Hi All,
The self reboot is due to the temp reached by the CPU on HTC desire.
There is no solution today to this hardware trouble than install a soft to reduce cpu frequency.
I ve tried to find a way to adjust security reboot temperature but i failed to success.
If someone has a tip&trick, it will be a great gift for this new year.
Happy new year to everybody, who will read this post.

If it happens when there are vibrations i would suggest to have a look wuth another battery cause yours might be slipping from battery connector causing your lhone to switch off.

My HTC One X has been running fine for a few months. A few days back it started telling me a system error report should be sent to HTC everytime I restarted it. Then apps started crashing and even some Sense UI related processes. The phone then started rebooting or turning itself off. I factory reseted it a few times until I understand it would not make any difference since the problem persisted. Then it was harder to even turn it off.
Today I find myself with a phone with an unlocked bootloader (Yeah I am really considering in installing a ROM to check if that fixes the many errors in some way) that does not work. If I manage to turn it on and reach Sense, turns off in a few minutes. Any ideas what could have caused this or how could I fix it? I already contacted HTC and I am still waiting a reply from them. I would really not like to send it to repair since I live in South America and it would require a long process.
Hope someone answers, thanks in advance :good:
It seems like there may be a problem with your ROM (not RAM) which is where system data and the OS is stored. The phone might be encountering a bad sector of memory, hence why you're getting random reboots. If the entire thing was bad, your phone wouldn't boot at all
If you factory reset already, and your problem still persists, it has to be a hardware issue. Unless you're ready to take that up yourself, I'd say it's worth it to send in and get repaired.
I recently bought htc desire 820, and am facing a this problem since the time i took it out from the box and booted it for the first time!! While running normal task like texting on watsapp or surfing web, the phone suddenly hands for 5-6 seconds then automatically restarts for no reason at all!! Please tell if my device is defective or there is some other software issue which can be solved!! Also i have checked my system update, it says it's up to date!!
bro ! i am having the same issue! please let me knw if u found any solution for this . please mail me @ [email protected]
Hello everyone,
I have a serious problem with my 3 months old LG G3 (D855):
It keeps rebooting randomly, and by rebooting I mean the LG logo appears for 3 minutes to several hours, then back to the desktop screen again. It annoys me so much since it occurs pretty much all the time even in the middle of a phone call, rendering the phone completely obsolete…!
I initially thought it was a “compatibility” issue between stock Lollipop and the phone, so I went on rooting and flashing the device back to KitKat then to CyanogenMod 12.1, but the problem persists and now it's the Cyanogen logo that appears instead!
Additionally, I noticed a tremendous heating of the device and quite a lot of lagging even on Nova Launcher!
I’d send it back to SAV if I could but I live in Morocco and the purchase was made from France...
I need your help!
Factory reset it. Remove SD card if you have one. Flash back to complete stock.
DO NOT INSTALL ANY NEW APPS for a couple of days. If issue persists, it's either the battery or the hardware.
I have the same issue I don't think its a one off either my problem started when my phone gets to 15% battery then just randomly rebooted now its stuck like in a boot loop I've tried everything to get it back I was running stock rooted d855
