So after having not used my watch for about a week I've had issues. Right now my screen seems to be stuck loading and will not connect to my phone...I have tried restarting it and always goes straight to the screen with 4 circles that are moving. Any help would be great....my first thoughts were that my watch is updating but I have heard nothing about an update for the original zenwatch. Thanks for any help.
Turn off watch. Turn back on and immediately swipe from top right to bottom left of screen. Follow directions on screen to wipe data/factory reset. Re-pair with phone.

Thank you. So I did this and then rebooted, it still goes to the screen with animated circles. How do I repair with my phone after this? Thanks again any other steps I should have done on the recovery screen?
How long did you leave it on the circles screen? It could take up to 5 mins for it to boot after wipe.
Next step would be to install the latest system image. See my thread in Zenwatch Android Development.

I took it to a repair shop, where I was told to send it to Samsung to do a heavy-duty root. The power button does need to be replaced because there is no spring when you push down on it. I have no idea if there's a root glitch. Has anyone sent their phone to Samsung? What happened? Are there alternatives?
Thank you!

It was amazing, I had the same problem but all i did was open up the back up undoing all the tiny screws and then took a can on compressed air and sprayed out the power button and its been working for more than a month now with the problem completely gone! try that first before sending to sammy.
Ok I am in the same boat. My device does not boot up, it will get to Samsung logo and restart half the time and the other half just vibrates every 2 seconds. I removed the battery while plugged in and it still vibrates. I took it apart and blew the power button with compressed air and nothing. Here is the funny thing if I bang the hell out of it, it almost boots up. Is there something that I can do less than sending it to Sammy ? If not I will sell it on craigslist for parts.

Same thing here. Only way to get it to power on is by hitting it, the harder the better it seems. After it turns on, touching the power button will make it go in to the restart loop 90% of the time. This sucks!
For me this started after I dropped my phone...with the case on and on carpet. I have also opened it up and sprayed with compressed air to no avail.

Hi Folks,
I had the same problem, the problem started when I dropped my fone on carpeted floor, here are symptoms
Fone restarts on its own, start the boot, inbetween the boot starts again, then, keeps vibrating every two seconds, you have to pull the battery out to stop it,
As soon as you put the battery back in, it restarts, again getting stuck, and then vibrating every two secods,
Here is what i did
- Cursed Samsung for making a sh***y phone - Didnt work
- Smacked my phone with whatever I could fine - Didnt work
- Opened all the screws up, took apart phone, pulled out the power button module (pcb), noticed power button was loose, put some glue into it, dried it, put it back, & ITS BEEN WORKING SINCE THEN ! It was a hardware fault, its not software !
Just my two cents, it worked in my case, I cannot guarantee if it will in your case too, try at your own risk !!

Same issue with SGH-M919. I was rooted and the rom I tried to use wouldn't work because the kernel caused some issues so I figured I would go back to stock. The device wouldn't go into recovery mode, so I flashed the stock rom via Odin. After the ROM loaded, the phone reset and I saw the Samsung screen then it rebooted and so on each time. It's not the power button as it works, has the spring feel to it and the phone would come one by itself if it was broken. So what can I do or am I in trouble?
Also, the phone will vibrate every 2 seconds

Sure, the power button will "work", but if it's constantly vibrating and rebooting, it's probably an issue with the power button. Do what it shows in the video I posted, and if you do it right it'll probably fix it. I gad to attempt it twice as it didn't fix it the first time, but it's been like 4 months and I haven't had an issue since.
Thank you but it was the kernel causing problems. Somehow, the new ROM messed up the partitions and subsequently required a full wipe including all data then I flashed the stock ROM back via Odin and it was fine. I rooted it again and flashed Bliss Pop 1.8 and I love that ROM. No issues at all. Thanks for the help. I'm slowly learning about ROMs and Linux etc.. I appreciate the help. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can learn more??? Where do I post to get past this 10 posts rule???

Wow I just realized that post was from a week ago and that was for my girls S4. We got rid of it anyway. My response was regarding my Sprint LG G3 which I am slowly mastering.
Same thing here but here i have a Lenovo …idk what to do
Hi all, I have been scouring forums & Google for the past 2 days trying to find an answer for my issue and now turn directly to you guys & gals at XDA for help...
My phone is a Rooted T989 on the T-Mo network. I was running "Sons of Android" 4.2.2 ROM. I had been using it for about a month and have not installed any new apps or app updates since a couple of weeks ago. It seemed to be 99% stable. 2 days ago I sent a text and suddenly my phone jumped to the boot logo screen. The animation was spinning, but the phone was completely unresponsive. I had to do a battery pull to restart. It booted to the logo animation, then went black & started a pulsating vibration that wouldn't stop. Another battery pull & I tried to start in CWM Recovery Mode. Anything I tried to do from recovery locked up before it was complete: CWM Wipe, dalvik cache wipe, sys cache wipe, Darkside Super Wipe, Darkside Cache Wipe. I tried these over & over, but they would all lock up, screen would go black, vibrating pulse. Sometimes the phone would actually boot up for a few minutes and I could see that no wipes had been successful. Finally, after repeated battery pulls, let sit 20 min, etc, the phone started & one of the wipes must have worked! Although it didn't stay up for long before returning to the black screen. Still, I was very excited & immediately put it into download mode, conected to the PC & used Odin3 to Unroot & Restore to a fresh version of T-Mo Jelly Bean. Odin gave a Completed Successful report, and it tries to boot up under the stock T-Mo boot screen, but all of the problems & symptoms are still there! I haven't got T-Mo JB to complete the boot process yet. I even went into stock recovery to clear everything one more time. The phone still goes to a black screen, vibrating pulse, unresponsive.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Please help. I have already pulled all my hair out over this so now I am just left scratching my head.

Never heard of sticky power button, but now that you mention it, the power button is uber sensitive which makes it difficult to make a selection in recovery. Thank you, I will search for this... anyone else have any experience/ideas/suggestions?

THANK YOU BOTH SOOOO MUCH! It was a sticking power button. I followed meekrawb's link. I took the phone apart and used my air compressor with a blow off tool @ 60 psi to get in all the nooks & crannies. I also scrubbed all around the power button with an old toothbrush before blowing it off again. I could already tell it felt more free. I put the phone back together & voila; I'M BACK!!:good:
Ok, so here's the deal. Bought the watch and charged it to 100% before turning it on. Fired it up, synched with android wear fine and it wanted to update. I ran the update but it kept getting to the end and complaining about how there was an error and to try again. I threw it back on the charger and it had dropped all the way down to 64%!
I charged it back up and did the update. I was stuck on the android icon for about 10 min then it rebooted and was stuck at "Just a minute" for a good 15 min or so. I did a hard reboot. Since then I have performed a hard reboot multiple times. For awhile there it was giving me the option to reset, which I tried 3 times. I kept getting stuck on "just a minute" when trying to sync.
Now, after the last reset, I can't get past the big motorola logo when it boots. Usually it shows the logo and then has the gears moving through the logo. But now, it just shuts off and comes back on to that logo.

sounds like a boot loop, which sucks because i don't think there's a known way to get into recovery or if the watch even has one. i'd email motorola if i were you.
Ok, I left it off for about 30 minutes and finally got it to power back on so I could reset it again. Once again, it reset and wants to download an update. It downloads, reboots, installs, reboots and then just sits at "just a minute..."
This thing is a serious pain to get up and running. Any ideas? I don't know what else to try. Ive tried pairing it with a HTC One and a Galaxy Note 3.
*EDIT*
Ok, after 2 more tries I finally got it to the point where I saw a new boot screen. I figured that was good news. Now its been sitting on the Android boot screen. By that I mean the green, blue, red and yellow orbs have been flying around for 10 minutes.

It looks like if I press and hold the power to shut down, then press and hold for a good 10 sec or so when booting back up it will boot me to a screen that shows:
"Bootloader version: 940
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 2
Battery OK
Connect USB Cable"
Thats about as far as I can get now. It refuses to go past the android screen now.
*EDIT*
OMG... so I decided to fire it up and start trying to power it down immediately. I did that 3 times in a row and it booted up to the Android Wear pairing screen. I paired it and... its trying to download something again. I can't win. I may have to take this thing back and wait for the next LG watch. I can't figure this out.

So this morning I made s trip back to best buy and luckily they had 2 left in stock. I wasn't that aggravated because my last 360 had a dead pixel anyway.
With the replacement I did everything the same as I did last time and this time around it updated and did its thing flawlessly. So yea, sounds like I just have bad luck and got a dud.

I just got my brand new OP3, opened it and turned it on to start setting it up, it freezes inside the android set up and then restarts itself after a few seconds of being frozen.
Any solutions? I really don't want to return it, I find it a bit stupid it doesn't even work out of the box

Tried doing the Factory reset thing, no luck. Talked to OP support and the guy told me to submit a ticket with my issues, and that a "level 2 technician" would help me.
So I got home and plugged it into my PC, turns out the phone doesn't freeze when plugged in via USB. But on the included charger, and without being plugged into anything, it freezes and reboots itself in a continuous loop.
Keep us informed I'd like to hear what the problem/solution is

I also had my Oneplus 3 in a bootloop and freezing while showing either the 1+ square or the rotating red dots.
After I tried to get it repaired by talking with support and had been using my old phone for a few days and reflashing the ROM and recovery many times. I got it working again (ish) now it only freezes ones a day.
Support is a pain, I'm waiting for a level 2 techician for almost a week now.
So I any of you know a solution or have a confirmation that it is a hardware failure, I think we all would like to hear about it.
Hello guys
Recently got a watch fit that's running 1.0.2.12
On the health app it says that 1.0.3.20 is available. But when I run the update it gets downloaded to the phone, transferred to the watch and when it starts to install it reaches 68% the watch restarts and stays on its old firmware.
I factory reset it through the app and watch. Deleted data and cache from the app. Got the latest version of the health app even installed HMS and updated to the latest. Installed app gallery just to check that I had the latest health app. Done it off charge at 100% battery and even while it's plugged. Nothing seems to work.
Weird thing I don't get any error, it just restarts at 68% everytime.
Anyone got a clue or faced the same issue?

Yes, stops at 68%... i tried everything !!
i had this problem and tried everything even contacted Huawei but they didnt know how to fix it
the solution is simple when installing reaches 68% press the side button until the watch power off then when you start the watch update will install again , then when the installation reaches 68% keep pressing the side button repeatedly untill the installation passes the 68% and keep pressing it again if it stuck at any other percentage , i hope this solution works with you

yes this was my problem it reboot after 68% , i managed to fix this by these steps when it reach 68% try to shut down the watch by pressing the side button about 30 second then start the watch it will start installing again once you start it , the when the installation reaches 68% keep pressing the side button repeatedly until it passes the 68%.. this worked after this i had about 3 major updates without any problem

If it helps i kept pressing fast try to reset the watch and reinstall the latest health app then redo these steps
Some problem here. When I reach 46% it is restarting imediatly. On my watch, it is not stuck at 46% .....when the installation reach 46% , in a second it is restarting.
I try the above method . It is working only if I press VERRY rapidly the side button; and I managed to update. I press this button like 3 minutes until the install finish.
Next updates works normal!
