Rom flashing for zenfone 2 z00ad

I have a noob question. Im using a Zenfone 2 4gb/64gb Z00AD currently in a WW_2.20.40.97 system version.
My question is can i flash the cyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly build or SuperZen rom?,

I have another question
I already successfully rooted my phone then try to unlock my bootloader, how ever after rebooting bootloer it's stack in the boot recover and nothing happens. currently on ww_2.20.40.97 system firmware

But i need to unlock the bootloader first before i can install twrp right?
Root, unlock bootloader, install twrp, flash rom. Right?

How did you unlock, officially or unofficially?
If unofficially, did u get the white ASUS: IN SEARCH OF INCREDIBLE Splashscreen? That indicates if your bootloader is unlocked or not.
White=Unlocked
Black=Locked

Still having issues to root Asus Zenfone 2

Hello everyone. I tried following most of the tutorials here listed on this website to root my Asus Zenfone 2. But I couldn't make it work.
I have an Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML and the model number is the ASUS_Z00AD with Android version 6.0.1.
Apparently made in Taiwan.
Is there any way of rooting this device with that android version these days?. When I tried with the adb tools I always got an error of unable to write.
Should I try unlocking the bootloader?.
Please help.

Unlocked your BL (official or unofficial) , then flash the latest twrp for your device via fastboot then reboot to twrp recovery. In twrp flash/install your choice of root.

Please Help

My phone was hard brick for 2 month then i successfully unbrick it today. After unbricking i flash the lastest mm raw on AFT but when i reboot to recovery is has a dead android which i dont have before. I'm trying to flash twrp on fastboot(wgich was successful on pc) but when i reboot to recovery mode it only reboot me back to fasboot. Then twrp is not installed back to stock recovery. Phone was officially unlock long ago before ze551ml got stock mm official

Flashing raw file with AFT relocks the bootloader. You need to unlock it again.

Thanks a lot. I didnt know bootloader will be lock on flashing raw on this phone.

Need the official ZenUI marshmallow ROM for Z00A (16 GB, 2 GB)

I'm selling my old Z00A and need to reflash the original firmware it came with. Currently it's running CM (Marshmallow) and TWRP. I need the link to the ZenUI and original recovery for the Z00A. Also can I relock the bootloader?

Using the AFT and a raw file does indeed relock the bootloader

I am currently using Havoc OS and have TWRP installed.
How do I go back to the latest MIUI 10 Rom for my device (UK Version).
Would the bootloader still be unlocked after process?

Flash the phone with official Xiaomi PC software, bootloader will lock itself afterwards, but you can unlock it right back without waiting period.

Flashing official rom will not lock bootloader, you will get option to retain bootloader unlock or to lock bootloader in MiFlash software
