Your hboot may not match with the ruu. You can also go back to stock by nandroid backup. :good:

Lock your Bootloader first : fastboot oem lock
And then run the ruu with admin privileges..

when i power on the fone it goes directly to bootloader mode and the bootloader is locked, so i guess i need the ruu file

Finding the right RUU for my M8

This confusing af ... i searched all over the internet still cant flash stock frimware on my phone .
the reason to flash is android is missed up .... random error and sometimes bootloops .

Since you are S-On, you will need to re-lock your bootloader to flash it. The command for that is fastboot oem lock
Then either flash the RUU.zip in fastboot, or use the extSD card method
