Hello all,
Does the camera of the Z5 Premium offer object following focus in the camera app, like the Sony Xperia X offer?

no
do you mean object tracking?? xperia z5 has it in manual mode..
If you mean 'Adaptive Autofocus' as advertised on the X-series phones then no. I asked Sony on twitter and they stated that it is a combination of software and hardware and, as such, isn't possible in the Z5P
1dave and NJ72 are you talking about the same?
I saw a video by Erica Griffin where she pointed the focus on a moving snooker ball and it stated on focus till she decided to shoot the photo. It was on a Sony X but I was wondering if it was possible on a Z5 premium as I believe it has the same camera.

try using the object tracking focus.,, they are similar..
I don't own the Z5 premium now: it's prospect
Would love to use this to stay on focus when shooting a flower with wind.

Not as sofisticated like X probably, but it does offer that when filming video. I've tried it with a small ball and the focus mark follows the ball when it rolls around.
"Objektspårning" directly translated to English is
Object-tracking.
Edit: There's also in manual camera mode

Ehi Guys, wich application do you use to make photos?
Personally i use stock (Ics, Arconium v3) And Camera360 ( Now free.)
I use couple of them, but my main camera app is MIUI Camera 17, can be found somewhere on xda forums. However, I use stock CM7 camera for recording video.

Something special in it?

The photo quality is better than on stock camera, more details and it's sharper.

Found one, force close when i take a shot
I'm currently using Camera ICS from the market. It's doing an AWESOME job better then the stock so far. I might even consider replacing the stock with this one.

Try this http://db.tt/eLNoXMGu . If it force closes, maybe that means it only works on CM7.

I personally like the stock camera app from the 2.3.4 rom from Sony Ericsson.
Just because it's very fast
Greetz
camera ICS+ faster than stock camera on 2.3.4
Stock Camera app anyday.. Can go upto ISO 4000 at night! And noise reduction is better than others. And for uncompressed JPEG images, I use ProCapture.

Maybe ION if you record in 420p for both but you will have to record in 19FPS
..ill ask a app dev i know if we can try and experiment with it

I'm just wondering if any has been able to trigger their DSLR using the IR blaster on this phone. If so please tell us what app and brand of camera you use. I use a Sony a77 and haven't been able to get it working yet

Works perfectly! Supports sony cameras too. Just make sure you enable remote shooting mode on the camera.
Hi Community ,
Me have a Sony ZL , I want to have the stock/standard camera of m8 and then access it in sony zl, it is possible?:good:
I don't think that will be possible due to the unique hardware and the software being somewhat proprietary and will prolly only work with the HTC hardware...you'd need the drivers etc etc etc to even have a very remote chance of it working...

Hi , anybody some infomation?
That was great , if change the Camera on Sony phone :good::laugh:
Just wondering if I need to download a separate app to do that.
+1 to this question!
No, the default app only has classic panorama mode, no 360°. You'll need another app (like Google camera) to do that.
