Here is what you need to do.
1. Download the CWM by skin from http://www.multiupload.com/IGKG2L5RAF and the Cranium ROM.
2. After finish downloading, do not extract it. Just put it in your SD card
3. Re-boot into recovery mode by pressing 'Home'+'Vol Up'+'Power' button
4. Choose 'apply update from sd card' by using the volume key
5. Find 'Skin1980-GT-S5360 CWM.zip' and install it. It will boot you into CWM recovery
6. Choose 'install zip from sd card' and install the Cranium ROM that you have put in ur sd earlier on.

Guys, I'm still stucked on stock ROM. I don't have time due to academic works (I'm working on a thesis) and good internet connection. Well, the thing is, I wanna create a custon ROM too.

Got a problem downloading the link of CWM Recovery of Skin. Can someone help me to this stuff? Btw, I tried to download it using my SGY thru wifi connectivity, then, it will start to download but it will fail after a few seconds, then, force closes my browser..

In the first post you can see all the important infomation about what works and what does not work, i'm still testing it. After more than 12hours of use i very heppy with it.
Using Devil kernel now, very good battery time etc.
I think the best way for you to see if it's good for daily use is trying it.
Just read all the first post and all will be fine.
About acquiring network to make calls and send sms it can take some time every boot and when you change network type.
But till now i did not got problem with lost calls and i'm in a very bad area almost with no signal strenght. One more thing about it is that the icon in status bar is always full of signal when you have some even if its low. Still debuging.
Any other question just ask.

Not Yet, i'm working to port it, i'm almost finished just having trouble wth TVout that i in th same app.
But you can try voodoo for now i think is included in some good kernels.

At this moment it's not really working with stock music.
I'm trying to mount EMMC in sdcard so it an be scanned by the apps.
Can you post the differences to Miui 2.1.13 ? What is specialy "your" work?

My work is in first post.
I just grabbed MIUI ICS for Nexus S and i changed some libs, bins, etc so it can work on our SGS.
The chages in apps and that kind of stuff the rest is all MIUI ICS Official

I can confirm that, it is VERY buggy.
After you start the tablet, wait for a couple of sec, you'd be greeted by nothing but a black screen.
You could tap the power on button twice to get it to work, but you'd only see the status bar, nothing else.
Sometimes tapping the back button and menu button randomly could get the Samsung setup wizard out, but even the wizard appears to be buggy.
First being during the Wi-Fi setup, when you're prompted to type in the Wi-Fi password, the keyboard would pop-up for a brief second and then go off again, making it impossible to type in anything.
Second is even if you skip all those, alright, the system appears to be working, the system, mobile data, yeah, those are fine.
However, the glitchiness continues, the power menu sometimes appears to be invisible, some of the pop-up option menu appears to be invisible, installing a third-party keyboard the UI element does not work properly either.
Also, the tablet hung up after installing some APKs through ADB, the status bar became distorted, I suspect that to be a system UI issue too.
All in all, all the rendered UI element appears to be buggy. That's the only thing that needs to be fixed.

Hello, i just flashed your ROM (v2) using latest CWM and according to your install instructions.
I am reporting that these problems (black screen during setup wizard, nonfunctional keyboard) also happened to me.
The ROM is therefore unusable, i cannot continue in further testing...

I discovered a fix quite a while ago. Unfortuneately, you must flash the stock 4.4 ROM image with Odin first, and then flash the recovery, AND THEN flash this ROM. Very tedious, and I wouldn't suggest using this one anyways. The other "Stock, deoxed" ROM that's on this subforum is somewhat better.
Nope nothing wrong with this ROM it is good esp when you flashed it with the latest Wolf Kernel.
Might be your firmware is coming from a diff region.

Which version are you on? Have you updated Google play services. Restart, try connecting again. Otherwise remove Google account from settings, restart and add the account again.

The only files deleted in v3 is stock exchange and email and included Gmail exchange. Should not cause this issue. I have myself updated all apps from playstore.

Dunno what is the issue V2 works with no problem at all but with V3 cant synch properly and clicking on Google Search it freezes and forced closed.
Now back to V2 still good for me, might be that Egypt FW does not fancy Malaysia based :banghead:

Have you tried clean install. Would suggest you backup, clear cache, dalvik, format /system and flash. Meanwhile Spain firmware NJ3 is out. Am trying to download from sammobile but just stops in between. Will try to get it today.

Sammobile dunno what is taking them so long for the October version. Maybe Sammy is still working on it..so slow

but with my stock ROM 4.4.2 doesn't work, I have not audio.r_submix.default.so file in /system/lib/hw directory
Do you think that using this ROM I can reach my purpose ?

Sorry you will have to try it yourself cause I do not use it myself. If stock rom could not help you, then I doubt this will.

Please make sure you are on latest recovery. Also if you were on JB, flash stock Kk rom first, root, install recovery, flash my rom

Cannot install GApps
I´ve installed your Lollipop Rom and I just Love it. Thanks for you hard work
But I´ve got a problem with installing GApps. If i try to install it with th cyanogen Recovery it just say these two things:
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
Hope someone can help me

if u make some researches u will find out that cm recovery is broken for all devices. It could flash but from sideload, or else just install twrp.
Haven't tried mobile internet yet but calling works great (really, seems that call quality is better than before). Overall, ROM is great, everything works great so far (I've had a few FC but faaaaar less than I expected). Battery life seems quite normal so far, no random reboots or atomic warfare. All in all - a wonderful thing for me and I really appreciate what you've done. Thanks a lot!

When i connect my bluetooth headphones it worksfine butvafter sometimes there is no sound. The music plays but no sound from the headphones. In buuetooth settings itvshows that the headphone is still connected. Help please

I told u no, u can't flash it on a locked bootloader. Not possible.
I have rooted my phone and installed dualrecovery.....and i know how to unlock bootloader......can you pls explain further...

U have to get on sony dev website to ask unlock key, then back up ur sh*t cuz u gonna loose everything, and finally u open flashtool and press blu button and follow steps...its easy as fu*ck
And don't be lazy...all informations/tutorials are available on xda, use searchbox
This is not a problem but a request. As its not possible to select wcdma only, or lte only. Could you please include that as most of the time it select GSM network by default.

Meanwhile @side @Tweakforce_LG here is a miui 8 rom you've been wanting to build so badly, come help us, this rom is far from a finished product.
Edit: The original developer had 2 versions of the ROM (as he said) one was donation package and the otherwas promotion package which came with Chinese apps. Unfortunately I taught the updated ROM had a promotion package, But it didn't. I posted the wrong link thinking it was the promotion package. I have already reverted link to previous one.
The donation package costs 20 Yuan for anybody willing to help us.

multilanguage app and google play instaler
(download rom 'mi3' from en.miui.com, unpack and take app multilanguage would you like, a most install like normal app)

To get the newer version you have to donate some money to rom maker

there are still few reboots here and there, I don't have a pc for now to get a logcat as I lent it out. While playing with it see if you can fix things.
And oh the standby time is great even with playing music but battery with data on with screen on seems pretty bad I think.

That can be improved with time. And since it's based on CM there are a few kernals out there that may improve battery life.
When this ROM is stable I will thing of installing it

FYI it's surprisingly a stable ROM as everything works.
