Google now agenda card - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note5

Anyone know a way to get my work Gmail account calendars to show up in Google now. I can't seem to find a setting anywhere.
Basically here is my current setup. My phone uses my personal Gmail for everything. But I added my work Gmail for calendar syncing only. My boss create a calendar for each of us on his account and shared them to our work emails. They show up in my calendar app but don't show on the agenda cards in Google now. Any ideas.

From what I understand google now can only read from one account at a time. The best thing I can say is to share your calendar with the primary account that is being used. Otherwise you will just have to switch to the work account in Google now.

[Q] Offline calendars

Does anyone know of any offline calendars other than the only one available on the android market?
Goocle calendar is not as productive as a blackberry calendar. I don't like having appointments sitting at at server.
Is there anything that could help me with this? Before anyone says get a blackberry I don't want one I enjoy android I just need something more productive without exposing information in a server.
Thanks in advance
Are you sure your appointments are stored off your phone? I know google backs up the stuff to their servers

When i looked it up I have it in my phone also, but it is still at my gmail account. Maybe I don't understand the concept, but I just don't like the idea because I have been use to the Blackberry calendar.
I can confirm that the factory calendar software does store the calendar data locally, but it is constantly synced with your online gmail account. So as soon as you remove it from the server, it will be removed from the phone.
I cannot however confirm that there is not a 3rd party app for locally syncing the phone and your Outlook calendar, except for MAYBE the HTC Sync app, but I've never gotten the software to detect my phone.
I also had your concerns when I went from RIM to Android. You are able to make your calendar private on your google account. I have been using GSyncIt, which allows me to choose which google calendar I wanted to sync with, that way I could separate my work stuff from my personal stuff.
There is an app call offline calendar that I think is great except it doesn't work well with MTS for some reason. Other than that I have not seen other like it.

Google Now Calendar Issue

I have an issue with Google Now regarding multiple Calendars. I subscribe to several calendars (colleagues on my work's Google Apps account and family members on my Gmail account). However, when Google Now creates a card for the next appointment, it grabs the next appointment from all the calendars I subscribe to.
As you can assume, I am getting constant reminders from Google Now about upcoming appointments (from work colleagues it is daunting).
I would really like to use Google Now, but unless there is a way to select which calendars Google Now pulls from, this is quite useless.
Any thoughts?
Bump...
In all seriousness, does anyone know what I am talking about or, even better, know how I can deselect certain calendars from being used within Google Now?
Afraid not- I've had a look through the settings for both Google Now and also the Calendars and I don't see anything.
I get work appointments too as my Nexus sync's to Exchange, but tbh it doesn't bother me...

I don't mind getting my work appointments...it is the ones I get for everyone else in the office that are overwhelming. Makes Google Now useless for me. I sure wish they would allow you to select what calendars to pull from.

Any idea if it is possible to have Google Now pull data from two GMail accounts? I have my primary account linked to Google Now but I usually receive all my flight, package, purchase emails in a separate account. Both gmail accounts are on my phone but I think Google Now only pulls from the primary account. Right? Is there any way to change that or get around this issue?

How to put a third account in Google accouts in settings?

I have 3 calender accounts, 2 gmail and 1 yahoo. Is it possible to add a third account so the tab will sync with it also. I have the 2 gmails added to the Google account settings but can not find a way to add a third. I know it is possible to add yahoo because I had it installed on other tablet but I never had 3 in the Google setings. Is it possible?

You can actually use gmail email accounts to import emails from things like say yahoo so they all come to one email address if that makes sense, but otherwise its sacrifice time lol sorry...may i ask what is your intended use to have the 3 gmail accounts synced in your phone? Do u just want the emails themselves or all of googles services for all 3 if that makes sense.
I have a Yahoo account on my calander and does not sync.

local calendar

Call me paranoid, but I don't like the idea of keeping my appointments in the cloud.
The problem is, the stock HTC calendar reduces available options when I'm switching from a Google account to either the phone (i.e. HTC Sync) or local account.
Does anyone have any experience with the Google calendar app and local accounts? Is it possible to use it without syncing with Google? Is there any other decent calendar app that would work with a completely local account, with an occasional backup to either SD card or PC?
You can turn off synchronization for Google Calendar under settings.

Somehow on my phone this setting has no effect and Google keeps syncing the calendar.
And then I'm using several gmail accounts, so the events get scattered between different "accounts". I have no idea why a simple list of appointments has to be associated with any kind account.
I don't think you are doing it right when you turned off the calendar sync. Anyway, there is an app called Offline Calendar. Perhaps you could give it a try.
I know this app. It creates a local (offline) calendar, but does not do anything else, you have to use this local calendar as an "account" in some other calendar app, like the stock HTC calendar.
As to turning off sync, I don't think you can do it "wrong". You just go into Google account settings, tap on an account (if you have more than one, like I do) and then there are sync settings, you can choose whether to sync gmail, contacts, calendar, apps, etc. I uncheck all of the boxes except for gmail, since this is the only thing I need to be synced - otherwise I will not be able to read email and that's the whole point of having a Google account. In any case, the calendar sync setting is off and still the HTC calendar app syncs every time I add an event to a calendar associated with a Google account.
Two ideas to try:
1. Use Google calendar with sync turned off. See if it still syncs new event.
2. Stay with HTC calendar and use the offline new account created by that app. Add new event to the offline account.
Try a calendar on the play store that has no sync function........ Or, don't worry. Everyone syncs... If there were security issues, it would be reported all over.
I doubt Google will show up at an event you have scheduled and mug you. ?

Add exchange calendar to calendar app

I am trying to figure out how to add a exchange calendar to any calendar app. I've tried using the default app, Google calendar, and cal, but I don't see anywhere to add an exchange calendar. In play store both Google calendar and cal advertise they are capable of exchange.
Even in the phone "settings", under accounts -> add account, no luck
I'm using cloud magic for my exchange email and it works great.
Didn't know it's so difficult on Android.

I sync between google calendar and exchange calendar with a win program called 'calendar sync +' (free).
I use Agenda Widget for Android to combine calendars in one space as my Exchange is dealt with through Symantec Touchdown.
Have been using the app ever since Jellybean, and unfortunately it hasn't been updated since November 2013, so it worked best with Jellybean. It was unusable with Kitkat. With Lollipop, you will find that the calendar doesn't advance every day (sticks to when the phone has booted), so you either have to "Toggle Today's Events" daily, or reboot daily (I do the former).
Hope this helps.
