybe its not there and i missed that. If so i apologize. But ya, did 2 clean installs, full wipes both times and still got the home screen fc. Thanks. Great rom!

That because there is no LG home screen. It was removed. If you would like the LG g3 home screen, I'm working on an update zip for you. Also there will be the one for android L for those that wanted that.

Music randomly stops playing?
Just converted from CM to PA and absolutely love, but the only gripe is that music randomly stops playing, and I have to go on to the next song to get it working, and it randomly occurs with no set interval, sometimes less than a song-length apart, sometimes 20 minutes apart, etc.
The only instance this ever happens is on Paranoid Android. I've never had the issue on CM nightlies, and I've tried different combinations of Paranoid Android and GApps, which someone stated might have been the issue, but my last attempt was the latest beta with stock signed GApps rather than PA GApps, and the issue is still there, so I'm thinking it's the kernel. Google's brought me to Samsung solutions, some of which I've tried but nothing. Was wondering if this is an outstanding issue or is it just my device.

I'm fairly certain that this is a known bug on this rom.

Running Beta3 without any issues. It's just that the double tap to wake stops working without any reason.
Have rebooted, wiped cache and dilvik cache but still its not working.
Any ideas!!

i just installed Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 and there's no sound. is there any sort of workaround for this?

It was a known issue, but beta 5 is out, no issues

Xposed module called pic2sd or something similar

I've been peeking around XDA for probably around two years now if not longer, and have been running PA on my M8 since Beta 2. I have to say, I love this ROM - so simple, yet so sleek. I don't have any known bugs as of yet for B5 :good: and I look forward to continued updates! Thank you again for all your work!

So when going into floating mode with hangouts it seems to close any app in currently using using beta 5 clean flash any reasons as to why?

having this issue with google play music and also pandora app.
a song will play, next song starts, plays for about 5 seconds. then sound stops.
who else is having this issue? and have found a work around?

Not on PA at the moment so I can't test, but do you have a theme applied? And are you on the PA kernel? I crossed through a random post somewhere where the user deselected his theme and apparently it's been fixed.

Sure it will be. But since I work at this alone right now, I dont have the time to update all devices at the same time.

In terms of observations, you're doing great for an alpha build! I have noticed that AudioFX will stop responding after a little while of listening to music on Bluetooth. This doesn't actually stop the music (or even make the music sound different so not a big issue). Secondly I have noticed the same clock issue that was present when installing custom kernels. The date resets itself and than then throws up a WhatsApp error because it knows the phone can't have gone back in time. Its already been solved by the custom kernels dev's so hopefully just a quick pull from github.
Otherwise I would say a very usable build and I will be staying on this as my daily
Requests: I would have several but one hopefully quick one would be to have the ability to hide the Root icon. That option would fit nicely in Settings, Status Bar, Status Bar Icons.

Got a few questions about where this may go?
1) Will you do any work on the kernel or will you leave that sort of stuff to other devs?
2) Any view on OTA's and Delta OTA's so we don't have to do full ROM flashes?
3) would you consider adding the ability to control the media scanner. Frequency of scan, manual scan and stop scan at boot?
4) I have reduced resolution and DPI. As such the boot animation goes out of line. Would you be able to include the coding to properly select resolution (rather than having to go to terminal) and then change Tue boot animation to the correct resolution)?
Fully appreciate that you are currently a team of one person. Some or all of these may not fit with your vision of the ROM so no worries if you don't take them on board.
