Which should I buy and take into consideration the ease of rooting it? Also there is a dual sim international version floating around at some online stores.
The region specific unlocked is for north and south america while the other is for any GSM carrier.
I am happy using GoSmart as my cell carrier which is a MVNO of T-mobile. So I could buy a T-Mobile locked phone but would like unlocked in case I switch in the future. The S6 seems very durable so I may keep it for a while.
I am giving some thought to buying a Samsung Galaxy S9. I am currently on Total Wireless, which is a Verizon MVNO. At some point in the future, I will probably switch to Cricket, which is an AT&T MVNO. With that in mind, should I get an unlocked version or the Verizon version?

Hi all,
New here
I'm in China for work and going back to Canada in a few weeks. I'm looking to buy the Note 10+ 5G at a Samsung store here in Shanghai as it has 5G and actually cheaper than buying it at a Samsung store in Montreal.
Do you know if any issues for the 5G connection after I switch the firmware? 5G is not available yet in Canada but I think you folks from the US could advise?
Thanks
YC
Can an unlocked Samsung A50 SM-A505W (Canada version) be used in the USA with AT&T towers? In general I assume canada versions are only GSM? ie suitable for AT&T and T mobile
