I have an LG G4 stuck in a bootloop given to me by a friend. The phone was bought from UAE (dubai). The info under the battery says its an LG-H815T. I am not an Android user but I have a fair idea of flashing and being a techie I will follow instructions and try and fix it. Would highly appreciate if someone can point me in the direction on how to fix it or tell me if I need to send it back to the country. Thanks

Hi I'm hoping somebody here can help me. I just bought a new LG G3 & upon further inspection of the Phone I noticed an app installed called SuperSU. I did a little digging & it turns out this Phone is rooted. I don't want to lose my Warranty or OTA updates from T-Mobile so can somebody please walk me through the steps to remove this & start fresh from stock T-Mobile Phone please.
I'm not the best at this kind of stuff so I'll need a very nice person to walk me through this or if you have a video with clear instructions. Please & Thank you.

This is the best way I know of going back to stock.

Use either the KDZ or TOT method.
There is no "easy" one-click method and you are at risk of bricking your phone.
You can also try the LG Mobile Support Tool
This page is pretty easy to follow and is what I always use when refreshing my phone.

Good luck!

this cant be a "new phone" if Superuser was installed and its rooted
Having root doesn't void the warranty. Furthermore, by buying off somebody instead of a tmo rep, you already don't even have a warranty, unless Tue guy you bought it off still has one one it currently.
SO I JUST TRIED TO ROOT MY DEVICE AND I DID EVERYTHING THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE ROOT TUTORIAL PROVIDED BY THE PEOPLE OF XDA DEVELOPERS.
THREAD NAME IS .. [ROOT] TMO/VZW/ATT/SPRINT/INTL Root your LG G4 with Low Effort Root!
MY DEVICE IS HARD BRICKED AND WHEN I TRY TURNING IT ON, A SECURITY ERROR SHOWS UP AND IT SAYS AUTHENTICATION FAIL #11 ..AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS..PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEEEE! ANY KIND OF HELP WOULD BE REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS.
Phone is not hard bricked otherwise it would not turn on at all, sounds like soft-brick and needs factory resetting.
Go to here: http://www.androidexplained.com/lg-g4-how-to-boot-into-download-mode/ and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848 to get everything you require.
It will wipe your phone as factory, so hopefully you have things backed up before this occurred

Hi I'm looking to root my G4 and I wanted to know if this was the best guide. Also it seems like the link to the drivers and the VC_redistinstaller are dead. I also tried the thing in step 2.d where you put the IMEI at the end of a url and that did not seem to work for me. Any help would be appreciated.
I recently bought a new HTC One M9 from Ebay brand new, the listing said it was unlocked and gsm. Unfortunately this was not true, so when i finally got it I had to unlock it myself which i managed but i went further and wanted to root my phone, as far as rooting after the step to install Team Win Recovery Project, I followed this tutorial: (youtube.com/watch?v=rOHN8byHAzk&t=941s) and basically im like all the other guys who have their phone stuck in bootloader loop, i've tried the RUU exe's from HTC they end up giving me a "Signagure" (spelt that way) error so i cant use that, i've cycled through multiple micro sd cards to try get the stock os to install in the download boot. i've getting roms they dont work and the loop just continues. Im lost guys...and heartbroken with a new uselss phone...IM WILLING TO PAY(within reason) anyone that can help me to get my phone back to normal.
The phone was from USA under Sprint, I tested my GSM network when I had it unlocked and it worked, I dont care if I can only get it back on Sprint, I just want it working again. Again I'm willing to Pay the person via PayPal to Help me out.
Thank you. you can contact me at [email protected]
Never ever follow video tutorials. They're outdated as soon as they get uploaded.
Depending on the firmware version of your phone you need different files for rooting your M9. That's why you ended up with a bootloop. The video doesn't give you that information.
Take a look at the ReadMe thread. It should explain all you need to know and contains all files you might need for recovering your phone.

THank you for replying im still busy looking for help on how to do this, I stand by my promise i will PayPal anyone that can help me save my device, I consider myself tech efficient in general, im just new to android - this is my first andeoid.
As said before, just look at the ReadMe thread. A bootloop isn't the end of the world. There's no need to pay anyone at this point since all files and information you need are available for free.
Sorry for the inconvenience guys I usually can figure this stuff out myself but this time I am lost. A brand-new fresh out the box Moto G7 play. Attempted to put TWRP on it and all of a sudden my screen went black and it's hard bricked. I got a headache over this I've been trying to figure out how to get my computer to recognize the device but no go. Can somebody please help me teach me what I did wrong first of all and teach me how to do it the right way now. It would also be pretty cool if I could fix the one I broke even though I already bought another one. If you could please help me I promise that in the future if I can help you in any kind of way I will. My phone is Moto G7 play boost Mobile the model number is xt-1 952 - 4. And like I said it was literally brand new out the box I just had the bootloader unlocked and then I try to install TWRP and black screen. My email is [email protected] I'm not sure if you guys are willing to email me or if you want to reply to me on here either way you could help me that be awesome. Thank you for your time.

Did you installed the drivers for the device?
Try to reinstall your OS. Here the link to download the firmware: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Szean3MNWxthZRBwovsg9gr-2WlxjxAf
Then you can use Magisk to root, since TWRP was not released for G7 Play yet.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g7-play/how-to/magisk-g7-play-xt1952-4-installed-t3975477
PS: If your pc doesn't recognize your device, try using Lenovo Smart Moto Assistant with another g7 play (if you have another), in bootloader mode, just for recognize and start downloading the firmware, then you replace with your device and finish installation. Myself had this issue before XD
