[Q] Custom roms

Hi!
My p6 has now official international B510. I would like to install twrp and then custom rom, but I don't know where to start. I guess I should install kitkat beta? If so where I can download it and can I just install it via local update?

Hello !
If you want to install TWRP Recovery first, make sure your bootloader is unlocked !
Also you need to have some basic knowledge on how to use "adb", "fastboot" and how to set proper driver in your PC to recognized your device even in bootloader mode ! ( If you think these things are still unknown to you, than Google is your friend in order to bring this knowledge )
After, you can start with those threads : Club Huawei, How-TO - Flash Kernel, TWRP and Stock Recovery, General Bootloader Unlock for ALL Huawei Phones!, TWRP 2.7.1.0 .

Lg D855 kitkat downgrade

Hi all,i am new here. I have my g3 d855 for 6 months. I rooted it,i have supersu,android 5.0,bought from UK. It was locked on vodafone,i unlocked it using imei. Now i have 2 questions:
1. If i resintall stock firmware(KK 4.4.2) ,my phone will be again locked on vodafone?
2. After i rooted it,i tried flash TWRP using flashify,it said it was successful,but when i tried enter in recovery mode,it said:boot security error. I finally succeed installing TWRP using autorec. Now,the question:can i upgrade android if i have twrp,thinking that soon android 6.0 will be out?(i will unroot it first using SuperSU settings).
I have stock 5.0 ,but if i try restore stock recovery it appears again boot error security. Thanks for patience and i hope i dont bother anyone,im still learning to use my phone

You simply dont want tot do that you need to wait for a original ROM that is modded ( just a simpel ROM with root en some uptions disabled like update ets ) why ??? Tot keep your bootloader the way it is now . if you still want original lg ROM you still can like always ( you can always flash a original ROM aslong you dont have a hardware failure ALWAYS !
If iets still locked if flashed normale ROM i dont know , i never go to original.( first thing i do is removing original ROM for ever !)

flash stock recovery first thn adb sideload stock firmware

want to go back on stock rom and relock bootloader

Plss help me i unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp after that my system app deleted like Huawei care and not applying themes and font i formated the phone but not worked i wamt to go back on nougt or oreo beta rom currently twrp working fine pls help me

Download Huawei Multi-tool 8. There is an option to relock your bootloader using your own keys.
From reading the forum: DO NOT downgrade from Oreo or you will brake your phone!
Download update.zip for your particular device from: http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=BND&firmware_page=0

Can a global rom with twrp and rooted be updated thru ota?

I've unlocked bootloader of my chinese redmi note 5 pro and flashed a global rom on it then updated to global v9.6.3.0, after that I installed twrp thru adb and root with magisk. Now, will I be able to update this to a new global version thru ota?

Is there a workaround to do so?

You can comeback to recovery stock or download update file to storage , boot to twrp then flash update zip. After update , masgik will not work

So the official update zip will work on twrp? I thought it's not possible on a custom recovery. Anyway I'll try that, thanks.

Work fine. But if you flash full rom , not update pack, all data will be earse , mi recovery comeback.
