Hey guys, I have a rooted H810 that recently started acting up. It boots no apps at startup. There are a handful I want to auto boot, but they no longer do, for whatever reason. I haven't changed anything I can think of. I even downloaded the app AutoStart to assist, but THAT won't start at boot to fire up the other apps. Any ideas?? Thanks
I just realized that auto boot for all apps is getting turned off in App Ops. I set them to auto start, and it defaults back every time I reboot. Any way to fix this?
I tried freezing App Ops in ti, but same result.

So recently my phone has started to boot itself when trying to use certain apps. Phone is completely stock on .2 and nothing has been installed or changed settings wise since I set it up out of the box.
it started with google chrome. every time I try to open the app the phone boots. If I try to uninstall the app, the phone boots.
it has now migrated to facebook. 6 out of 10 times I try to open it, the phone boots. It will let me uninstall the app and re install but it shows the same behavior after doing so.
any ideas besides restoring?
Factory reset probably. Something is wonky.
zippity doo da.
So I'm getting a little annoyed on the newest Play Store 3.7.13. I don't like for it to be running all the time so I had always disable startup at system startup (bootup) using the Autostarts app. Now when I disable its startup it just ends up running anyways at system boot and reverts back to enabled (at system startup) on Autostarts. So I said **** it and I tried freezing it with TB and after a reboot it won't stay frozen like the rest of my frozen system apps. WTF! I would go back to a earlier version when I was able to do all that but even with the MarketUpdater.apk frozen it will still update to the newest one. Tried it on my and my wife's SGSII running Juggs 5.0. Has that happened to any of you?
Hey all,
My note 2 is locking up after I install or update an app in the play store, then restarts. The app update goes through successfully, but then locks up afterwards regardless of what I do next. This happens on both Wifi and HSPA.
My phone is rooted with the stock ROM.
Some apps were backed up and restored via Titanium Backup. I believe it has to do with these apps. Some apps' data was on the SD card. I uninstalled those apps, but it hasn't helped. The crash happens regardless of the app I update or install, whether or not it was restored via Titanium, downloaded for the first time from the market, or an app that came stock on the phone.
I tried clearing dalvik cache, but that hasn't helped. I tried pulling logs via logcat, but I can't find anything useful.
Any suggestions before I start uninstalling those apps one by one?
Thanks!
Here are three log cats from the time of crash.
File 1044pm: Updated an app via WiFi, then opened another app; it froze up on the Loading screen and restarted after about 1 minute.
File 1108pm: Updated an app via Wifi, then pulled down the notifications bar; it got stuck about 90% of the way down and locked up and restarted after about 1 minute. (System starts killing processes around line 32178)
File 1140pm: Updated an app via HSPA, then did nothing; phone restarted after about 90 seconds.
(System starts killing processes around line 28248)
If anyone has enough knowledge to tell me what might have happened, I would be very grateful!

I needed to make some space available on my Nexus 7 2013 and I uninstalled a few junk apps. And since I hadn't used the Google app to search anything for years, I first uninstalled the app updates and then disabled the app. After restarting the device I'm now stuck in the boot loop animation for about 5 minutes, followed by "Android is starting- optimizing apps" and when that process is complete the boot animation cycle begins again.
After doing some research I think there is no launcher now on my tablet and it's causing the boot loop. I'm running Android 6.0.1, not rooted and boot loader is locked. So frustrating that Google allows this.
Anything I can do besides factory reset? I have some important things on it and my latest backup is pretty old (I know my fault).
Thank you in advance.
I got this trouble on my Android phone 6.0.1 No reply for this issue? Anyone can help
I had this with the ota update on one of my n7 a few years back.
disabling google voice assistant puts you in a boot loop when you update.
I think i ended up flashing over adb all the way back to kitkat (had battery drain in standby issue too) then doing the ota update from scratch.
Hey so I dug up my old Galaxy Nexus and wanted to get it ready for my dad to use. However after booting up when ever I try to do anything (press on an app or the menu) a notification pops up saying " Trebuche launcher has crashed". Rendering me unable to do anything as I can't get into the menu or settings either. I am not sure what to do. I think the phone has some version of Jelly bean on it from Cyenogen mod. It is a while back since I did anything with it.
So before I mess up and brick it I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to go forward with it.
In a crazy coincidence this is exactly the problem I ran into yesterday. I factory reset it in TWRP several times and it always eventually happened again. It may not be related, but it first happened immediately after updating the play store/services and agreeing to the play protect.
This last time I removed the SIM, reset, and reboot it. I immediately opened the play store (without opening the app drawer or trying to click on settings), turned off auto updating, and downloaded Nova Launcher. When you click home it asks which you'd prefer. I was then able to go to settings without any problems.
So far it's been about 45 minutes without crashing and restarting.
LineageOS (the successor of CyanogenMod) has an official build for toro that is currently maintained so after a complete backup I intend to flash it.
Hope this helped
