Hi all. New to the forums but I like what I see so far. I am also new to PDA's this PDA2K is my first PDA let alone PDA/Phone. I came to it from a nokia 6600. Anyways, I have my rom unlocked and everything. What I would like to know is what the programs are that are in it. Does anyone know what they all are? I will list a copy of the files and I hope someone helps. Thanks. Nick.

Hi -pixelfreak-, which version of @HypoTurtle 's installer did you use? Also aroma and recovery logs might help to pinpoint any bugs in the installer.
It looks to me like /data/dalvic-cache was not created by aroma, or is not mounted by ramdisk, might be an idea to post initrd.gz too

I suffered a lot, searched, read, tried, and succeeded.
This is important.
1. Installed is the latest rom and one of Gapps.zip
2. Download from the AppOpsX app, a GITHUB hosting site
3. Developer options, USB debugging enable. Install it, set it up. SU is right.

5.. You give Google Apps the missing permissions.
6. You are saving the settings. (Right above, only modified applications)
7. If you have a problem after restarting, you will be able to reset this backup.
8. You grant permission to NEOSAFE, Permission, AppOpsX for auto-start management.
If, after restarting, there is a problem, any Google Apps, Play store opens, locks lock in memory, airplane mode turns on, resumes AppOpsX rescue.
Lock out, airplane mode off, erase, re-enter, use.

A little bit differently works on every rom and GAPPS.
I do not know how well you are, adb shell command, package manager, etc.
Driver, adb is installed on pc. USB debugging yes.
Download the File Explorer app. Install. Home "Apps", "System apps", you can find which one does not work normally, click there.
Necessary root right. When the app details are opened, you will see the Permissions right and you will be drawn to the permissions that you will not receive from the application.
Here are some ready-made adb shell commands that I needed.

1. In file manager home I don't have APPS.
2. Still need airplane trick for playstore, right?
Im on Chinese Version 2.56 with Gapps, though still thereis error on some Gapps, at least the frequncy of Authenticating Error has been decreased.
Could you please comment on how you got there?
Which ROM did you install? And which GAPPS did you install?

I prefer doing twrp, wipe data, cache, dalvik cache.
Remain as the Google apps system application.
Afterward, even some of the necessary permissions, adb shell, and are you sure everything works nicely.

I really hope there is an official international rom coming soon, must say i am rather dissapointed with my New nubia Z17, and on the verge of going back to my "old" le max 2 running a cuoco92 rom.
In most aspects i find my le max 2 is running much better than the z17, at the moment i only find the camera is better on the z17, everything else runs so much more smooth on my old phone.
Rather dissapointed in the z17, the hardware seems great but the software is lacking big time.

No metter the process, I already release all the permissions to all the google apps ( via pssOpsX) but still not possible to configure a google account.
It is useless without this function to me

Something a little funny. I'm with the 4.06 Arceoxis version. I can't update apps in wifi mode or 4g mode. I found 2 solutions :
Launch the update, for one apps, wait a little.
Power off the phone
Startup, PIN code. If the app is not very large, the download finishes and the update is installed.
I've to do it for each apps to update.
Or...
Wait until 1AM. The update process runs normally.
Any suggestion ?
PS. I always did the trick mentioned in this thread.

As it seems that many face problems connecting via WIFI and the USB cradle is hard to get, here we have another way to connect to the watch via Bluetooth. Tested in Linux only, so use Linux (or a Linux VM). Might work on Gear S3 as well, is someone could try it would be appreciated. This is all based on the sdb proxy apk provided with GWD.
a) Turn on debugging on the watch. Edit: and reboot the watch
b) Make sure your Linux O/S has sdb, socat, and Bluetooth support. Run all this as root.
c) Pair the watch (bluetoothctl and Google).
d) Browse the services exposed by the watch (sdptool browse <watch bluetooth MAC>).
e) Check the output and write down the channel number of the following UUIDs: 39e9ae15-62e4-4529-9019-8a2c07a27051 (usually 1), b6a09fda-886e-45ad-9c36-5050db58c8ff (usually 2)
f) Execute rfcomm -S -A -E -r connect /dev/rfcomm0 <watch bluetooth MAC> 1 (1 = number of the channel of the first UUID). This will turn on SDB on the watch. Wait about 1-2 seconds, then press Ctrl+C.
g) Execute rfcomm -S -A -E -r connect /dev/rfcomm0 <watch bluetooth MAC> 2 (2 = number of the channel of the second UUID). This will connect rfcomm0 to the SDB server on the watch.
h) In another session, run "socat FILE:/dev/rfcomm0,nonblock,raw,b115200,echo=0 TCP-LISTEN:4560,fork,keepalive"
i) In yet another session run "sdb connect 127.0.0.1:4560".
j) Confirm the security prompt on the watch.
k) Run again "sdb shell". You should now have a shell on the watch.
If you miss the prompt at step j), or somehow the watch fails to display the confirmation prompt:
- run sdb kill-server
- go to /root/.tizen and delete sdbkey and sebdkey.pub
- make sure the watch is not sleeping, wake it up
- start again from step i)

So maybe newer versions have more or less Bugs...

"Special" is.
I can use Copy and Paste with right Mouse click...
In newer Version they deactivated right Mouse Button...
I'm forced to go to top corner...
This is tooo complicated for me to Copy and Paste few longer Commands.
No idea if I can enable right Mouse Button...
