Marshmallow rom for VK810 - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
Is there any marshmallow custom rom available for Gpad 8.3 vk 810? I saw some for gpad 500 but doubt those are compatible with 810 and don't want to brick.
Cheers
Lhrt

No, there isn't any Marshmallow for the VK810 - neither official or custom. I would've been happy if they had at least updated to 5.1.1.

That's bad. I was expecting a Cynogenmod port.

Any one tried v500 roms on vk810. I guess hardware specs are the same.

On CyanogenMod 12.1 and earlier for the VK810, Mobile Data never worked. I don't think GPS or Bluetooth worked either. Besides memory leaks at the time, those were deal killers for me. A friend on here was fooling with making CM13 for the VK810 six months ago, but the one he had me try flashing just to test bricked it until I restored to stock.

@lhrt [VK810] [altev] [CM13] Invisiblek's Unofficial

I will give it a try

Optimus g ?

Soo im going to my self a new device tomorow and got my eye on the optimus g and nexus 4
Wich one should i get???
On one hand i get all the latest and greatest and i like the stock android rather than lg's ui and with the optimus g i get LTE and an extra 16 gb of storage...
I also have some concernes... Ive seen complaints on the web about the optimus g overheating.. Any of you experiencing it ?
Lg ui gesture is the most fluid and smooth ui.far better than tw and sense.not so much bloat and most of those apps you will find them useful.we already have 4.2.2,with almost no bugs, but it can be a daily driver.i don't have heating problems and i'm a power user, runing this phone like crazy.didn't notice to get hotter than my previous devices.
The only advantage of n4 is the vanilla.but g is over n4 on every other aspect.better cpu, better camera, bigger storage, even microsd slot in some cases.
Of course the final call is yours.

A stock OG only has 4.1.2 at the moment. You can flash a custom rom after rooting and unlocking and get 4.2.2 though.
I may be wrong but before I flashed a 4.2 ROM yesterday, the last update put me up to 4.1.2.

So far I havent heard anything about it. If you do decide to flash a rom I reccomend http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228880
I've been using it since yesterday morning and its been nothing but awesome. I'm sure you do know that unlocking bootloaders and rooting voids warranty so it is a use at your own risk method.

Have anyone installed Mokee rom

The question
YES.....
Installed Mokee 4.4.4 on LG F240L.
It is working awesome.
I can't explain in words my experience.
USING CM11 on F240 ............... Dream comes true.
One and Only issue i am facing is sometimes WIFI can't connect to already connected networks.
I dont know how this mokee is. But for the lg optimus g 970 it was the best
can you share the link for 4.4.4 build... thank you

Cloudy G3 is based on the stock LG ROM. Unless I'm misunderstanding the question, I believe the OP is asking about a stock Android ROM - meaning AOSP.
Devs are working hard to get Cyanogenmod / AOSP as stable as possible, but like always there will never be an ETA. We were told they would be working on the issues this week, so you can expect to see some things happening over at the TMO Orig Dev / CM thread. THANKS
ROM posts with the work "when" in them dont get much attention round here.
Do a search and be paitent

[Q] G Pad 7.0 & 8.3

After some searching I do not see many links between the G Pad 7.0 & the 8.3 on terms of ROMs, kernels, etc.
Is there any compatibility between the two? So different and so few that 7.0 support is not worth Dev investment?
Thanks for any feedback!
I'm very curious about this too! Been looking for answers for days

Word!
I have both and they are totally different devices. The 7.0 is basically a nexus 7 2012 with an SD card. Less RAM, slower processor and lower resolution than the 8.3. Still a nice little device that you can pick up for a good price but it is not the same as a V500/510.
I too would like cyanogenmod on my VK410.

[Q] Lollipop ROM for VK810

Hello all,
Just curious if there is any Android 5.0.x for VK810 version of the GPAD yet.
From my understanding, Verzion Gpad 8.3 and GPE have the exact same hardware. If that is the case, can you port GPE ROM on to VK810?
Thank you
Bump.....any wonderful devs out there

Nope, not yet. If it happens, it probably won't be very soon. Wish it would at least get stock Lollipop.
