Hello everyone, I like running a lot and usually have my phone with me for listening to music and GPS tracking with Sports Tracker App.
I am looking for an armband that will fit the Arc so I can have it with me now that due to the summer coming will be wearing t-shirts mostly when running. (Until now I usd to carry it in my jacket's pocket.)
The armband should let the 3.5mm jack open so I can plug in my headphones.
Can you suggest one?
Thank you.

tried to modified for iphone 4 but no luck
why not make your own
I know this might be tacky, but why not make you own; from an old sock.
If you have an old sock, with a long top part (the one that extends to the calf), you may cut it at the ankle, fold it inwards half-way. Stitch from the fold up to the edge (two rows wide apart to fit the phone in the middle), and voila! :good:
Wear the "armband" up your arm (with folded side to the bottom). Insert you phone inside the pocket created with the stitching.

+1 For eBay. Ordered one the other day, went for free postage so won't get it for a while. Can report back with review I'd your still interested then.
MacGyver would be proud of the sock idea tho.

There's a form fitting one for the arc over at Amazon. Been pondering about getting one for myself. [LINK]

I'm having a hard time understanding the differences between these 2 Samsung covers.
What is the EFC-1G2NGEGSTA material? Is it the same as the non-magnetic book cover EFC-1G2NGECXAR? I've seen the EFC-1G2NGECXAR at Best Buy and wasn't really that impressed. It seemed kind of like cheap vinyl/plastic. Is the only difference between these the magnet?
I would like to know as well about this. Why does Samsung have different prices for what it seems to be the same cover?
So I see Samsung now has these in a many new colors. Wow. Well I used my 50% off coupon and bought the official gray cover from their store. Total was about $35 with tax and shipping.

Ya I bought the gray: http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/EFC-1G2NGEGSTA. It was $29.99 after coupon plus tax and shipping.
They now are showing gray, white, and new brown, red, light blue, pink, lime green, and orange: http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab/GT-N8013EAVXAR-accessories
Edit: Just noticed URL contains 'galaxy-tab' but page shows definitely shows note. You can also navigate in from Note 10.1 main page, then click accessories.

I just got a nonmagnetic one and its really good. Wish It had magnets though because the screen cover is loose.

Has anyone figured out what the exact difference is? I just purchased the magnetic one and saw some youtube reviews of the original. SAME THING! Magnets in the the same place. Same coverage. I just got off the phone with samsung and they couldn't tell me the difference. They say the magnetic one has more magnets. I don't think so. Also they say the materials are different. I'm not sure about that. Samsung guy also told me that they don't make the book cover anymore and this is the new one. Which is why they charge $10 more. In my opinion, they just relabeled the same product and made it more expensive. Can anyone confirm there is a difference?
So I stopped by a local best buy and compared my "magnetic" book cover and realized there is absolutely no difference. Size, weight, material, magnetic placement were all the same.
@dtziheucdavis if you're thinking that the magenetic one keeps the front flap closed it does not. (At least the one I have)
So now I'm wondering if samsung sent me the wrong one if there is a difference.
Any thoughts? As mentioned I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with samsung and after 3 reps later, all they could tell me was that there are more magnets and the material is better (not true through direct comparison). If there are more magnets its non functional.
Well, I just used the 50% off promotion and ordered the red one. I already had the gray 49.99 model, so i will be able to do a comparison as soon as it arrives. Also, I was able to use the coupon to order the s pen holder. It has good reviews on Amazon.
I just would like the option of the screen going off automatically when the cost is closed m or the s pen is re-inserted into its holder on the tab.

I received my EFC-1G2NGEGSTA today. It appears to be the same as the non-magnet one I saw at BB, with the exception of the magnets. Seems OK. I may keep it, despite growing to really like the i-BLASON I got from Amazon.
We shall see if the non-latching (or non-magnet clinging) cover is an issue. I kind of liked the latch on the i-BLASON and the extra padding the case provided.
Took one week to arrive from order placed to received.
EDIT: Really digging the fit and slim profile! I hope it doesn't suck up the scratches.

Hey where exactly is the magnets? On the regular book cover there are magnets too. When I compared my magnet one to the non magnet it was exactly the same. Is there a magnet that keeps the front flap closed? I sat at best buy for 10 minutes comparing my magnet and the regular book cover to find no difference. Thanks.

So the "front" cover has 3 sections (seperated by 2 creases)....a 1 inch or so section near the "hinge", a 4 inch or so section in the middle, and a 1/2 inch or so section. It seems that the only parts that stick are the 1/2 inch section when it is aligned in the middle of the cover back.
Hard to describe without picture, but does that make sense?

That is exactly how my "Magnetic" one is. And from what dtziheucdavis says his non-magnetic one is the exact same. I think Samsung just rebranded and is now charging $10 more for the same thing. Not cool!
I might be a little off topic but I found this case on ebay.co.uk:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smart-Mag...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item416f5f3250
It really looks like the official ones that you are talking about, and it only costs £11!
Do you think that there is any trick here? I'm surprised by such a low price and it makes me suspicious, but more than 300 people already bought it and the seller is an ebay top-rated one...
I also had a few questions for the owners of an official case: does the 2 positions (for typing and viewing) hold well? Will the tablet fall if I type a bit strongly on the screen? And also, I don't use the camera that much but it can happen so isn't it too annoying that the camera is covered when you open the case?
Thanks guys!

I bought one 15 € and it's just like the official one (excepted the price).
You have to know that samsung offers 20 € if you buy an official one, so it will cost you only 20 €

Wacom nibs may work. This link takes you to wacom's repacement nib order page. https://www.wacom.com/store/accessories/nibs-and-ink-refills the bamboo hard white plastic nibs look like the nib that's installed on the s-pen out-of-box. You might contact Wacom customer support and ask them if it would work.

Thanks for the tip.... I did call Wacom customer support and the person that I spoke to said that there nibs would not fit.
Too bad. Cheaper OEM pens with 5 replacement nibs are starting to show up online. Amazon has a reseller selling them for right under $34 (with shipping) so hopefully we'll see OEM nib packs in the $5 price range like Wacom's. It's crazy that Samsung isn't selling them online. I guess they feel that they have more time since they included extra nibs. Are you in need of nibs now or are you just planning ahead?

It looks like the 10 bucks was a one time price from a specific seller. The open box s-pen prices vary greatly. I am seeing them for 14-25 bucks on ebay right now. Still, even for 14 or 18 bucks, it is better & cheaper than anywhere else.

The Nibs/Tips for the S-pen are not replacable. So when it gets too small to work with you need to get a new pen. That is an incorrect statment I was thinking of the s-pen for the Note 2. Sorry

Just so you know, the watch should have come with extra links in a little envelope tucked into the side of the round box. Unless you weigh 300+ lbs I cant imagine you could need more links that this, it's like 4 additional links on top of the fact that the watch is already loose out of the box for most people.

Hi,
I just bought a second hand Huawei Watch with a stainless steel link band. Unfortunately it only has 7 of the original 12 removable links attached, the previous owner must have had very small wrists. The missing links cannot be found Does anybody here know whether replacement links can be bought separately? My search yielded no results.
Thanks for any help / pointers.
 The links have been found!
But it seems that they can not be bought separately, neither from Huawei nor from a repair contractor. So keep your eyes on those little buggers!
If anyone happens to have extra Black Stainless Steel links, I'd be interested in buying a couple! Got mine today but it's like 1 or 2 links too tight.
