Hello,
after installing the latest lollipop update yesterday i received flashlight, calculator and power to give apps. but after rebooting phone to make some backups ect i realised that the apps disappeared. What could have caused that? May it be because bootloader is unlocked?
Thanks people.
PS: I'm enjoying nice battery life with the latest update.
I also received the update but I have those application . Flashlight calculator and power to give applications are present.
Sent from my HTC Desire 820 dual sim using XDA Free mobile app
Bro i think u make factory reset after installing the update because
Calc, flashlight etc. In data/app folder in ota update .it is not a system app
In ota .if you want to install those apps manullay install the apps ..apps
Found on extracted ota in data/app folder
Yes bro i already installed the apps manually. Just wanted to know why they disappeared. Thanks for making it clear.
"System Update Downloaded" when updating Google - is this Google or an OTA update?
I have an LG G3 D851 KitKat, rooted with a firewall, XPosed Framework, and all kinds of mods that I do not want messed with.
I just had a problem that was solved by restoring Google Play Store and Google Play Services from a two-week old nandroid backup.
Now I see a notification in the task bar, "System Update Downloaded - Android System Update". Okay, so this could be my Google updates, but I suspect it might also be a recent T-Mobile upgrade to my stock ROM that will lose boot and make my life a mess (BTW I have OTA update notifications disabled in the secret menu).
How can I be sure this isn't an OTA ROM update? If this is, can anyone tell me exactly where would I find the T-Mobile OTA update file so I can gleefully delete it?
Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm on that clean 13B image that has been debloated and rooted, and I love that image so much I don't want Marshmallow update. With that said it keeps popping up on my phone to install now or later, which tells me it downloaded on its own because i have the Wifi disabled. Is it to late to disable OTA updates?

Check /cache/fota and see if the OTA file is there. You should be able to delete it with a root file manager.
See this for disabling update:

Open Titantium backup then freeze the app/item called System updates 1_14_10_0 - there's two of them, the second one seemed to actually turn off the notification. I successfully downloaded the file to upload it here and then re-froze them and it hasn't bugged me at all to install. You'll have to unfreeze that to get it to even allow you to look at the system updates page in settings again.
Dear OP,
All you need to do is rename, freeze, or delete /priv-app/LGDMSClient(folder)/LGDMSClient.apk
Any root explorer works. I used es file explorer. It's free.
I don't want to make any update but I receive notifications every day.
How can I disable these notifications ?
E.g. try this:
Disable system update?
Hi, I was wondering how I can stop my phone from updating to one UI 3.0? I forgot to disable automatic updates and so it downloaded the update and is saying I will be forced to install in 3 hours...are there certain services in adb I can...
