Oukitel is a new Chinese OEM with focus on build quality and battery life above everything else, both the K6000 and K1000 have massive batteries with unique reverse charge function so you can use them to charge other devices, but more importantly both phones have full metal construction and well thought design features, this thread will be focused on compiling information and news as well as reviewing both the K6000 and K10000 series, the product number stands for the battery size in mAh
While both K6000 standard is considered low in specification Oukitel will also release higher spec variants of the K6000 like the Pro version
Priced at around 120$ with dual SIM ability and excellent build quality the K6000 is great value as a travel phone or battery bank
I have already received my K6000 and K10000 (almost the same phone with even bigger battery and more rugged design / build) which I will impartiality review soon, please feel free to post your questions and don't forget to vote in my Poll above

Oukitel Shows K6000 Premium, Affordable Phone with 6,000mAh Battery
Aong dozens of phone producers, Oukitel isn’t particularly known. This Chinese brand tries to lure customers by offering some interesting and affordable devices. One of them is Oukitel K6000 Premium that is set to compete with the newest flagships without a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU.
The Oukitel K6000 Premium will sport the high-flying MT6797 Helio X20 chipset, a powerful unit for the price. It’s worth noting that Mediatek wants to improve its image among users, so we hope this chipset will be updated to support an Android Marshmallow. K6000 Premium will also pack a 2K 5,5” AMOLED display and monstrous Li-Pro 6000 mAh battery. AMOLED is quite battery friendly and according to Oukitel, the phone will last up to three days per one charge. It’s a quite realistic result given the battery capacity, and in the box you will find a 9V 2A charger that is ready to charge the phone fast enough.
The phone uses the Sony IMX230 21MP for its primary camera and the Sony IMX219 8MP for the front camera — sensors seen on some high-end Android devices released earlier this year. The K6000 Premium will also have 4GB of RAM, but internal storage isn’t so great at 32GB. Luckily, you can extend it up to 128GB thanks to a microSD card slot.
Oukitel has three variants of K6000 available on the market – K6000, K6000 Pro and K6000 Premium. All the models feature the 6000mAh Li-po battery with quick charge technology, a “2.5D display”, and a metal back and frame with chamfered edges. Here’s a short comparison of them.
While we are still waiting to the Premium model to be officially announced for sale, you can get the standard version of K6000 for $119.99 at Gearbest. It’s a limited offer, so stay frosty!

K6000 Pro with mid range specifications coming in January 2016
Following the release of K6000 a few weeks ago, Oukitel is planning on the second upgrade version of K6000, K6000 Pro. The K6000 Pro has several specs upgraded to meet the mid-range demands, it includes the Display, Chipset, Memory, Camera and fingerprint scanner. The upgrades keeps up with today's mid-end smartphones' specifications.
The display of K6000 Pro uses Gorilla 3 material, 1920*1080P resolution, and 2.5D craftsmanship. The SoC is upgraded to MT6753 1.3GHz, and RAM is extended to 3GB. The phone also packs Sony imx 214 camera sensor, and the location of the primary has been changed to the top middle as you can see from the pictures above. Another major improvement is the fingerprint scanner below the camera. Also the smartphone offers 6000mAh massive battery capacity with 9V 2A quick charge technology. The phone is expected to be available at the beginning of January.
On the other hand, the budget friendly K6000 is now available from the online shops on Oukitel official website: http://www.oukitel.cc/english/stores/ The phone packs noteworthy specs at the price range that's tough to beat.
What price would you pay for the K6000 Pro?

I didn't give up on anything this is in a price range of its own but this year Android phones over 500$ certainly fail to meet their price range
it doesn't replace my flagship or my gaming needs, i have been using it more like a tablet
the k6000 premium with x20 certainly sounds very interesting though
I wrote about smoothness in the other thread, its surprisingly smooth the launcher at 60fps even floating video and the animation is 0.5x out of box

What a pity: I would consider the upcoming flagship, K6000 Premium, to be my next phone. They did it everything right, except for having 2 slots instead of 3 for SIM and memory *sigh*

you want three slots? you mean three SIMs and one of them takes the SD? thats crazy as it will require more modems
but if you mean you want the SD card seperated well then i think you have a point, but its surely a cost and space saving measure, a lot of Chinese OEMs are applying this lately but in case of K6000 you can't really blame them, the device is under 150$ for pete sake

guys i have a request please, those interested in these devices can you please contribute to the Poll in the top? its really interesting to know if people want build quality and big battery for less specs

No, I am with you: I would like just 2 SIM and 1 SDXC. And the price tag is awesome! However, I would not mind to pay extra for this 2 SIM + 1 SD. If the K6KP would have such, I'd be already like "Shut up and take my money"

I picked middle ground but it is a very important feature to me - I would never get a phone with the battery soldered in. I want to have the option of a spare pack or, better, a beast like zerolemon.

New Android Phone Boasts 15-Day Battery Life: Meet Oukitel’s K10000 mAh Monster
A new Android smartphone is boasting a 10,000 mAh battery with 15 days of life. Check out the details on Oukitel's upcoming K10000 Android Phablet.
Smartphone battery life. It is truly the bane of modern life. While most of us are overjoyed when our phones make it over a day, what if you could get over a week of use without charging? This is the promise one company is making for its upcoming Android phone release. Meet Oukitel’s K10000 smartphone.
This Android smartphone gets its name from the 10,000 milliamp-hours ( mAh) battery power storage the smartphone boasts. While the average modern smartphone carries a battery with 1,500 – 3,000 mAh of battery power, the battery in the K10000 is over three times the amount of even the largest smartphone batteries.
According to a report by The Techoholic the phone is expected to get some 10-15 days. But comparing the battery capacity to other smartphones on the market, we’re a little more skeptical of that number. The K100000 has about 3 times the battery life of an iPhone 6S Plus, which lasts at best around 1.5 days. By comparison then, the K10000 would last roughly 5 days with regular usage beyond just phone calls.
Still, five days of battery life is nothing to blink at, and maybe something people who frequently travel or are distant from a charger, might consider. The Android phablet will be relatively affordable too. Priced at $239.00 US dollars and shipping out in January, it’s a backup device worth considering.
But, the larger question some may have is, how does the phone perform? What kind of specs are we looking at?
Quite honestly, the specs could be better but they aren’t terrible.
The Oukitel K10000 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS. It has a full steel frame that is 9 mm thick and weighs 184 grams. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU, and comes with 2 GB of RAM. There are 16 GB of internal memory but you can expand up to 32 GB via microSD card. The operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is smart gestures capable and allows for Xender file transfer.
As far as the camera, it comes with a modest 8-megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone LED flash. The front includes a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
If you’re thinking the K10000 could be a good addition to your collection of devices, check out Gearbeast. You can purchase the K10000 there for $239.99. The phone ships Jan. 2.

the revert writer couldn't think for himself that the k10000 has much lower specs and under-clocked CPU compared to the iPhone 6s Plus and hence this why it lasts longer mAh for mAh
you can also see the grey/black K6000 in the video
but i must say Oukitel really need to take it easy on the cheesy stuff
.
Anandtech's Ian Cutress talks about his move from the HTC One Max to CUBOT H1, a very similar phone to the K6000 with 52000mAh
http://www.anandtech.com/show/9868/c...-test-5200-mah
keep in mind its almost the same specs as the K6000, except that it has smaller battery, more expensive and made of plastic
anyway thanks to this review, we have benchmarks of the MT6735P and 2GB DDR3 combo (Cubot H1) against other devices:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/9868/cubot-h1-smartphone-test-5200-mah/4
also check the battery stats at the end of this page which is slightly less than the K6000
So let's put it this way - the H1 on a full charge breaks the Geekbench3 test to the point that it thinks you are cheating. Oops.
With the PCMark test it gets over 15hrs compared to the 6hrs of the Galaxy S6. When you have a large battery and not many pixels to push, with the right efficiency the device will last a night out with only 25% left in the tank in the way that high end smartphones do not. Anecdotally, as I'm writing this, I just spent a few hours in meetings across the other side of London - I spent 30 minutes each way on the tube with Evernote open and being used (albeit with no wireless or updates), and the battery went down from 38% to 33%. That's an hour of solid writing with black text on white for at most 5% of battery.
When I first started using the H1, the graph on the left was my battery usage estimation. Saying ‘approximiately 4 days left’ is almost unheard of, but with a regular 10% screen on time, the result was the graph in the middle, successfully predicting four days of battery. On the right is another example of my use, although a little bit more aggressive with some charging. Yes, I can confirm that there seems to be something wrong with those percentage calculations. But a quick charge in airplane mode for a few minutes gives a few percentage points of battery – while a lot of smartphones offer quick charging for the capacity to fill quickly, it still depends on the capacity drain of the SoC. It helps to have the best of both worlds. Of course, the downside of this is that it can take 3hrs and up to fully charge the H1. The H1 does come with a cable so you can charge other devices though, as 5200 mAh matches some battery packs.

Final Words
I'll be brutally honest - while I keep a good tab on some elements of the smartphone market, more so on the business side, when it comes to deep dive analysis I leave it in the hands of Josh, Andrei and Brandon. That doesn't mean I don't need a device though, and despite their suggestions it seems I wanted a lot and wasn't prepared to spend the money. As a technical editor, my search for a smartphone caused a series of positive and negative feedback loops - some days I'd decide that DRAM was the most important, whereas others it would be the display resolution or the storage capacity. In the end it comes down to compromise and what is good and within range at the time I was looking. At one point I was adamant I wanted something more powerful than a Snapdragon 600 series, but I've ended up with a quad core MediaTek A53 device running at low frequency. There were some no-brainers – it had to be big enough and good enough to work on when I have short 20 minute public transport trips, and support dual SIM so I don’t have to keep losing my SIM card each time I travel.
The CUBOT H1 was the result of the search. It’s a smartphone that boasts 5200 mAh of battery, which is 3.4x the size of the battery in the iPhone 5c or 2x the battery in the Galaxy S6. When combined with the 1280x720 screen and the 1 GHz quad-core SoC, it gave 4 days of standard use battery which translated to 15 hours and 26 minutes on the PCMark battery test that runs from 100% to 20%, beating the Zenfone 2 by over nine hours. That is pretty much pre-2000 smartphone territory, more akin to what we used to have when playing games like Snake.
My smartphone use case has adapted over time – I want it to do work on. That means writing, switching between apps, being somewhat responsive, and always being available. The SoC means it doesn’t break any sort of record for performance, but ultimately so much of my use doesn’t require performance but rather latency in app switching and updates. Having enough memory to keep apps available means a lot, so moving up from 1GB to 2GB was a big enough change to notice, as well as the bump up to Android 5.1. The 16GB storage model is pretty basic, and the microSD compatibility is only at 32GB, rather than something bigger, and I know it will fill over time with the consistent photographing of my cats. But that is a risk that I’m going to have to take, or synchronize with Dropbox.
Without the silicone case that comes free with the phone, I will grant that despite the patterned edge, it does feel like the plastic the rear is made from, and arguably it slips out of the hand too easily. With the silicone case, it just feels like a smartphone with a case, which a lot of people use anyway. The raised power and volume buttons helps discern their location, and the fixed buttons is something I like to have on my device, even if it means giving up screen real estate.
It is clear that the cameras are not for taking glamour shots. But at a trade show, as long as you are in the front row, and have a second or two between shots, taking pictures of slides to work on later is good enough. To get a good shot taking advantage of the EIS though, you really need to use the burst mode which supports 40 shots at 13 MP each. The video is also an afterthought. That comes down to the price and what needs to be cut to meet that price. I purchased the device, brand new from Amazon, for £125 which translates to $160 pre-tax. Almost everyone I showed the phone to, probably due to the battery life argument, thought it was more expensive. The only people who guessed under (and only by $10) were a pair of senior ARM employees. But truth be told, I could buy four of these a year and it would still be cheaper than an S6. Of course, there are obvious caveats with that comparison.
I would say that this is going to be my phone for the next two years. But since I purchased it in October, two extra high end smartphones that others at AnandTech have tested have both landed on my desk for similar experiential testing. It almost seems sad to shelve the Cubot H1 immediately unless I adapt to carry two phones at once, with the H1 as that long-battery backup.

But for the first time you need to connect the phone on internet via mobile network of WIFI to get working GPS.
After that it can work normally without mobile network of WIFI.
Also I have found that chinese shop Tomtop is giving a $4 discount with coupon code: cubot1
and if you want you can buy it at this link using the coupon.
Any questions please ask
Thank you

Water-Proof Test of the DOOGEE T5
DOOGEE T5 is the world’s first smartphone that combines the DIY style with 3-proofing. The Rugged Nature and Exchangeable Style, makes you have more choices basing on the environment's appearance and style.
They made a water-proof test (IP67 protection). If it resists, it means surviving in the harsh outdoor environment is not a problem.
Website: http://www.doogee.cc
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/doogee.cc
Twitter: https://twitter.com/DOOGEE_official
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/doogee_official
IP67 Protection, what does it mean?
DOOGEE has labeled the T5 with IP67 Certification so to understand its level of water resistance we need to check what IP67 certification means. The certification system is administered by the International Electrotechnical Commission and can be broken down as follows:
IP stands for Ingress Protection
- The first digit is on a scale of 0 to 6 and represents the level of dust protection the device offers (higher numbers are better)
- The second digit is on a scale of 0 to 9 and represents the level of water protection the device offers (higher numbers are better)
Based on this scale (and according to the IEC), the DOOGEE T5 should offer full dust protection and water protection when submerged in up to 1 meter of water for a 30 minute duration.
Considering its Rugged design, i would expect even better protection from this smartphone, but is has been certified as IP67 so any other test that doesn't meet this spec. then it would be at your own risk.
Also, for those who are interested, the DG700 (practically the device on which the T5 is based on) is now even more discounted than before (because its successor is near the door), but this is a limit offer until this weekend.
The DOOGEE T5 is kind of upgraded version of the DG700, which also combined the 3-proofing with the similar luxury appearance. The back cover has two choices, the crocodile texture calfskin and lambskin.
This is the DOOGEE DG700 thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/doogee-titans-2-dg700-unboxing-hands-t2953664
If you can’t wait for the T5, you can buy a DG700 first because that's still a good device that shares many features.

DOOGEE is waiting for your creative slogan for T5. The slogan can be humorous or poetic, but brief. They will giveaway 3 different gifts (one is the T5).
Follow the FB link and write your slogan
Time Limit: July 29 - August 14 (2016 of course)
Finally it is Official!
The DOOGEE T5 will be launched on the 15th of August on DOOGEE's Official Website, where there will be a voting activity with the theme "The businessport phone, which style would you like?". Anyone can vote by choosing the Business T5 or the Sporty T5.
As a first round, it will be available on all official licensed stores, that can be found on the DOOGEE's website, then it will be also available on eBay & Amazon starting from mid-September.
Features:
Dual Style & IP67
The DOOGEE T5 is the world's first phone that combines dual appearance with IP67. It provides two appearances to be changed in seconds, and the relevant UI as well. Reaching IP67 rate, it means that it proofs water, dust and pressure.
13Mpix with PDAF, a Flagship Camera
Normal tri-proof phones do not perform well as regards photo quality, except the DOOGEE T5. 13Mpix Samsung Rear Camera with PDAF and 5Mpix Front Camera offer an outstanding shooting experience.
Comparison between DG700 & T5:
The DOOGEE T5 is a kind of upgraded version of the DG700. Compared to the quad-core CPU used in the DG700, the 8x 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processors of the T5 highly increases the performance.
The DG700 has 5Mpix front camera and 8Mpix rear camera, while the T5 has 5Mpix front camera and 13Mpix rear camera with PDAF.
Compared with the 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM of the DG700, the T5 has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, and the 32GB ROM memory can be expanded up to 64GB. You can keep all your stuff.
Last, but not least, compared with the 4000mAh battery of the DG700, the T5 has 4500mAh battery and 5V/2A fast charge.

Notification LED?!
Does this phone have a notification LED?
I've been asking in different forums and even the licensed reseller stores, I still don't have an answer! ... It's still a pre-order item.
I held off buying the Blackview BV6000 because of this issue, no notification LED, how can a manufacturer miss this small, yet purposely vital feature?!

Charging/charged LED Notification is not in the settings menu, WTF, is this your 1st phone? .... And what does a video testing its waterproofness have to do with my question?

I mean, check that video, they are showing you the Settings Menu after they take the device from Water (i remember that), so check if in that menu there is any kind of indication to the Notification Light or something similar. (unfortunately there isn't a specific menu name, MTK devices are a bit weird about this)
My reply wasn't too clear, but it wasn't neither so hard to understand...someone needs to calm down it seems...

Doogee released a video of production process for T5:
Probably the best spec of this T5 is the IP67 certification and shock proof integrated frame/case:
I got the device some days ago and yeah it is pretty good.
The chassis is pretty well made, Android works extremely smooth and I haven't faced any issue yet with it. Only the back cover management isn't perfect (if you change the cover/style, the UI theme gets automatically changed, but not always).
As usual, I'll provide you a review of the device soon.
Introduction
This is the businessport DOOGEE T5 Review.
Hardware
This device is powered by a Mediatek MT6753 SOC clocked at 1.3GHz, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. It shares the same classic Rear Camera sensor used by the Redmi 3 Pro (13MP Samsung S5K3L8 with PDAF) while the Front Camera sensor is a 5MP OmniVision OV5648. The manufacturer of the Screen isn't known yet, but it is pretty good and super bright. Follow my next paragraphs to know more.
Unboxing
Packaging comes with an huge amount of accessories, including 2 different back covers and frames for Dual Appearance: 1x Plastic Screen Protector, 1x OTG Cable, 1x SIM/MicroSD tray Eject Tool, 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x 5V/2A USB Charger, 1x Quick Start Guide, and the Smartphone (of course).
As already said before, you will find 2 appearances in order to customize your Device's Style depending on the environment (or the tastes why not). I'll talk about this in one of the next paragraph.
The device has a Rugged Chassis, that mixes Metal, Plastic and Rubber for the best protection possible. Do not forget that this is IP67 Certified, so you can have fun with it without having to worry about its, and probably yours too, safety.
It feels super solid, the best made device i have ever tried as regards build quality. As certified by DOOGEE, and following IP67 protection, it is water-proof (up to 1 meter), dust-proof and pressure-proof. Let's say it, it is also kid-proof haha.
Being a rugged device you can't expect compact sizes, but it is lighter than another device i have tried some months ago that wasn't rugged (CUBOT H2), so DOOGEE did a great job as regards its build quality.
It is 15.37x7.84x1.37mm (using the Sporty Cover, because that's what i like most) and it weights 223g, again not too much considering that it is rugged.
On the front side there is the Standard Display, no 2.5D or anything similar, with big bezels. The upper front side of the device features a Front-Facing Camera, an Earpiece with a nice Silver Frame, and the Sensors hole that includes Light, Proximity and Gesture Sensors. No Notification LED is here unfortunately.
On the lower front side there is only the Soft Keys zone, with Menu, Home and Back buttons. As you might notice, on the upper & lower areas of the device there is a Glossy Finiture, that's the block where the ports are hidden just behind.
On the back side it's where the magic happens. Dual Back Covers, and everytime you change the back cover also the UI gets automatically changed. (basically an automatic theme switch)
The upper rear side of the device features the Samsung Camera Sensor supported by a Single (the Quick Start guide says Dual, but i can only see one) Rounded Flash (Single-Tone) configuration, and nothing else.
The lower rear side of the device features the huge speaker hole, that allows the huge internal speaker to output audio at maximum volume.
Device
DIY Instructions/Demostration (T5 Exclusive!)
So, if you are one of my followers you might have noticed this neverseen paragragh in this review. This device explains why. Being the only one that allows you to change between two styles, i thought that a demostration or anything else about it might be interesting for you all.
Starting from the Screwdriver required to handle the whole process, just imagine which type you need. Yes, a T5 Screwdriver haha.
Anyway, as regards the screws there are two used types, with different size. The longest type is used only with the Sporty sides, while the standard/shorter type is used with the Business sides.
My recommendation is to not use the Screwdriver provided in the package, because it isn't good and i managed to destroy it with just a few usages. This is the only negative aspect i have noticed about the kit.
Use your own Screwdriver, and it will provide you best results without having to worry about its safety.
As you might probably think, is it possible to mix the styles? My reply is: YES! This is what a did to my T5. Business Sides with Sporty Back Cover, providing best protection while leaving the sporty design.
If you want to know more info about this paragraph, just leave here a post and i will reply you.
Screen
The screen is pretty good, super bright but there is a small (barely noticeable) backlight bleeding on the left corner.
Light Sensor works pretty well and it supports smooth light changes. This is the maximum screen brightness.
Viewing Angles are perfect, comparable to an AMOLED screen. (excluding the IPS limitations)
Camera
Rear Camera is a pretty good Samsung ISOCELL, so it provides some nice quality photos on almost every condition. More photos (such as outdoor ones) coming soon, i have a cold right now...
Flashlight isn't perfect, but it is pretty powerful. As you can see, it is a just a bit under-positioned compared to the Camera Sensor. It might be an engineering sample issue maybe, i don't know.
As regards Video Recording, 1080p videos (Video Quality – Fine) are recorded with an high level of details, just remember that there is no OIS so you can’t expect stable videos.
Front Camera records decent photos, and it seems to be a wide-angle variant. Selfie-lovers will appreciate it.
Audio
Speaker is how nearly as good as you would expect from a rugged device. Decently-Loud! Well it lacks low-frequencies a bit, it is slightly muffled maybe due to its waterproof protection but its volume is high.
In-Call Quality is near-excellent, finally an earpiece where there isn't the usual low-clarity sound. Loud (maybe also a bit too much), and with good clarity.
As regards the Microphone, it works decently well in any case (in-call, VOIP, etc...).
The Audio Department has been accurately enough designed, so i thank DOOGEE for taking care about this.
Telephony, Mobile Network & WiFi
Thanks to the 4G Band 20 support (some other Chinese Smartphones don’t have it), I’m almost always and everywhere connected to the 4G Network of my Mobile Network Provider (TIM Italy).
Also 3G Signal Reception is accurate, even though some 3G frequencies are missing, maybe my engineering sample will get other frequencies with an update, who knows.
4G Network Speed is pretty good, it highly depends on your Mobile Operator and mine isn’t pretty good. While 3G Network Speed, is just fine as it should.
WiFi 5GHz isn't supported here, so only 2.4GHz WiFi speed can be tested. I managed to get connected to my network connection at 65mbps, and Speed Tests reached more or less 41mbps.
Battery Life (do not rely on my test)
I have measured the real battery capacity using my USB Tester, and its capacity is a bit lower than declared. Declared 4500mAh, Real ~4310mAh. (190mAh missing, nothing serious).
The Geekbench Battery Test provided some nice results, and the software used on my device isn't 100% ready-to-use so will probably get even better with next updates.
https://browser.primatelabs.com/battery3/383660
Software
The Software is completely clean, with an almost complete Nexus-like experience. As all latest devices, it is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with some minor customizations and some extra-apps installed such as "Bagan Keyboard", "Xender", "Documents to Go" and "Parallel Space". Don't worry though, they can be disabled.
As every DOOGEE device, also this one has the usual Settings App with Black Background. Also, following other Mediatek devices, Gestures are here.
The Theme Management is easy to use, just go to the Wallpaper Chooser and you will be redirected to the Themes app. Useful if you want to switch between the Business & Sporty UIs without having to worry about the installed back cover.
Also, there is a Magnetometer/Compass here, but lacks a Gyroscope & Barometer.
There isn't anything else special about the software. It runs super smooth thanks to its HD-Only display, always responsive and there are always more than 2 GB of Free RAM on idle.
Benchmarks
I have used 3DMark, AndroBench, Antutu Benchmark, Epic Citadel, GeekBench 3, GFXBench, PCMark (Work & Storage) and Vellamo to stress the device to the limit. I won’t test Games or Video Playback because there are already some related tests included in these Benchmark suites.
3DMark – GPU Performance is better than other MT6753 devices, but still low on OpenGL 3.0 & 3.1 tests. You can’t expect something better, this is still a mid-range GPU.
Other 3DMark tests can be found on my Imgur album linked at the bottom of the thread.
AndroBench – eMMC Performance is good, especially as regards Reading Speed. Writing Speed isn’t as good as other devices though, maybe it requires a little software update, anyway still high enough to handle almost every task.
Antutu Benchmark – I won’t say a lot about this benchmark, this isn’t as reliable as others. I’m providing this just for benchmarks lovers.
Epic Citadel – As you can see, 3D performance is pretty high. 3D Games will run with no issues at all.
GeekBench – CPU Performance is nearly as good as other CPUs with the same configuration (8x Cortex-A53), enough to handle almost every type of activity.
PCMark – As you can see, only Writing score is a bit low compared to other scores. Pretty good.
Work
Storage
Even if this device is still running a not-so-new MT6753 CPU, it still performs well and the HD-Only screen helps the GPU to provide best performance everywhere. As i always say, with an MT6753 the HD-Only display works best.
Conclusions
DOOGEE did a great job with this device, probably the only Rugged device that doesn't have an ugly chassis or anything bad. Together with the DIY fun, it confirms that it is also a different device than others. It provides nice performance, great screen quality and a good camera creating a good combination of aspects.
I might have expected a better CPU, but it would have increased its price so it is good as is. Cheap enough, solid and fun.
So, do I recommend it? If you are searching for a Rugged Device, or for a different device that everyone can notice being unique, then Yes! Of course if you are searching for a slim or anything else, then this isn't for you.
Pros:
Super-Bright Screen
Solid and Well-Made

DOOGEE T5 Lite - Lite version of the T5 is coming, at the official price of 100USD
All the features of T5 Lite are same of the T5 that DOOGEE launched on 15th August.
T5 and T5 lite allow users to enjoy DIY fun as their main feature on both device is the dual-appearance. One of the appearance features a crocodile textured back cover and the other one is a sporty PolyCarbonate back cover. Further more, their inner UI automatically changes while the outer shell are replaced.
Although T5 Lite will be sold at only 100USD (Official Price), half of the T5 Price, it still provides the cool and useful IP67 certification, which means that it can proof water, dust and pressure.
The main differences between the models are in the processor, memory and camera departments. The T5 Lite is Quad-Core (maybe MT6735?) with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, 5Mpix OmniVision front camera, 8Mpix SONY IMX219 rear camera. Everything else is exactly the same as on the T5.
So, for those for are not searching for such high performance of the T5, a cheaper Lite version will be great.

How Long Can 1% Battery of UHANS H5000 Last?
It really drives people crazy when he/she need to use his/her phone for emergency, only to find out that there’s only 1% battery left. This is because many smartphones cannot last very long with only 1% battery. UHANS H5000 seems to hang on 1% for about an hour.
No kidding. The 1% battery of UHANS H5000 has been tested for the time it can last. It is a very big surprise that the phone has done such a great job of power consumption. You can watch the video below.
The UHANS H5000 was said to carry 5000mAh battery capacity. Now considering the weight, thickness of the phone and the power consumption, the company has changed it to 4500mAh. It still packs with MediaTek MT6737, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, 5MP front camera and 8MP rear camera.
A great campaign allowing users to buy UHANS devices is up on the company's website: http://bit.ly/2ehIEhG

UHANS H5000 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Battery Test
The battery of UHANS H5000 is 4500 mAh, which allows users to do a lot of what they wanna do. From the previous battery test video, we know that UHANS H5000 has very great power consumption. How is it compared to other devices?
For this comparison, Samsung Galaxy S7 was picked to be the competitor. Both phones have been fully charged and put them into the same gaming test for half an hour. Though the battery capacities are not the same, we can still see the different consumption between UHANS H5000 and Samsung Galaxy S7.
It seems that the battery of H5000 is quite a highlight. You can expect to have it in hand and test it. By the way, there will be a special campaign for the Double-Eleventh Day. You can stay tuned by following this thread.
UHANS H5000 Survived from Dropping Tests
We can hardly say that UHANS H5000 is a phone with any particular shinny spots, but it is decent and budget-friendly. Well, specs are not everything, because if you look further, you can find that UHANS H5000 is actually a very tough buddy.
To prove it, UHANS did some regular dropping tests with pocket height and hand-hold height. The H5000 has been tortured for several times under the protection of a protective case. Nonetheless, it still works very fine.

You right. There were some issues with that user (together with an XDA moderator) so he is completely ignored by me (also added to my Ignore List on XDA, thankfully this option is available) and i won't touch his threads anymore. (even though some of his posts/threads are against XDA rules)
You are free to follow the thread you prefer, this is officially followed by UHANS too.

Review of Nomu S30
Nomu S30 Hardware features:
* MTK Helio P10 chipset Octa core - MT6755
* Mali 860 GPU
* 13 MP main camera (interpolated to 16 MP) SONY IMX 214
* 5 MP front camera (interpolated to 8 MP) in unit I am testing it is OmniVision OV5648
* 5,5 inch display with 1080p FullHD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4
* battery 5000 mAh and PumpExpress 3.0 fast charge support
* 4 GB RAM
* 64 GB of storage
* 4G support LTE CAT.6 speeds up 300Mbps
* NFC
* Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS
* NXP smart PA speakers
* 2xMINI SIM
The MTK Helio P10 chipset relies on a 64-bit octa-core processor MT6755 , comprised of 8 Cortex-A53 cores, four of which are ticking at up to 2GHz, while the other four are clocked lower, though an exact number isn't specified.
A dual-core Mali-T860 GPU is in charge of graphics.
Nomu S30 is packed in carton box which contains Nomu S30, charger & cable, Warranty and user manual, headphones.
DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
The Nomu S30 is all Titanium alloy structure fortified with heavy-duty plastic and metal. The titanium alloy unit reinforced by octagon structure which by itself gives S30 powerful, resilient and unique image.
It looks great with the sides with brushed aviation type aluminium and very decorative metal pins holding the elegant construction.
Edges of octagon are rounded moulded from rubberised plastic to endure crashes from the height of more than 1 meter.
Design is attractive and gives elegant military impression. The artistic impression of all sides is the proof of modern advanced technology used in manufacturing process.
Left side view on PTT button
Right side view with Vol +- & Power
Nomu did a fantastic job designing the S30. S30 is IP68. Actually 4 x protection.
* Waterproof
* Dust-proof
* Shockproof
* Extreme temperature
The build of the device is flawless. The phone is firm and it doesn’t bend.
Dimensions 162×83×13.35 mm
Weight 260g
Material Aluminum titanium combined bracket.
The back piece and aluminum sides shun fingerprints and scratches.
The phone is easy to grab and hold, thanks to the rounded edges.
The sensory buttons have a back-light
Standard volume rocker and the power button made of aluminum are placed on the right side, which is a standard positioning considering the modern design. The volume and power buttons give a slight audible click when used.
On left side a PTT button is placed for SOS signals .
The back cover resembles zigzag pattern of chick black & silver gray plastic very aesthetic in handling.
The cover is sealed tight and part of it seals the 2x SIM and SD card slot behind the logo of Nomu.
Very HANDY.
On the top of the phone, we can find a standard 3.5 audio jack for you to enjoy your favorite music.
The USB port is at the bottom of the device, alongside with the NXP speakers. This model protects you in any environment so all external connections are equipped with stoppers made from the same rubberized plastic as the rest of the sides..
DISPLAY
The display packs a 5. 5-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD).
Pixel density is 480 dpi. Display technology used is IPS and this solution gives more natural colors and a unique user experience considering the screen colors.
The colors are quite vivid and natural. Being a solid SHARP IPS display, viewing angles are excellent with little to no color and contrast changes when viewing from extreme angles. Viewing angles are good and the screen is readable even in direct sunlight. The control buttons are back-lit. They are good visible in daylight as well as at night.
The display is 10 point multi- touch.
Corning Gorilla Glass 4
The response of the digitizer is really good. It reacts even on gentle touches with fast and precise response. The digitizer is really extra in this case. The auto-brightness setting works quite fine. Nomu S30 has a glove mode enabling using TP in difficult weather conditions.
PERFORMANCE & STORAGE
The heart of Nomu S30 is its Octa -core processor MT6755 clocked at the speed of 2 GHz. Chipset used is Mediatek MTK Helio P10 .
MTK 860 GPU .
RAM memory capacity is 4 GB.
If you want to enjoy playing games, this phone will provide a high gaming experience and rich sensory pleasures also in sound experience provided by NXP sound chip.
Internal storage capacity is 64 GB.
After the system has taken up it’s share we’re left with about 50 GB free and if this is not enough for you, there is an option for expanding the storage capacity with a microSD card up to 32GB giving you a total of 80 GB of usable memory should you need it.
AndroBench – eMMC performance is above good especially in regard to Reading Speed of above 271MB/s. For everyday tasks even Write Speed of above 13MB/s is quit high considering models of other manufacturers.
Overall performance is outstanding considering the high price range it is self-evident on the AnTuTu Benchmark of 46881 which I do for the fun of benchmark fans but which is not to be relied on very much.
Antutu Benchmark results compared to other flagships.
Sensors:
Nomu S30 GPS
I have made the GPS test inside the house.
The first cold lock on the Nomu S30 took less than 20 seconds, and subsequent locks were instantly fast at 5 seconds.
SNR is exceptionally good, with satellites bumping up into the low 40 ’s times.
Nomu 30 supports GPS and A-GPS and it’s also capable of registering Glonass satellites. .
Network
Nomu S30 has 4G support LTE CAT.6
Speed test connected to 4G Orange network on Nomu S30
Result:
Download 55 Mbps upload 18 Mbps
Camera
Dual camera system is incorporated in the new Nomu S30 model.
The rear camera has 13 MP SONY IMX214 used already with success in many flagships
Interpolated to 16 MP main camera SONY IMX 214.S30 uses the newest 13 MP image sensor from Sony and features PDAF and RWB technology. F 2.0 aperture and 6P optical lens can take sharp pictures even in low light condition. Rugged as Nomu S30 is you can make photographs and video underwater. Sony IMX214 sensor ensures for a quality beyond 200 USD mobile phone although software could offer more editing options.
If you enjoy taking selfies this model is definitely for you since the front camera also has 5 MP OmniVision OV5648. This interpolated to 8MP selfie camera is above average considering other models. The OmniVision front camera produces beyond adequate images for social sharing your travels or being occupied with rugged tasks of life.
Operating System (OS)
The all new Nomu S30 runs on Android 6 Marshmallow, which is energy efficient. A standard user will quickly find his way while using this device and the overall user experience is at its top. There are few bloat-ware apps pre-installed which after rooting can be removed.
No spontaneous restart occurred to me during the review. Everything is running smoothly.
The system has a set of smart gestures that works even when the phone is turned off. You can start he device by double tap, or using specific gesture to start a specific app.
The system also offers smart motion support , when by moving the phone you can for example, answer a call, automatically dial etc.
S30 offers even a glove and wet finger touch mode for extreme weather
Battery
New Nomu S30 has 5000mAh battery with PumpExpress 3.0 fast charge support offering you 30 hours of talk time and outstanding 70 days standby time
I have made a test of draining with light use of phone for 12 hours of standby battery charge went to 96%
Sound
It’s cool to discover after unboxing that the manufacturer added headphones . The sound is clean and the sound from the speaker is flat and very enjoyable for listing music or watching movies.
In my list below you can see the arranged qualities and flaws of this handset.
Pros
• Great military type design with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and performance of MTK Helio P10
• Excellent Back camera 13 MP Sony IMX214
• IP68 build and protected from falls up to 1.2 meter with sturdy plastic backed by aluminum sides

• Back -light control buttons
• PTT SOS button for emergency
• NFC
• 4G CAT.6
* 64 GB Storage

IP68 with corning Gorilla Glass 4
Source
https://www.facebook.com/nomumobile/
Many phones have Gorilla Glass 4 or better and are not advertised as drop-proof. When I think of a drop-proof phone I think the Galaxy S7 Active or Moto Z Force. This is not drop proof and 1.2 meters isn't very far. I'm not saying its a bad phone and if attractively priced it might compete well considering waterproofing at a mid-range price. But don't call it any more durable than any other modern phone in a decent case.
Many brands that happen after many years to adopt Gorilla glass do not have IP68 or less neither.
Many established brands do not meet waterproof claims even when called rugged. Consumer has to choose carefully.
IP68 of Nomu S30 does not come from alone having Gorilla Glass 4.
Nomu S30 has a titanium aluminium alloy military-grade construction which is the beginning of shatter-resistant unit build on octagon blue-print with heavy-duty rubber to reduce the impact force from every accidental drop.
Nomu also claims NXP waterproof speaker.
Nomu so to see has re-thought the ruuged from every angle.
