So I just got a new LG F180L and I am curious of the frequency bands as being a Korean model, might not work with my simcard.
I use TM simcard which is from the Philippines.
What is the 2G, 3G, HSDPA and LTE frequencies for the F180L? Does it have 3G/HSDPA?
I really need help as I did some research but most of it wasn't accurate and having mix up with the S and K model of F180.
Thanks and God Bless
Hi, we are facing problems with the LG G3 D855 international trying to open band 4 (1700/2100) to use it in Argentina (here the telcos sell a G3 called D855AR).
We opened the band (trhu the method with QPST/QXDM software), it gets connected in 4G but the upload / download speed is very very poor.
Anybody knows if there a hardware limitation in that model that impact on the band 4?
Anybody knows if there other settings in the NV that could be associated with the lte bands?
I will appreciate very much any tip or advice.
Regards. Diego
Hi. I am thinking of getting an LG G3. Unfortunately, all the local variants for sale are the D852. What I need is either the D851 (tmobile) or D852G (Videotron). I need Aws band 4 (1700/2100).
I've been searching around and found this interesting thread:
http://forums.redflagdeals.com/can-lg-g3-d852-work-wind-mobilicity-1720993/
Which says it's possible and somebody has actually done it. But I have my doubts.
So my question is: Is the North American LG G3 physically the same phone for all variants, but is just firmware locked to work on certain frequencies. Or are they physically different (ie. different antennas tuned to certain frequencies)?
If it's the latter and it has specially tuned antennas, it may work on aws band 4 but signal strength would be weaker? I'm not an engineer so I'm just guessing.
Thanks.
Hi ,
I have seen videos to enable the LTE bands from a developer mode menu (whatever that mode is called). But my basic question is does the hardware H810 support Band 40 (2300Mhz)? From the videos I see that band 40 is listed in the menu and can be selected, but would that really enable/support band 40
I am planning to by one LG G4 H810 and wanted to know if I can change the LTE band to band40 and use it in India.
Thanks in advance,
Anish

Stock korean firmware Android 4.4.2 rooted
Trying to get JIO network (band 3,5,40). band 40 is missing from the device.
Service menu still showing default bands after nv edit (5457#*400#).
Older default value in nv was 65621 i think.
New edited value is 549755813908 for band 3,5,40
