ZenWatch Wi500Q Will not stop vibrating and bootlooping when connected to charger - Asus ZenWatch

I got this watch from a friend and it had not been charged for a while. I connected a standard Micro USB cable and the watch powers on to the ASUS splash screen and vibrates and then restarts vibrating again and showing the splash screen. It does this about every 3 seconds. I tried several chargers. Finally I was able to get it to boot with a car charger in my car. IT allowed me to sync and pair it and showed the battery at 100% As soon as I took it out of the charging cable it died and since then I have not been able to get it to power back on. I tried:
Cleaning the connectors with eraser
Re seating battery connection by opening the back of the phone
Several charging cables
several charging blocks
Any help whatsoever would be much appreciated.

Did you know what was wrong? I have the same issue.

Problem with charging

Hi guys, I have a Tilt2 with the EnergyROM...
My phone recently started acting up, and wont charge the battery when plugged in (oem HTC charger)
The orange light turns on, and phone says charging but battery level doesnt change, in fact it drains as usual. Yet sometimes if I leave the phone plugged in it will start charging?
I also get the current charge isnt enough switch to AC charger or close applications error sometimes when plugged with the AC charger...
I'm leaning towards a bad battery but wanted to see if anyone had this problem before?
Thanks in advance!
That sounds like a charger problem. try a different one.
thanks for the response...i tried a charger that had the usb plug to it, i tried a charger with a usb end on it, and two car chargers and i get the same effect...i did hard resets and even installed a new ROM to see if it would help. but no luck

[Q] Broken USB port?

Hello everyone. My two weeks old GNEX'USB today has stopped working. If I plug in the AC recharger nothing happens. If i plug it to my pc windows says unrecognized device. I tried swapping batteries with a collegue of mine, and my battery on his phone recharges just fine. If I plug it to the AC while turned OFF, the white battery recharging icon / animation shows up...
What can I do?
Thanks,
TD

did you try your friend battary on yours phone !? maybe the charging port is broken on your phone
~~wrong answer.....
Have you reset your battery state?
First try different usb cables, and then try cleaning out the usbport, canned air or a toothbrush will work great. also if you ahve a magnifying lens look inside and see if any of your pins are out of alignment.

[Q] Kindle turns off when plugged in

Hi, I have a kindle fire 2 that I rooted and installed the play store on, everything was working fine then one day it stopped charging. I tried everything I could think of, in the end I opened it up and had the USB re soldered, still would not charge or at least that's what I thought.... it turns out that it does charge but only when it has shut down, there is no orange or green charging light. However this is the problem, I unplug the cable whether it b mains or pc and turn it on, now if I plug either of the cables back in to charge whilst using it it turns off and will not turn back on until I unplug the cable again.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I would double check the ground on the usb port. If you're looking at it from the back (board upside down 5 pins on the usb port facing you) it should be the last pin on the right. It could be bridged with one of the data pins in the middle. Thats where I would start. Hope that helps. Good luck

Sony Smartwatch 3 won't charge.

Hi, Last night I was playing with my new charging dock that I 3D printed and all of a sudden my SW3 stopped charging. The LED on the charging brick blinked a couple of times and that's all she wrote. I tried different cables, different charging bricks and nothing seems to work. I had about 20% of battery power left so I just turned of my SW3 to conserve it a bit. Any ideas?
Would love to see what your charging dock looks like! anyway, have you tried charging from a computer's USB port or directly from a wall outlet with a phone charger? Hope it isn't a hardware problem...
You can also charge when it is off.
I tried all these options, I think that my charger fried the watch charging circuitry. I bought a second one off craigslist yesterday and charged it in the car on my way home. Once I got home I plugged it into the same charger and now I can't charge the new watch either. I'm going to be forced to file a equipment warranty claim from the charging station manufacturer and hope for the best. By the way here is the charger in question. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009DCNP9O?redirect=true&ref_=cfb_at_prodpg

HTC 10 stops charging at 93% and 96%

I bought my HTC 10 used and replaced the battery and LCD screen along with the charging port. I kinda broke the screen and charging port when dissembling the phone. I also immediately installed LineageOS 16.0 UNOFFICIAL so I don't know how the phone charged before doing all this. It charges to 93% and stops but if I unplug and plug the charger it'll continue to 96% and then it stops again. Unplugging it and plugging it back in allows it to continue to 100%. I've tried different charges but not a different cable as this is my first USB-C device though I did order a new cable. The cable and charger are used as well. It's a strange issue and I have no idea why it does this.
