Hi all,
I've tried some rom and flash, and sometime i meet this probleme :
- get no or worse signal
- missed calls or dropped calls
- seems to get no 2g signal
Result => my phone became a pocket android....without gsm fonction...
Manytime i've saw other member met this problem....
So after many attemp, remplacing radio file in folder system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default has solved my problem for theses rom :
- Rooted and not froyo chinese rom
- JBoojie Eclair or Froyo (actually running)
- Milestone 2
- etc...
It work for me, so try it !
I've made a zip upgrade via Recovery mode with my working radio file (comes from original EU Eclair rom v2.34)
Please feeback

as I havn't found the file you providing here, I've got a question: Where are the radiofiles from (US ROM, Netherlands ROM....) ???
I've got the China 2.2 ROM running here, and I've made a file check. 4 of those 14 files are different to your files, but NOT by filesize.
Those files are:
File_Audio2
File_Audio8
File_GSM
File_Seem_Flex_Tables
I'm going to get those files from a 2.34 Central Europ ROM also to make this check again... stay tuned
Edit: those 2.34 Files exactly match your files.
Yes i've use 2.34, it has solve all my worse signal issue with many rom.
It could work only with my french operator, i don't know if it's needed for all ?
Also, try this if you are european user and if you meet signal problm after installing new modified froyo rom, it work for me.

Did the ItfunzBaseBandSwitcher.apk alone not help improving your signal?

i don't try it because i found the solution by replace radio file before the ItfunzBaseBandSwitcher.apk file posted....
I'll try it with next test rom (vanilla froyo), i'll let u know
This just solved my issues with T-Mobile (Germany) and Froyo ROMS. Thanks a lot!
ItfunzBaseBandSwitcher.apk work too, but not for the new T-mobile rom here :

I cant get HDSPA connection (Vodafone Spain) with new froyo T-Mobile Rom, this fix is not working.
Any idea??

It seems like that is only a display iussue. For me it always show "3G", instead of "H" but when I use *#*#4636#*#* it shows either UMTS or HSPA depending if the telephone uses HSPA or not.

After I replaced all the files in system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default , my 2G signal is back.
I am from Bulgaria/Globul, very new in this Andro-things, but before few days I rooted my Motorola Defy+.
I also did some things that I am not 100% sure what...changing rom, upgrading and etc...
However
Android version is 2.3.6
Model number: MB526
Baseband version: EPU93_U_00.60.03
System version: 45.0.2310.MB526.AsiaRetail.en.03
Kernel versioon: 2.6.32.9-ge281b6e...
Build number: 4.5.1-134_DFP-231

I need a download link to Asian official ROM with Asian languages in menus not only reading(mainly am interested in Arabic).
A rom similar to one in this link:

I think the build no is ITL41F.I9250ZSKKB but i am not sure.

Hi everyone, sorry for my language,
i have the model e973 (canadian) with vanilla rootbox rom, and it work correctly, but if i install stock rom can i have problem with radio? (gsm-wcdma-4g). So i've another question, I read... the stock Rom e973 haven't italian language, I try to install stock rom italy e975 and only rear camera not work, but everything else works perfectly. How can i do??

Not sure if this is where i should be posting so please correct me if i'm wrong.
So i have an ace ii i8160 on baseband XXLK7 (Orange/EE UK) and i rooted, installed TWRP and flashed the cyanogenmod 11 from [nova fusion] (it wont let me link it as i am a new user). It worked perfectly and was looking great however the phones GSM function was no longer working. I have tried a few nightlys and a few stable releases, all flash successfully and boot but with no sim function at all.
No one else flashing these ROMs seems to have any GSM/RIL trouble so i think it is a problem specific to Orange/EE UK or my baseband.
I originally thought it was a problem with the ROM but have tried a few different modem files to no avail. I was wondering if any of you could help, either with changing the baseband (would an Orange UK SIM card still work with a different baseband than the XXLK7?) or upload a good stock gingerbread 2.3.6 for the ace ii on this baseband. I cant seem to find one anywhere.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to install official jelly bean first. Go to sammobile o samsung updates to download it
Hi everyone,I'm a user of N5110 China mainland version.For many reasons,many Chinese users have eagernesses to flash newest foreign official Roms,so do I.
Yesterday I downloaded 4.4.2 for a try with Odin v3.09.As usual,it failed when flashing sboot.bin.I made a try flashing sboot.bin/tz.img/boot.img only.Failed again.
So I made a Rom compare between China mainland 4.1.2,UK 4.2.2 and 4.4.2 and found out that China version has a special file hidden.img when UK has two tz.img/sboot.bin
You may say“isn't there has CM11?”Yes,CM11 has great efficiency and excellent experience.But what I can't tolerate is horrible battery management.For a user who is often at outdoors,it doesn't fit me at all.
Odin doesn't have “force flashing”like Nokia Symbian,So I want to discuss if we can upgrade bootloader which can help people who are suffering no Wi-Fi in official 4.4.2 Roms.We Chinese people are bothered about this now.
