Hi, I'm unable to run Wear Battery Stats after upgrade to 6.0.1 on my SW3. Anobody else with similar issue?
I have the application on my phone but it isn't visible on the watch.
Try to reinstall. For me it works flawlessly.
You're right. After reinstalling it works. I don't know why I haven't tried it.

Hi folks,
I have T-Mobile Note 3 with stock KitKat installed on it. I also have Sony Smartwatch SW2 paired with it. The problem is that GSAM indicates that about 40% of battery is consumed by Kernel (Android OS). I fail to understand what processes are causing this huge current drain. I have already disabled location services and haven't found it to make a huge difference.
Has anyone else encountered similar issue? If yes, what is the solution? My phone is a work phone so I don't want to install custom ROM.
Thanks,
KS

Is you click the kernel in last screen shot it should tell you what app is keeping it awake and draining battery.
TWEAKED N3
I have the same issue, but clicking on the kernel just shows all relative processes.

It's killing my battery just as much as the screen is. Android os is always the 3rd culprit. I've tried uninstalling Google services erasing cache reinstalling then rebooting, that did nothing. I tried keeping GPS on in battery saver mode that helped but halfway thru the cycle it started back up again. I'm not gonna bother calling vzw because of course they'll act like they've never heard of the issue before and just tell me to do a factory reset which I've done. Oh yeah this phone is a replacement my old one died last week and also suffered from this issue also

Do you have an SD card in it? Try backing up the data and formatting it with the phone. See if that resolves it. I had insane battery drain issues on my phone, ended up removing the sd card altogether and haven't had any battery drain issues since.
The only way to really see what is going on is to use an app like GSAM battery monitor to analyze what is draining your battery. You will get much better insight when you root. I was able to identify apps that drain my system, and then either uninstall them or greenify them. For instance, I noticed that the MyFIOS app drains battery like crazy, uninstalled it. I have a Polar watch, and the companion app drains battery, so I greenified it. Also, turn off all the background synching, scanning, location etc, that helps quite a bit.
Lately I have not be able to get through a day. "May have been after the 7.1.2 update" All stock no rooting etc....
The phone seems to get warm at times, I checked battery stats "Android System" takes the most from my battery.
I disabled the Location services scan to Blue Tooth, and scan for WiFi .... to improve location pin pointing. See if that helps?
Few questions could 7.1.2 done something ?
Anybody see have warm phone even when is is not being used ?
Anything else I may want to try to do ?
Android System..... got to be Google junk, I have not installed anything new on my phone in months, the problem is only a week old. Disappointing when something is being updated Google has to know priority one have to be never hurt the battery life.
I recently got a GWA2, quite happy with it. Paired nicely with the OnePlus7T.
But since I updated to R820XXU1BSK4 a few days back I am getting more battery drain on the mobile through com.samsung.android.gearrplugin (Samsung Accessory Service) app. Earlier I don't recall this app draining the battery so much. Is there any solution to this?
Cache clear and don't optimize it, i have OnePlus 7pro and it used to do that. I'm guessing because the phone is force closing it and its restarting to be able to connect to your watch., this cycle is draining your battery.

Didn't seem to have much effect. Any other suggestions? Will use for some days and see if things change

This solution worked for me Oneplus 6 android 9.... Thanks!
Finally problem seems to have been solved for me too. Have cleared cache of Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Accessory Service, Watch Active2 Plugin, apps and battery not optimised. Also cleared cache of Samsung S Health.
Also had this problem for a very long time, eventuzlly clearing cache of all watch apps including samsung health fixed it. Thanks alot!
^goid to know update! Cheers
GSAM battery monitor reports that bluetooth chews up a significant amount of my battery. I have the base S22 on Verizon in the US (snapdragon) and have the latest update installed.
I don't want to have to manually turn bluetooth on when I need it and off when I don't to try and save battery. I want to leave bluetooth on all the time and have the phone properly not drain battery from having bluetooth on when its not in use.
Does anyone have any suggestions to stop this drain?
Thanks!
I don't remember having this issue, did you try clearing all bluetooth devices?
I will try that. I just upaired all paired devices and will pair them again and see if that fixes the bluetooth battery drain. Thanks for the tip.
I have exactly the same issue! I am using Galaxy Watch with my phone, do you also? Maybe that is the issue.
Unpairing and repairing my Bluetooth devices unfortunately did not fix the issue.
I don't use a smart watch with my phone so I don't think that is the issue.
I have a Bluetooth headset, my car and ear buds paired and that's it.
Very frustrating. Does anybody else have any other suggestions?
I have also used smartswitch to setup my phone, have you as well?

Yes I did use Smart switch when I initially set up my phone.
I'm afraid that might be the problem. Unfortunately, currently, I don't have time to set up my phone from scratch. However, a lot of people mention problems after using smartswitch, maybe it's one of them.
Can someone who has not used the smartswitch, confirm that he does not have the issue?

I didn't set up my S22 with smart switch. Mine showed about 18-20 percent. I do have it turned on all the time as I use my watch 4
