Hi all ..
My ASUS Fonepad 7 FE171CG (K01N) was bootloop due to errors in rooting.
I have done wipe and factory reset but still bootloop, stuck on the ASUS logo.

Download original firmware of appropriate version (like ww>ww, cm>cm) from ASUS website. Extract boot.img fastboot.img splashscreen.img . Use fastboot to flash boot fastboot and splashscreen. Reboot. No more bootloop.

How do you flash in fastboot? Mine is having the same issue. I have the Fonepad 7 Fe171cg K012 which had gotten stuck at bootloop when I was attempting to root it. It boot loops at the Asus Intel logo as well but I can get into fastboot. It says Fastboot cmd waiting?

The problem is, there is no splashscreen.img from the zip files. Are you sure about the existence of the file ? Check and reply.

You can't. The best way to go back to stock is to use the Asus flash tool and a raw image. It will get you completely back to stock tho. your bootloader will be locked and you'll have stock recovery again. You can then just unlock and reinstall twrp.

Hey everone, is there a way to download the z00a.zip for the zenfone 2 toolkit file anywhere else? the tool keeps giving me downloading error and I can't ever download it to recover my phone which is soft-bricked because I had a 7.0 android ROM and did a recovery of a 6.1 ROM I had to recover some files missing and now It won't boot into recovery nor Android OS...
Hi guys, i am trying to install LineageOS 14.1 on my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML Z00AD. I know phone is Z00A after doing some research and I tried following the instructions on installing TWRP using ADB by Snoop05 but when i use the flash recovery twrp img. command, it basically doesn't work for me. Can anyone tell me step by step? I managed to unlock the bootloader using the Unlock Device Tool by Asus Zenfone 2 Support Page. TIA
