I recently updated my DesireHD to the stock firmware 2.2.1, it seemed to break the GPS, even though it was an official update, one of my friends has one too with the old firm ware can someone please provide me with a link to the 2.2 stock firmware or or instructions on how to export his firmware so I can reflash mine with the stock firmware and restore my GPS.

I just need to be placed in the correct direction. I would like to update the firmware on my rooted, stock rom, at&t S3 to the latest version.
I am currently running CWM_v3.0.7. I have attached a screen shot of my current device information.
Could someone please link me to the correct informational thread?

Why don't you just flash the latest version through cwm?. It's not going to be ota but it should only take a few min. There is a sticky in the AT&T gs3 dev section. IMO your better off not updating to that version. It's pretty much just the dumbed down search. FYI next time you have a question post in the q&a section.

You can either flash the LG1 root-injected Odin package as described here or flash the OTA using CWM as described here.
If you do flash through Odin, you'll probably want to revert the Google Search widget to restore Universal Search. The old APK is in the OP of that thread.
My girlfriend and i are on a custom Rom, but we want to try the stock official jelly bean rom. I just can't find anywhere where it says the date is going to be rolled out. And when it does come out, do i have to flash stock thru Odin to get the update, or can we just got update phone and it will update it. Thanks, Jake
Sorry dude. I know you just opened this thread but there are 2-3 others in General already (both updated today; here and here). At this point no one knows outside of TMo when JB is going to come out.
As for your other question, you can stay on your custom and flash a flashable version that I am sure will pop up hours after release. Or you will have to flash back to full stock (ROM/Kernel/Recovery and no Root) to take the OTA.

Looking for the latest stock kernel and stock rom for ATT sgh-1747.
I look around and see alot of talking about stock rom but have not seen a link.
ATT never released a full ROM after 4.1.1. If you want to flash a stock ROM beyond 4.1.1, you will need to look in the general thread for instructions and links to the ROM.
Be sure to verify the bootloader on your phone before flashing any bootloaders and modems.
Please use the search function within the Device Forum to find what you need.
There are plenty of rooted stock roms but again as the previous reply said you need to pay attention to your bootloader.

So one of my friends gave me this device on Honeycomb 3.2.1. I scoured these forums for links to ICS stock ROMs and found one that has a build number of "Acer_AV041_A100_1.014.00_WW_GEN1" I installed it and tried to run an OTA update just to find out they took their servers down. I was wondering if someone could supply me with the latest stock ROM I could install if there's a later one.
