Hey Abinash, thanks for the fix! It did the trick for stock marshmallow 6.0 and got my Z5p to be able to use the micro sd for app storage (just to "see" the already installed apps though). It made the phone work again as before the upgrade all movable apps (90%) were on the micro sd. SONY should not drop support for a device that was sold (and bought) because of micro sd support. This is not a way to say thanks to valued customers.

It doesn't work!!!!

TiBKP problem on rooted T705

Hi
thanks guys for all your efforts.
I have a rooted T705 with a normal MS-DOS Fat SD Card inserted. I have a problem using Titanium BKP as it does not let write ANY partition of the tablet.
I have the paid version of the program and I use it on any other Android devices without any problem at all........
Root is ok and so I have not any idea ab what the problem is....... Thnks for any help (I wish to use TiBKP mainly for freezing/uninstalling bloatware on the Samsung ROM as we are waiting for a "clean" debloated ROM.........
Maybe tibu need an update, you could contact the dev
Edit : with xposed framework you could try HandleExternalStorage module...
Thnks, I set the problem up using SD Fix from the market
You made 2 statements here that are questionable. First you said it can not write to any partition. That is incorrect. It can only not write to the external sd card. Second, you said you used it on a bunch of other Android devices, but I guess it should be pointed out that appartenly none of them had kitkat.

install apps in SDcard or moving them from internal to SD

Hi everybody
i bought recently LG G3 & I rooted it
please help me or give me the application that allows me to install games in SD Card
Thank you a lot
Foldermount for big data
If you have xposed module installed obb to SD app just search for it using xposed is great for them big games XDA did a great video on YouTube showing how to use it.
Does the xposed framework work on Lollipop?

No. Xposed only works with the Dalvik runtime. Since LP is on ART, it won't work and it's not know when it will be updated to work with ART. Don't ask the dev as he's already been asked thousands of times and he said "it will get done when it gets done".
One other thing to be aware of, if the game writes a lot to the SD card, it will reduce the lifespan of the SD card. I've had SD cards go bad (and they are good SD cards from Sandisk) after about a year. This was due to me using TWRP to backup nandroids a lot, TiBu backing up nightly, etc. Eventually, reading from the SD card will be slower and then finally, files will start to get corrupted and eventually lost. So, be careful wanting to use the SD card as your main internal memory.

[HELP] Storage Issue [Unable to access Internal Storage]

Hello Guys,
I have purchased a micromax canvas a1 from a retail store 2 days ago and there is no problem in the device except that i am not able to access my phone memory (or internal SD) with using any file manager app (root browser also) nor able to access it through pc when connected. Only External SD card is accessible.
There is no problem in app installation, i am able to move app data to External SD card and vice versa. The storage setting also shows internal SD and the app manager too displays the internal SD capacity. Everything is fine except i am not able to view the internal SD card.
I have unlocked bootloader and Flashed CWM and Installed official Cyanogenmod 11 ROM but the problem still persists. You can check the below Screenshots. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that info. Hope Lollipop update may fix it.
Wondering why nobody complained about it.
Thank you again.
I was also wondering why nobody mentioned this..
My internal storage runs out of space all the time and it bugs me that I can't access it.
And as for nexus devices, they don't have an sd card slot at all, so you can access the internal memory.

[Q] Cannot move apps to SD card

I have the wifi only US version of the tab s 8.4 inch, and I cannot move apps to SD card for some reason. I'm not rooted anything, and running Android 4.4. I tried doing it through the built in application manager, but I just get a "unable to move app to SD card" message. I also tried using an app called app2sd, and it didn't work either. App2sd worked just fine on my note edge running lollipop though. Could it be that I need lollipop on my tablet for it to work? I just bought a 64 gb micro SD card for my tablet because I was running out of space, but as you can see I have be3n unable to use it. Any ideas?
I know third party apps cannot write to the external microsd in 4.4 , in 5.0 it is fixed, but you would think the built in system apps would let you do it.

Thing is, all app2sd card does is automate the process. It's like a batch file that automatically opens the information page on each app (using built in application manager) where you can click "move to SD card" . So it's really no different than doing it manually with no third party app, so I don't think what you mentioned is the problem
I downloaded app2sd and i moved a few apps from my internal flash memory to microsd without any problems, I have an non-rooted v4.4.2 10.5" T800 , below is the app i used.

This does not even let me try to use it . It just says "no need to move, SD card shares the same disk with OS". I also reformatted the SD card, still no luck. I can't be the only one with this issue. Anyone ?
Remove you microsd and do a factory data reset, make sure you backup the data you need to keep first, very strange that your tab thinks your ,microsd is just a directory on your system flash memory, might be worth formatting your microsd in your notebook if you have an adaptor, just in case you tab is putting system files on you microsd, then put it back in your reset tab and do a format on it, if the tab does not do it for you.
It would be nice if some other forum members could help you, maybe you need to get a mod to change your thread title, to something like "help: my android tablet thinks my microsd is system memory and will not let me move my apps to it"
Or something like that might get your thread more attention.
Or try posting on more than one android forum, I use the one below, but there are lots more.

Turned out to be defective micro SD card. Lesson learned : stick with San disk, death to Sony

It also very highly depends on your defin4of moving an app to your SDcard. Most apps of various sizes only move a very very very small portion of their data to the sdcard. Like a 1GB app moving 56MB or a 24MB app moving 16KB. Some apps are smart and can move their obb files but there are quite a lot of apps that are not programed well and move only a little bit of data or none at all.
But as for this specific tablet samsung was kind enough to include app2sd as part of its system files (along with all the bloatware), so you do not need on a stock rom (kitkat or lollipop) to install any other app moving program.

eTong KitKat car radio (limited memory problem)

Hi all,
I just bought myself an eTong Android 4.4.4 car radio for my Honda Accord (they are all over AliExpress). The biggest problem with this unit is its limitation of 265MB of internal memory and the hardest problem is trying to communicate with the eTong representatives because they all speak chinese and a lot seems to get lost in translation even though the sales guys can talk some english.
I don't know how to root this device, if I did I would be putting something like SDFix on it so I could install apps onto an SD card and my problem would be solved. The device has 2 SD card slots.. one labeled GPS and the other labeled SD Card, however the system just sees it as 2 separate SD cards and doesn't have any real distinction between them. If you go into the apps screen there is no option to move it to the SD card either.
So my question becomes... Does anybody know how to a) root the device.. b) install programs onto any one of the SD cards without a root if option a is not quite possible yet.
use KINGROOT. APK
